It was Sunday, so the store was closed.

All the rumors are true kids!! If you need proof of that, they've recently expanded the dining space into an adjacent store unit. Great home style cooking in a thrift store!

Now, this SCORE is hiding in the Teen Challenge thrift store!! I can't believe out of all places in the world this great restaurant is located in a thrift shop and I'm so happy I got let in on the secret of Seaford, Delaware. I'm always starving for seafood, especially crabcakes. And whenever I'm on the east coast I already have my mind made up to find a new great place. I'm used to Maryland style crabcakes but today it's a different kind of treat. They were fried with crust on the outside but had no bread fillings. It was pure crab meat and straight delicious. That came with 2 pickable sides being asparagus and baked cinnamon apples. Today I ordered the soup on special which was Cream of Crab and I've never had that before but became my #1 of soups. It's that flavorful and just scrumptious. The delightful, yummy strawberry crème pretzel desert is the highlight of my meal today. I was very lucky to get to take a nibble off the Special of day being Stuffed Shrimp with 2 sides being Mac n cheese and beets. This delectable is 4 jumbo shrimp baked with pure crab casserole. Between the awesome hospitality service that Patty gave and the delicious home cooked food I can see why this place gets packed. There is a 2nd overflow renovation room. It's very nice here and not to mention the fresh salad bar I seen on the way in. I just can't say enough about this fabulous restaurant and highly would recommend it. I'm for sure coming back again.

    A side of coleslaw

By now if you read the reviews this is in Teen Challenge thrift store (great group). This is were locals go and a lot of homemade food. We stopped by for lunch. It was busy but we were seated right away. Waitress was there right away. They have a good size menu and a large amount of specials on the white board. We ordered homemade crab soup, butterfly shrimp ,fries . The crab soup was different not creamy like what I'm used to. It was fair to good and I would order it again. The shrimp was out of the box frozen blah won't get that again. The fries were barely ok. Next order was the chicken and dumplings, salad and coleslaw. The dumplings are made in house, so tender they melted in your mouth but the gravy was a bit watery. I would get this again but a thicker gravy would have been awesome. They have a salad bar but our waitress got us a salad and it had plenty of ingredients in it and the blue cheese dressing was good. The coleslaw had to much of something in it. I couldn't tell what but I think pickle juice. It was fair but my taste buds were fighting the urge to pucker. Lunch was around $31 mainly due to $5 for soup and $6 for the cherry cheesecake. Definitely going back . I say give it a try.

Started with pretzel salad, to die for. And it just got better from there. Felt like I was talking with my mother. It was a good feeling.

This cake is $50.00 but it's homemade mandarin orange and behind was an Oreo cake I want them both

If you're in the area, and want something cost efficient and quick, this place will do the trick. The chicken croquettes are fantastic.

The Greek Pita Place - Amazing my new favorite "Chicken Souvlaki Greek Salad" order the creamy Greek dressing so fresh. The best Greek pita bread.

The ambiance of the restaurant was authentic with enlarged family and regional homeland photographs posted on the walls. I chose to order my standard pork souvlaki on a pita. I was not dissappointed. I watched as the fresh marinated meat was cooked on what appeared to be an open flame grill. It was prepared from scratch and not just reheated. The meat was tender and appropriately seasoned. The toppings were fresh and abundant. The pita, although probably bought, was moist and heated through. Held together well while wrapped around the contents of the sandwich. While I was waiting for my sandwich, there was a steady flow of customers picking up called in orders. There appeared to be a familiarity with all those that picked up orders, so this establishment must have a decent following. Overall an excellent authentic Greek pork souvlaki!!! I would highly recommend that if you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop and savor their food!!

Gentleman working the counter was pleasant and professional. Plenty of seating. Clean restrooms. Most importantly, the food was delicious! Went healthy for lunch. My wife enjoyed the small chicken souvlaki salad and I went with the large lamb souvlaki salad. The ingredients were very fresh and plentiful. The feta was high quality and the pops of flavor from the Kalamata olives were excellent. The lamb itself was seasoned nicely. The pepperoncini gave me a good cry. The sneaky star of the whole thing was their creamy Greek dressing! Absolutely delicious and we would love to have a gallon of it! Certainly would be happy to stop in again on future trips!

We decided to go to Suicide on Friday evening before attending a marriage conference at the Hyatt…read more We got there pretty early around 4pm. It was quiet and empty. We were seated right away. Our waitress Holly was attentive and knowledgeable. My husband ordered the Suicide Oysters and I ordered the Casino Clams for appetizers. I did not try his but mine were so small I had trouble finding the clam, and they smelled so much like feet. I think I had a different idea of Casino Clams, I was very disappointed. He also said his was nothing to write home about. I ordered the Delmonico Steak, he ordered the filet and we each added a lobster tail. Our steaks were wonderful. Cooked and seasoned perfectly - I'm still thinking about it haha! Our lobster tails on the other hand were so overcooked we had to basically swallow them whole. I ordered the potato of the day which was crazy potato's and the vegetable of the day which was kale -- both of those were ultimately great. Before we got our check we heard the waitress taking care of the table behind us mention dessert -- an eclair to be exact and I convinced my husband to get one -- it was either going to be really good or really bad judging by our experience. I wish I could tell you it was the most fabulous eclair I'd ever had and it made up for the $40 worth of terrible appetizers but that would be a lie :( It was huge, but it was frozen! I took it home to let it thaw out and the chocolate on top was still so thick 6hours later that I couldn't even bite into it. I had to flip it around and eat it with a fork on the side with the pastry. We expected so much more from this restaurant especially for what we paid. I'm not sure we have ever spent that much money at any restaurant for just the two of us EVER. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of my food, I didn't plan to leave a review!

It was a fantastic stop on the way home and the little crab fritters were to die for!read more
