Tofu with Ponzu Glass Noodles and veggies!
    Aarti B.

Delicious healthy food, so glad I found a healthy spot with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options in Rehoboth. So good I came back the next day! The service is stellar and right at closing as they were putting away all of the ingredients, the staff (both guys) kindly let me in and quickly order. They were patient and kind. Most establishments would have turned me away, and I gave the repeat business the next day (I came in earlier!) I really enjoyed the Lemon glass Noodles bursting with flavor and the Scrambled Falafel, Curried Cauliflower along with the BBQ Tofu (albeit there were some burnt tofu pieces that were sitting too long under the burner). The Ponzu Glass Noodles were a bit greasy. The Red Pepper Hummus dressing paired well with the meal. The broccoli, corn, edamame, sesame seeds, and pumpkin packed in extra nutrients and helped to round out the meal. Excited to come back next year for my annual Rehoboth beach trip!

This place is worth the U-turn you'll most likely need to make on busy Rte. 1! My family has been coming here for a few years during trips to Rehobeth Beach and I finally got to experience it for myself. There's a wide variety of different rice/noodle/greens as bases, both plant-based and seafood or poultry based proteins, and a tasty assortment of different seasoned vegetables, sauces, and toppings. Everything is also gluten free. The regular size portion is very filling and there are endless ways to customize it. I'm looking forward to going back next time I'm in Rehobeth!

Upon entering, staff was very welcoming, the music is at a great level to not have to shout or speak too loudly at your table or while ordering. My friend and I both created our bowls with the "A Bowl Your Way" option, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about what flavors complemented each other and even offered the best sauce for our bowls based on what we put in them. I did the regular sized A Bowl Your Way with Japanese Kale, Tri-color Quinoa, Balsamic Mushrooms, Garlic Broccoli, Basil Tomatoes, Thai Cucumbers, Coconut Curry Bean Stew, Sunflower Seeds, and Chimichurri Sauce. I had no intentions on finishing it in one sitting so she offered to put it in a to go bowl, but it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The flavors were having a dance party on my tastebuds and I was sad to get to the end of the bowl. The Sunshine Sipper smoothie was great. The banana was giving main character energy, as they often do in smoothies, but the other flavors showed up as well giving a great morning or mid-day pick me up. Definitely worth the stop on the way to the beach. Will keep this spot in my back pocket for future visits

Healthy and delicious! Whenever I order from Seedbol, I am always impressed with the variety and unique flavor combinations. I also love the opportunity to customize my order with so many choices. When we stopped by earlier this week for lunch, my mom ordered the Flavors of Asia bowl of soup. She said the vegetable broth was flavorful and the tofu and veggies were hearty. Who would have thought she'd feel so sated after some soup? In fact, she couldn't finish the entire bowl and took some home for later. I ordered the Skinny Bowl with scrambled falafel, veggies, and garlic red pepper dressing. The falafel was nutty, earthy and had a delicious blend of herbs. The dressing was the perfect complement to the palate. When my other family members learned we were lunching at Seedbol, we received several to go orders. Needless to say, take home (soup and a skinny bowl with spiced sweet potatoes and chicken added) was devoured in minutes with accolades. I especially like Seedbol's transparency on calories for each meal component which makes participating in WW and other calorie counting plans easy! No guessing needed. Two young men served us and both were friendly and patient as we mulled over the plethora choices. The restaurant was clean and we felt comfortable dining in and taking out. The only drawback to this specialty store is cost. It would be fabulous for many to taste the deliciousness of a non-processed and healthy meal. But a $15.00 salad may be too costly for a family with limited means. It would be great if Seedbol could compete with the dollar menu at McDonald's especially for kids who may not be exposed to fresh greens.

This place is amazing! I am not vegan or vegetarian, but this place tastes so awesome. The ingredients are fresh and perfectly seasoned; not too much, not too little. And the portions are perfect; not too little, not too much. I will return here.

Very impressed. As expensive as this place was for $14 for a regular sized bowl I would highly recommend it. It was much needed after a weekend of unhealthy, fried foods. I was surprised to find how fresh everything was. Can't wait to go back in the summer when I need a recharge of fresh, clean food after eating all the fried foods from the boardwalk.

Very fresh build your own bowls with tasty, healthy treats. I saw plenty of takeouts ready to go, so it's popular! Seasonings are very nice, not shy, but not too strong on the spices. Cute booths inside, a couple picnic tables out front. Free Ice water or interesting drinks. Tucked in a little strip of things on Route 1. If you are heading south, you flip at Old Landing and the entrance is your first on the right (which in season is a bonus because you can use the shoulder lane). Or you can wind your way from the Wawa lot.

To get to the seating area, you walk by a large bar at the front. It was a bit off-putting, as it wasn't clear to me whether the place was a bar with food or a restaurant. Once you settle in at your table, it's clear it's a restaurant. My partner and I shared the Appetizer platter, which includes Hummus, Dolma, Baba Ganoush, Cous Cous, Eggplant Salad, Potato & Bean Salad, & yogurt. It also comes with pita bread, cut into small slices/triangles. You can also order falafel as an add-on, at $2 per falafel ball. The appetizer platter items were all good. The pita was a bit hard and didn't have much flavor. it was also a small portion of pita - we ran out fairly quickly. The falafel balls were also very good. Crunchy on the outside, but moist and flavorful inside. Really good falafel. The service was fine. We did have to call the staff over to fill water glasses. Service could have been better, considering the restaurant wasn't crowded. My beef with the place is the price. The platter is $27.99, and $2 each for falafels. I think that's a high price point for the platter. At a minimum, it could include 2 falafel balls to help better justify the high price.

After many a weekend spent and many a restaurant tried we welcomed new eats at The Blue Hen. This menu is intriguing- small, tight but inventive- we were so excited to eat here! Was wonderful in having a table ready when we arrived for at-will, no reserve seating at about 7pm. Quiet corner. Promptly greeted by our server. She was gracious, so nice, and helpful our whole dining time. We ordered readily, in Mom's overwhelming hunger, lolol. Ordered the Lobster Toast and the Yellow Tomato Gazpacho, as starters. Amazingly accommodating on our order of this gorgeous gazpacho. We were given 2 bowls to split this tomato beauty. A few spoons of smooth & sweet, acidic, flavorful, gripping. Could have ordered more! The Lobster Toast- Accompanied by a concoction of radish, sesame, bitter-sweet....stunning bites in this salad. Unfamiliar but pronounced in the combination. Well done. The lobster- Absent. Wished for an open faced variety. Or at least a dish that advocates for lobster. Charge more. Bigger brioche. Pronounce those beautiful lobster bites in presentation. The lobster as served, was not the star. Ok, a moment for cocktails though- Whoa. Killer kill. The Church Girl Martini. Blessed be in evil, haha This Girl was too tasty in being that strong. So good in flavor, unbeknownst combos. A definite Watch Yourself and watch out for!! Entrees.....well when ordering was told the Sea Bream was out- disappointed on that. The entree menu is small, so should keep available. And when we entered the restaurant it was busier after we sat....so why out of a primary fish already?? So decided ahead- Mom had the Burger and I had the Crab Cake Sandwich. The burger- smashed, but still big patties. A perfect medium. Good overall. The bacon jam was an ask on the side. The bacons were really spicy lardons and were delicious. My crab cake sandwich. Hmmm. You are a sandwich. For the pricing, it's not there. Ate the Lumps, but the rest of the sandwich should I say was in the Dumps? Nothing to be said of standout. Would recommend putting this crab cake as a stand alone entree with accompaniment. Forget the bun. Overall food gets a 3.75. Drinks, environment and service a 4. The Blue Hen is not Spent. But also is not the Top Chicken.

I decided I wanted to do a brunch type of place instead and randomly found this place. This place was definitely me. We have the indigo gin at home that changes color when you add citrus to it, but I never really have took the time to just sit and watch it change completely, it was cool. The espresso martini, I think was one of the best espresso martinis I ever had! I like the option you get to pick if you want tequila, rum, or vodka with it. I normally don't like vodka that much but I'll tolerate it in an espresso martini because it covers up the vodka taste. But I liked the different options, and the tequila went well with it. I think tequila espresso martinis are becoming popular now, I've seen them more now. The other drinks they had were great as well! We got a strawberry cream martini which was delicious. I think we got some kind of cheesecake key lime martini with cheesecake on the rim, which was great too. Love the over the top drinks since I'm over the top too. We drank more than we were planning but oh well can't help it they were so good. For food I got the lobster Benedict which was amazing, prob one of the best Benedict's I've had too. The hollandaise sauce was great, it was flavorful , creamy, the right thickness , not too runny. So many places can mess that up. And the lobster was fresh and I think there was a decent amount. My husband's chicken and waffles were delicious as well. The servers/bartenders were also very friendly and helpful. We at the bar , it's kind of a small restaurant. But it was nice cause we got to talk to the bartender and she told me the best drinks to order and some have won awards. I love the decor also and the name - Somewhere I think that was kind of quirky and cool. I wanna go back , now I'm getting hungry as I'm typing this. This might just be our new go to place after/ in between shopping in Rehoboth!
