It's a small little place, but as soon as you walk in, you feel a little calmer. It's beautifully decorated with many plants and gets some great natural sunlight. I was the only customer there, early on a Thursday, which made it even more peaceful. The two staff working were super friendly and made me an excellent acai bowl. They did not skimp on the peanut butter! They have some great options, but you can also customize your own which is what I chose to do. We had a good conversation, and I was able to explain my concerns and what led to my experience. He was very understanding and told me that the next time Im in town and would like to return to give him a call directly. I appreciate a manager who is willing to reach out, listen to a customer, and try to make things right. My original review was based on my experience that night, and I stand by what I said, but I also believe in giving credit when someone takes the time to address the situation. Traffic kept pushing our lunch later but I didn't give up. Glad we didn't! Staff is awesome, they set a table up for us outside the front door to accommodate our dog. (They even brought him a bowl of water) Equally importantly, the food is delicious! My wife had the hummus and we could tell they made it themselves, nice and fresh! I went with pork souvlaki over their salad and a side of lemon potatoes. The pork is seasoned perfectly and is so tender! They serve it with a creamy dressing that is sublime, the kind of thing you remember for a while. The lemon potatoes were great and also benefited from a dip in that dressing!! Wish we lived nearby, will have to settle for stopping every time we pass by!
