We were craving Italian subs (like a grinder style) and stopped at Trax. Seems like a hidden gem, tucked away in an unassuming small strip mall. Delicious! High quality thinly sliced meat, soft rolls, good vegetables (the tomatoes actually tasted good, which I think is uncommon for sandwich topping tomatoes). I got the turkey and cheese sub and husband got Italian cold cut. We loved it so much we got one to go for dinner later. Highly recommend. read more

Eaten here many times over the years and never disappointed. I could eat here for a week straight and not get tired of it. Every time I go in the service is great! Today was my first time visiting Trax. I got a Philly cheesesteak after I read other reviews. I love Philly cheesesteaks, and couldn't have one for years living overseas. So had a huge craving. . I have to say it was the best I've had in years. Tons of steak, peppers, onions and mushrooms. The classic gooey cheese. Not greasy. Big. And good roll. $13.99 for a 12 inch. Definitely worth it. Basically the best restaurant in Salisbury. The staff is always friendly either on the phone or when you come in. Very nice portions of food for your money. Everything is extremely fresh. I recommend the cheesesteak wrap, or Italian cold cuts. I enjoy my meal every time I order! read more

In my opinion, this is one of the best places to eat in the Salisbury area. Having been here a bunch I have never received bad food. Their subs and Stromboli's can go head to head with any restaurant. Their fried chicken is also top dollar, yet everything is superb. Prices are very fair for the quality of food you receive. Every time someone comes and visits I take them to Trax and they love it. If you're in town or haven't tried Trax yet I suggest you go have a taste, you won't be disappointed. read more

My mom and I came here on a whim for lunch. It was absolutely amazing, I got the buffalo chicken panini and she got the chicken salad sub. Someone said that the chicken is "rubbery," I have to disagree and say that that's what TENDER chicken is supposed to taste like. It was super good. Always a good spot to eat when I come home. The owners are friendly and always remember who I am. They know I'm either home visiting my parents or if it's in August, I'm there for my family reunion. Now on to the food. I have never gotten anything bad there, but at certain spots I am always a creature of habit. I'm afraid to try anything out side of an Italian cold cut, cheese steak pita, cheese steak sub,shrimp, burgers, fries. Trax new location, Hiat's Twilley Center, Salisbury, MD. visit Thursday May 16, 2019 lunch I was eager to try the new Hiat's, so today two other people and myself went for lunch. There were only a couple of people waiting when we first got there. We ordered and paid our lunch to eat there. Shortly after that a large number of people came in. From that point on everything went downhill. there can be some glitches when a business first opens, but it is how they handle problems that defines what to expect. As we patiently waited for our food, we started to notice that people that came in after we did were getting their food. We had been waiting for more than 20 minutes by then. I approached the counter and inquired about where our orders were. We were asked what number we had, but neither the woman taking our order or the woman that rung us up and took our money gave us a number. We were only asked our name when we ordered. Apparently, our orders were never put in. They asked us what we ordered and were told they would take care of it. About 20 minutes later after most of the remaining customers had been served one of us got their food a few minutes later another got his food. After about another 20 minutes and both of the people with me were done with their lunch, I went back to the counter very frustrated with the lack of attention and service that was being provided. I told then I was not very happy and just asked for my money back since my ride was ready to go. they kept saying well we are new, I said that the problem is once they told me they were taking care of it they should have followed it up with actually checking that my food was being prepared. I was told they put the order in but they were busy. For the record I ordered the lunch combo with the Italian Sub. As I sit here typing this (especially after not having a lunch), all three of us are not too eager to recommend or return. Your customer service needs a lot of work. I do not think that it would have been unreasonable to expect someone actually following up once the problem was addressed. Siting there for an hour still without a lunch is ridiculous. read more

This place is amazing! I have had several things on the menu and they have all been delicious! Their salads are fresh and their sandwiches are delivered hot. My favorite sandwich so far has been the crispy buffalo chicken pita! This place is definitely Salisbury's best kept secret!!! read more

The good was great! Salads were fresh, sandwiches fantastic and the Smith Island Cake worth the trip to this deli. Highly recommend! Only drawback and reason for four stars rather than 5 was bathroom location. Intimidating to go through part of the kitchen to get to it. read more

Traxx deli has always been amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious. The employees are always polite and friendly. Tonight was the first night we had an issue. We were missing a sub. We called and the nice man apologized multiple times and offered us a piece of cake for having to come back to make it up to us. We understood and respectfully declined. We just wanted our sub. When we went to pick it up he apologized more and offered the cake again. We declined again. It was such a sweet offer but we know mistakes happen. We got home and he STILL gave us a piece of cake. We were so shocked. They treated us with respect from start to finish and went above and beyond to make us even more happy. Trax Deli is my new favorite place to get a greek salad. They use the green portion of the romaine lettuce, which we rarely see anymore, and it is so much better for us. My sister is also a big fan of their greek salad. They also have yummy brownies and Smith Island cakes, I really love their fried mushrooms too. The batter they use for the mushrooms is the best I've ever had. Their chicken wings are not so great. They taste old and don't have much flavor. As far as cleanliness of this place goes, they seem to be clean. It is hard to tell since we are unable to see what types of things go on behind the scenes. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because all of the employees, but the blond that works the counter, are not very friendly. read more

As my friends and I awaited for 10 a.m. to come around, we laid in the grass with an emptiness in our stomach's that only a greasy cheesesteak could satisfy. Our livers slowly melting away by the toxins of cheap rum and fruity wine, cheesesteaks seemed to be the only thing that could fill the void of our sad, lonely lives. As we stumbled outside of Trax on that beautiful spring day, we felt a warmth that only could've been felt by a....cheesesteak. The hangover was no more and liquor then flowed like wine at the last supper. Had it not been for the glorious cheesesteak on that day in early April, my life would forever possess a void. Ok, way to step your game up Trax. I just had one of the best lunches from here that I have had from anywhere in a while. First off I noticed the floor was scrubbed to within an inch of its life with bleach. And that's how I like it. A+ for cleanliness. Drink machine was spotless....also the service was excellent the last few times around, so thumbs up there...but oh man, but the chicken soup was awesome. Don't think the fresh chopped veggies went unnoticed. I got that with the Egg Salad Salad and was completely satisfied with my lunch. The egg salad is light and fluffy with a hint of pepper through out. It could be served on a bed of romain and that would be fine. Until next time. read more

Trax is a good quick option for lunch. The best items are their buffalo chicken Stromboli, gyros, and cheesesteaks. The cheesesteaks aren't Philly caliber but they do the job considering the other options in Salisbury. They have a combo with fries and a drink which isn't a bad deal. read more

Absolutely horrible!!! Just have bought fish and chicken baskets from them an hour ago. They are lucky they packed it to go, otherwise we would've returned everything! Almost $40.00 for uneatable food! When did they change the oil in their fryers last time? A month ago? The chicken tenders that were ordered for a child looked like that lady obsessed with sun tanning - same "lovely" dark brown color. Everything went straight into the trash. Including their coleslaw. Food Lion store brand coleslaw is a delicacy in comparison!! Never go there again. Trash. read more

Just had our first visit to Trax and will absolutely be back. We started off with delicious appetizers - BBQ wings for my husband, buffalo wings for my teenage son and mozzerella sticks for me. All were very, very good. Then for the meal, hubby really enjoyed his panini, my son loved his buffalo chicken sub but it was so big he could only eat half at one sitting, and I was blown away by the *massive* stromboli that was stuffed with delicious ingredients - I got two more meals out of it! The man working the counter was very fast and friendly, and the shop and bathrooms were clean (a big issue for me in many other places!). We wish we had found Trax sooner, but now that we know about this gem we have many more things we want to try there. read more
