Mac and cheese

Seriously good food! When the leftovers are a hit - you just know! I decided to try this restaurant out. It is hard to find really good food on the Eastern Shore in Maryland but this place is a hidden drive. From the moment I walked in the door - I was well received. The prices are - well pricey - but worth every penny. I can taste it as I type. Mouth watering! The only complaint I have is they don't have cornbread, but yeast rolls instead. The lady at the front reminded me of an auntie and she gave me a side of Macaroni Salad (I didn't order their star player - yams! - so she wanted me to try the next best). It was soooo good....I know its NOT vegan mayo but it was good!!!! So good... The fish was fried nicely and tasty. The butterfly shrimp - 3 for $7.99 were quite huge (I prefer popcorn shrimp but these were breaded and fried well). The greens had meat!! I wasn't sure if it was pork, so I didn't eat it but my neighbor said they were exceptional. The sweet potatoe pie wasn't my fave. I would suggest trying a different dessert - only because it cost $3.99 I am only sad that I was a day early and missed the dressing...visit them!!! you gotta try it to believe it....

Brian did a great job at communicating with us and making sure our experience was perfect. Food was top notch no complaints. Best food we had all weekend during our Ocean City Trip!

Well, I went here Mother's Day weekend because my mother swore by it! But cannot... the service was nice, the lady was really sweet and understanding especially how many times I sent my sides back. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and it tasted like it was sitting in the water it was boiled in. The young lady took that back and brought me out so called collard greens. They did not taste like collards greens at all. I do not know what green vegetable that was but it was very disappointing. The young lady came back again and I ended up just getting another candied yam. I really didn't want two of the same sides but I was scared to try anything else. Pork chops were okay, kinda small but okay. I just wasn't thrilled at this point. Restaurant had a huge bar but guess what they did not have? alcohol! Not sure if they lost their license but that really sucked. Place was okay nothing crazy and they did have live music. The jazz was nice and we even dropped him a tip.

Sweet tea with Macaroni and Cheese Candied Yams four piece of chicken.

Great food and very friendly service! Nice ambiance as well ! Little hidden gem of Salisbury.

Stuffed shrimp with crab imperial, 2 thighs dark meant mac and cheese, greens, cabbage and yams.

Great sweet tea with delicious food. All the seafood is a good portion for the price especially in the imperials. First time dining and and couldn't be dissatisfied. Good service even for them to be so busy on a Sunday!

They did not have any disappointing. My wife ordered a club sandwich that was supposed to come with Gouda cheese, ham, turkey, lettuce, tomato, and aïoli sauce. When she got it, there was no cheese so we had to return it and they ended up having to use a Colby cheese as they didn't have any Gouda. It had one slice of ham, one slice of turkey, one piece of cheese, lettuce, and tomato and three big pieces of bread. I ordered a double cheeseburger with four pieces of bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. When the cheeseburger came I was told that oh by the way we are out of bacon tonight. So now we're out of cheesesteaks and bacon and forgot to put the cheese on the club sandwich along with meat. Then my wife used the bathroom, which had three stalls in it the one was completely clogged. The second one was semi clogged and the third one that wasn't clogged at all had no toilet paper. The machine to dry your hands was halfway up the wall and it needed a good cleaning. Overall, needless to say not very happy with the way the night went, but on a good note, our waiter was exceptionally nice person and did his best to make things right which didn't happen.

The steak this visit was perfect, seasoned just right, juicy and tender. Broccoli was also cooked just right with the right amount of seasoning. Water glass never went dry, and all condiment were offered. Server and manager were on point with professionalism. Bad: Food has been subpar serval outings prior to this. So hopes were high it would be better. Steak quality and seasoning both suffered last few times. I'd compare it to a Walmart steak, seasoned lightly and cooked by a trainee. This trip, the Wild West shrimp came out soggy. It's fried shrimp, how do you mess that up. Do not let it set in grease, and cook it all the way. Appetizer was sent back. Main portion was devoured Verdict: Good place to eat. Food is on point most of time. Keep the quality high and do not send subpar food out. Always a great choice to eat here.

However on my recent Sunday visit, I want to offer suggestions for a five star rating and future visits. I'll admit it was busy; but not an excuse for the dirty entry door windows. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The carpet was littered with crumbs. A large seating across from us (about 10 people) sat for a lengthy period before it was cleared. After clearing the table, additional crumbs and crayons were knocked on the floor... where they stayed and were not recognised or cleared during my stay. Finally after visiting the men's room, the floor was wet starting at the urinals. It was not clear if this was water or urine as I brought the wet floor to the attention of the server and manager during a prior visit a week earlier. It was disgusting and the Salisbury community deserves better. A bit more training and periodic monitoring of the overall cleanliness
