I ordered the falafel pita with fries as well as grape leaves. The falafel pita was a WINNER. The falafel is so soft inside with a perfectly fried exterior. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely go out of my way to order more of this falafel. Overall the pita sandwich was delicious and well sauced. The fries were standard fries that my toddler enjoyed. The grape leaves were good but a little pricey. I know grape leaves are a labor of love and they were delicious. I probably would try a different side in the future to get a little more bang for my buck. The person taking my order was so kind. In addition to the amazing falafel I enjoyed the hospitality and was surprised to get such a warm welcome from a business in a mall. If you have the desire for Mediterranean food on the go, this place will not disappoint (I ordered them through DoorDash because it was raining like crazy). I ordered the beef and chicken kabob combo. The meat was nicely cooked, delicious sliced, and arrived still warm enough not to have to reheat in the microwave. It was served over deliciously flavored rice, a small bit of salad in the side, and a few small pieces of soft pita bread. My wife ordered the salmon kabob combo. It was comprised of two decent sized pieces of nicely cooked fish coated in Mediterranean spices. It was also served over rice with a small side salad and a few pieces of pita bread. We also ordered the crumb cake and the Greek jam tart. The crumb cake was a good sized piece for the price, and delicious. The jam tart was quite possibly my favorite part of the entire meal. It reminded me of what it would be if you combined a pie and a cake with strawberry jam inside of it. Absolutely worth trying and the price. I definitely suggest this place to anyone hankering for some Mediterranean flavors but don't feel like eating out to do so.

So while this was a convenient option during our Ocean City trip, I can't really say the food was a great value. Beware though! When I tried ordering online, there was some ridiculous charge added on, like a service fee or tip. It was almost 25-30% of the order, and there was no way to delete it. Ironically, they even had an option to add more tip on top of that. Sooo, I cancelled and just walked up to the counter to order. Easy enough since my hotel was a block away. But, still outrageous. Overall, it was a decent meal and I was glad to have something different from pizza and other boardwalk food. Everything is thoughtfully sourced,local organic eggs, incredible Middle Eastern-style yogurt, fresh-baked sourdough, avocado toast and some of the best breakfast croissants I've had anywhere, not to mention they made perfect Lavazza cappuccino with coconut milk. The quality is unmatched in this downtown beach area . This is not your typical Ocean City breakfast café. It's the kind of place you'd expect to find in a larger food city, with simple ingredients elevated by chef Boutchia from South Africa, who stopped by our table to say hello .. Every meal I had was consistently excellent, and I can't recommend it enough. Side note ( One of the unexpected pleasures of my visits was seeing the owner, Peter Elias, so actively involved in the day-to-day operation. After decades in business myself, I was surprised to see him personally running food at Bai Tee. Then later that evening, I saw him at Oyster & Scales. It wasn't until afterward that I learned he owned not only those two restaurants, but Spain Wine Bar as well.
