This was our first visit to Kristina's Kitchen on the corner of Old Mill Road and Central Avenue in Oceanview Delaware. If you are someone like me who has an anziaty problem take your meds before going to this excellent place. There is so much to choose from, so many good things to eat from sandwiches, wraps, cooking, muffins, cakes and so much more, the coffee is excellent and they also have a good tea selection for tea drinkers. The staff is all friendly and helpful very pleasant to talk to. The atmosphere is real cool from sitting outside to sitting inside in a few different rooms all nicely done, very comfortable atmosphere. This place is not a very big place so it may seem crowded but it is not, the staff keep everything moving nicely and the place is clean. During the summer months it is busier I was told but I was also told that it can be busy all year long. Love the food, love the coffee, love the staff, love the vibe If you are someone that has a hard time making choices your are in for a fun treat because there is just enough to make you try something and maybe also take something home and then you will be hooked and you will go back. read more

This place was a big disappointment. At first glance, it is a cute coffee bar with pastries and your normal coffee fare. However, [[HIGHLIGHT]]The iced latte was not iced properly and the ice melted by the time we got in the car.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cranberry muffin at five dollars was a big disappointment. I would say there were three cranberries in the entire muffin... Pretty moist, but not up to par. We also tried the old bay, egg salad. Eggs were not all the way done... Kristina's has great vegan treats and food. Their black bean burger wrap with a pickle on the side is tasty; the burger is filled with veggies and the wrap has lettuce and an excellent sauce. Their side of potatoes has sweet potatoes giving it extra flavor. They also have delicious vegan pot tarts that are giant sized and filled with fruit, my fav is the cherry. Their food tastes good however you can only get a sandwich their way. If you order Bacon well done, with eggs, no butter on a scooped and toasted bagel you will receive uncooked bacon & eggs on an unscooped untoasted bagel with butter! The second time we ordered asking for a scooped bagel one of girls turned to the owner with lots of attitude and said we're not scooping today are we?! We don't have time to do that, we're not doing that today. Taking the time it took to complain about it - it could have been done. So I took their excuse for a sandwich home microwaved the bacon to get it crispy, scooped the soggy buttered bread out, toasted the bread and thought not bad but for all that I'll just do it myself. So now, every morning I get exactly what I want exactly the way I want it and we're never going back again. ;) read more

Nice place to stop on your way home from the beach. Just don't come expecting a full-service restaurant. Kristina's serves good coffee, baked goods, and hot food. What they don't have are plates, real silverware, or many places to sit. There are a few small tables and three picnic tables outside. It's a popular spot, and these can fill quickly. However, if you want to grab something for the road, then this is worthy of your consideration. Perhaps the best part is it's almost exactly one hour until you'll get to Vanderwende's on your way to the bridge. That gives you plenty of time to convince yourself that you're ready to stop for ice cream. read more

What an amazing breakfast and lunch spot hidden away from the main part of the beach...We absolutely enjoyed trying the chicken salad sandwich (they have a chicken salad variety without walnuts available in their new menu) and the Veg Head Breakfast Quesadilla. They also have local coffee available from Swell Joe Coffee in Lewes, and a wonderful selection of flavors to add to the coffee. We tried the vanilla and lavender vanilla and they did not disappoint. This is now my new favorite breakfast spot at the beach. Even though it's a little further away from the main downtown area of Bethany, it is worth the drive for friendly service and good food. There are not many places that do the whole cafe thing right but Kristina's knocks it out of the park. Everyone is very friendly. Their menu has something for everyone - the bagel sandwiches are made with real eggs and toppings, the smoothies or thick and fully of no junk and the pastries are worth it ;). Not a bad local sandwich place. Unfortunately the tast of the food is bland. I got a chicken burrito that had no sauce or overall flavor. My wife got a tuna fish that she said tasted bland also. Made a quick stop to check out this small business and I was very surprised. They have a wide variety of menu items including coffee, smoothies, pastries, etc. We ordered a lavender iced coffee and a tropical smoothie. The iced coffee was good and we really liked the flavor. The smoothie wasn't the best and kinda tasted bland but they also had to start over as they made a mistake so I'm thinking it was just off a little. The pastries looked really good as they had a great selection to choose from including Gluten free and keto options. I'd recommend stopping by and I'll be back to sample more items. read more

Haven't had lunch here yet but if the breakfast is any indication then midday offerings should be dynamite. Staff: warm, friendly greeting and after my second visit they even called me by my name. Recommendations are detailed. Not your typical "it's all good". I had the Super Nova bagel sandwich strictly on the description of the staff. Love that! I absolutely suggest placing your order online. The wait time for food is based on things being freshly made so give them 20 minutes head start and they will even run food out to you car. Just call and let them know you have arrived. Oh. I should point out that the place is tucked back from the main road and sits next to a very nice nursery. As a landmark, the entrance is just through the traffic light that controls traffic heading into the Giant grocery store and shopping center. read more
