What a hidden gem in Rehoboth! We finally tried Indigo after years of visiting Rehoboth and were so glad we did. The service is awesome and the place is clean and spacious. The food is delicious and honestly just such GOOD Indian food. The only lowlight was they forgot our raita which the menu said comes with each entree and when we asked for it was surprised it was charged in the bill. The highlights were pretty much every other dish. Chicken jalfrazi was tasty and saucy. Shrimp marsala was a little on the sweet side but still yummy. Eggplant curry was perfect. Garlic naan was delicious but the star for me was the crisp lentil bread. So crispy and smoky and paired excellent with all the sauces and dishes. Plus, each person gets white basmati rice and a side of chickpeas for FREE. Can't beat that!

Wow I waited way too long to try this place. Being that it's on the first block of the avenue I just figured it was a gimmicky "Indian" spot. It's not. We started with the non-Vegan snacks which included shrimp, a sausage-like meat and chicken with peppers and onions. It was so delicious. Im a wimp when it comes to spice level so it was nice to eat a very heavily spiced dish that wasn't spicy at all. My husband got the lamb Tikka and I got the lamb Rogan Josh. They were so delicious with plenty of sauce and the rice served on the side. The garlic naan was also perfect. We enjoyed dessert too including the rice pudding. The best thing about this restaurant was the service. A few different people stopped by to make sure we were good and everyone was so kind. We will definitely be back.

If you love Indian food and you want it while you're at the beach, this is a good spot to come! My friends and I didn't have a problem without a reservation, however we did come on a week day. We ordered 2 orders of garlic naan-- yum! Shrimp saag-- yummm! Chicken tikka yumm, it has a sweeter taste than the majority of ones I've had. Channa masala- chickpeas are tasty! 2 orders of samosa since its two to an order. They were tasty and large in size! I would definitely come back, even though dishes are a little bit pricier.

Beyond delicious from the Garlic Naan to the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala, if you're not eating here you're missing out! Will definitely be back

We got the samosas which was really good and they give you these crackers with different sauces complimentary which was nice. They constantly refill your water which I loved! Place was very clean and food came out fast. I got the butter chicken, it was good and portion was huge and I liked it came with rice and these delicious vegetables. My only complaint is that we said level 7 spicy and it wasn't spicy at all.

The food here was amazing! Everything from the dips at the beginning (especially the peppers) to our wine and entrees was great. I was stunned by how tender and delicious the chicken and sauce on the chicken tikka was. Our server was kind and attentive and the restaurant itself is very elegant inside. It looks like a quaint little restaurant from the outside but don't underestimate this spot. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I spent a week in town for our 9 year wedding anniversary. The night of, we had planned to go to Henlopen City Ouster House, but after walking in and hearing how incredibly loud it was, we decided to go to Indigo instead. I cannot begin to describe how glad I am for this outcome. We had an absolutely amazing meal. For one thing, the atmosphere was great. Not fancy, but cozy and quiet and perfect for a conversation. Also, service was excellent. Prompt, friendly, but never hovering. Finally, and most importantly, the food was delicious! My wife and I love Indian food, but we are picky. More often than not I find the food at a random Indian place to be underwhelming. Not the case here. The food had an incredible depth of flavor and a solid kick (we ordered our dishes spicy). Some of the best Indian food I have had in months if not years. Will 100% be back, and I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area.

We chose this place for late lunch after a day on Rehoboth Beach. It's on the main strip nestled between a popcorn shop and a lemonade stand, all of which is surrounded by souvenir shops, other restaurants, snack shops, and plenty of people watching. We were the only customers there so it was very quiet. So quiet that my sister decided to take my two toddlers on a walk while we waited for food. They unsurprisingly came back with a small tub of popcorn. The food was fine. I had the lentil soup and the chicken tika masala. It was well-made and beautifully plated. It wasn't the best most flavorful food I've had in my life but it tasted how I expected. This was a reminder that Indian food is my husband's favorite, not mine (and unfortunately he wasn't with us). Neither of the other adults at the table (my mom, sister, nephew) had ever had Indian food so I was tasked with introducing them to the experience. I don't think my sister or nephew liked it (even though they were the ones to choose this option of the 3 presented).

The atmosphere is very nice inside; it's off season, so it wasn't busy at the time that we ate. While I'd agree with some of the reviews that noted the staff may not have the best English, they were incredibly attentive and made the experience outstanding. The food was very good, although it wasn't necessarily the most flavorful biryani I've ever had. I enjoyed the heat level of my food, however, my mom asked for very mild food and did end up with probably a medium heat level that was a bit uncomfortable for her tastebuds.

This gem in Rehoboth is near the boardwalk on Main Street downtown. The place has nice decor, white table clothes and beautiful tin pendant lights with bells on the end. We were promptly seated. The crackers with sauce appetizer that is placed on each table was nice; loved the dipping sauces. We ordered a few apps which were fantastic. For dinner, the prawns, butter chicken, Rogan John Lamb and rice dish we ordered was divine! They do ask how spicy you want the dish-so no worries if you can't handle or don't like heat. My favorite surprise of the evening was a sweet, warm carrot pudding/purée with chopped nuts, and a rice pudding. Both were great but the carrots were on point!! My husband, who hates carrots, could not get enough! Highly recommend for well made, authentic Indian food! Oh and the service was incredible!

Fantastic food! Was expecting standard Indian fare, and this was definitely a few notches above. Friendly service too. Loved it.

Once again, we enjoyed ourselves, thoroughly! It was a truly ENJOYABLE dining experience! Gracious and attentive service, pleasant and relaxing ambience, beautifully served dishes, and our choices were exactly what we'd expected, from our past carry-out experiences, them to be: excellent! They strive to deliver a really fine product, and, for us, they deliver! Thank you, I.A., and may you have continuing success! Oh, ONE "but"! But, when you re-print your menu (both on paper and on-line) PLEASE render it more legible! Terrible choice of paper/print colors - we had to use our phone-flashlights to read the miniscule print!

"How can superior authentic Indian cuisine be found in Salisbury?" We walked into the generic strip mall entrance highly skeptical. At lunch time on a weekday, there were too few customers to instill confidence. We stayed anyway and: Wow! Our initial impression was wrong - dead wrong! FOOD In DELMARVA: land of crab cakes and fried chicken - this place stands out for being both different and surprisingly good. Photos of our food tell the story better than our words. We tried a good variety to get an overview. Everything was top-notch. Portions were generous for us two seniors - we took most of our meals home. BTW - leftovers remain delicious reheated at home! SERVICE Attentive and professional. We especially appreciated learning this was a family business and family members were present. We never had to signal for more water, we were asked if our meals were satisfactory and/or if the experience could be better. We could think of no improvements - that is surprising for us. AMBIANCE Starched white tablecloths and napkins, subdued music, and fragrant aromas. You could probably grab a quick lunch here, but it seemed the kind of place you'd want to linger and talk. I'd take clients here for a business meal, or family for a special event and feel confident in a quality experience. Romantic too if you want an exotic experience. Restrooms were clean and accessible. Parking was ample and free. The day of our visit, a new reporter and camera person were interviewing staff. It seems only a matter of time before this place gets the attention it deserves after being open only three months. We'll be back!
