I am not from the area and was in the mood for acai bowls and was between Juicebox and another place. When trying to pull up directions, the map was not loading for the other restaurant that was my first choice. Taking it as a sign I put in the directions for Juicebox instead. I am so glad we went to Juicebox, because when walking in I knew it was the place for me! Even though I was originally in the mood for acai, I ended up ordering the Salad Sampler. My dad ordered the Boyfriend sandwich and the Mango Madness smoothie. The girl taking our order was friendly and seemed like all the workers behind the counter were working efficiently. The interior of the restaurant is small and there are some tables outside, but it seems like this is a great grab-and-go place. We took our food to go. The salad sampler was so much prettier and fresh than I had imagined. The vegetables and fruit were incredibly fresh, the dressing was tasty, and the chicken salad was fantastic. I saw you could buy containers of their goddess chicken salad, which is definitely something I would consider. My dad loved his smoothie and enjoyed every bite of his sandwich. None of the fillings were lacking. If I have the chance again, I will surely be back to Juicebox, as there is still so much more I would love to try from the menu! I only got a coffee, but I loved my experience at Juice Box! I love their healthy options, like sugar free vanilla flavoring and coconut milk. The coffee also comes with coffee ice cubes. Juice Box is filled with health food and snacks, ranging from full meals to on-the-go options. The woman behind me raved about the chicken salad that she was picking up for lunch. The Ocean View location is close to the Assawoman trail, so you can grab a juice or coffee and go for a beautiful walk. There are also cute touches, like a water refill station and free bread butts. Very very good sandwich, coffee and juice place. The chicken salad is delicious with green goddess sauce and the ingredients all taste very fresh. It's always fairly crowded in there, but the service was good and quick. They have a good system to get things out as quick as they can. This food place off the beaten path is quaint and welcoming. There's ample interesting items on the menu but my review is based solely on the juice I tried. I've been using a masticating juicer now for a couple months and the veggie juice I ordered was very good and similar to what I make except it seemed a little diluted. My main complaint is that $8.50 is outrageous for a drink made with common veggies and some ginger. Maybe they should look for different suppliers for their veggies that don't charge so much. I do know that veggies can be very expensive depending on where you buy them. read more

We have been going here weekly at least 4 times a week. Ride bikes over all the time. After today never again. Today they were having trouble getting orders out and they were extremely frustrated to the point they yelled at customers. 100% unacceptable. It is not the customer's fault you are understaffed. Many restaurants have this issue. We even waited outside to give you plenty of time to fill our order. When we came in and our sandwich was finally ready, I asked about our coffee and the lady went off on me. Really? It is not the customer's fault you can not get orders out correctly or in a timely manner. Not our fault you do not know how to run a business. The behavior of the "owner" or "employee" not sure which was completely unacceptable today. You lost a good customer. You won't care at all. The juice box is overpriced for what it is. We liked going to their women-owned, locally owned business. Today was beyond upsetting no one should treat customers the way she did today. No one. It was like she was doing all the customers a favor by doing her job? Like I said they won't care the owner will not care so I can spend my money elsewhere and you should too. If anyone should have been annoyed today it should have been all the customers who got horrific customer service. Because before me she was already complaining about customers who were upset at how long orders were taking. We went back two times during out trip and would have gone on our way home but they were closed :( We popped in for a healthy lunch on our first day and were greeted by very friendly employees who explained a few items on their menu and made suggestions. My husband and I both made our own juice selections - beets, kale, spinach, apple, lemon and ginger for me, but there were a lot of choices if you just want to go with one of theirs. I had the "best kale salad ever" - with a lemony vinegrette which was good and my husband had a wrap. The next day we came back in the AM and got coffee - Americano for me and Bulletproof for him. He also got a PB/Chocolate protein shake to go. The coffee we knew would be great since they serve Zeke's! Heard a little bit about the owner who is a mother of two and this is location 2 of three. This place is typically a successful go to, however these last few months Juice box seem to have been lacking in quality of their product. Was a customer there maybe 10-15 mins ago and paid $40 for an order that was seemingly half asses. One of the orders was messed up and the rations seem to be much slimmer than usual for the price paid. Cute little shop en route to Bethany Beach. They sell wraps and bowls in addition to coffee, smoothies, and juices. Juicebox also sells local produce, honey, and baked goods. They brew Zeke's coffee (local baltimore company) and have been adding coffee cubes to iced coffee long before Starbucks. The juices are refreshing and the staff are more than happy to make recommendations and serve up samples of whatever they have on hand. Not sure what they do with all the juice pulp, but I hope it doesn't just get tossed in the trash. read more

Awfully long wait to get just a juice. I waited half an hour - just ridiculous. They should let people know when they are running that far behind.
