The food is amazing. It feels as though I am back in the Middle East, specifically Amman, Jordan. Exactly the same. The food texture, grilled vegetables, Meat, salad, rice, is perfect. The employee (might be owner or manager doesn't matter), is of course knowledgeable in answering questions but is so hospitable, respectful, and just nice. Picked up food to go from OC kabob and wasn't disappointed. I got an order of falafel, which comes with pita and tahini. I also got a side of rice and tzatziki. My only complaint is that they have a falafel platter. Aside from that, I was very pleased with my meal. The falafel was cooked really well and had good seasoning. The pita was the perfect texture and the rice was nice and fluffy. And the tzatziki had great flavor too. Service was quick. They are a little pricey but not horrible. We used to dine here regularly B.C. (before COVID), then they relocated and tonight we returned. Nothing has changed thankfully other than being in a different shopping center. There's plenty of seating or you can carryout and all the employees are personable, gracious and helpful. We started with sharing Makdous (stuffed eggplant with walnuts) for appetizer and it was excellent. The picture is with a couple already missing as i was SO excited to dig in almost forgot to take my picture. We both ordered the Chicken Kabob entree which comes with 1 skewer of chicken, 1 skewer vegetables, rice, salad (mainly cucumber & tomatoes) and pita with Tzatziki (yogurt) sauce. Everything was deliciously flavorful. Vegetable skewer was fresh, wonderful tomato & cucumber with a light olive oil and vinegar dressing, chicken was tender (although, next time we'll order an extra skewer to share) and the rice was made with something that just made it richly enjoyable. We definitely will not wait another 4 years to return and will put OC Kabob back on our regular visits. read more

I wish I could give this place a 10 out of 5 stars. AMAZING! The staff/owner is incredibly friendly and they provided the best service. We wanted more food after originally ordering, and he insisted that we stay seated/he could bring us what we wanted and we could pay before we left. So sweet!!! The lamb kabob is absolutely delicious - tender and moist, and I love the seasoning that they put on the rice (they had it flown in internationally). My partner got a kabob sandwich and had to order a second one. I wish this restaurant was closer to where I lived because I would frequent it on a weekly basis. This place is a hop, skip, and a jump from our place. We wanted a little appetizer for our home baked meal and settled on the appetizer trio of hummus, baba ghanoush, and three stuffed grape leaves. All were really tasty, though the portion size is quite small for a shared appetizer unless it's just two people. Of the three, my favorite was the baba ghanoush so I would order just that next time. We got it to go, and it slid around on our walk home which was ok with us, but not a pretty picture. read more

The food here is delicious and fresh, with generous portions. The menu items are reasonably priced. We ordered vegtable platters, kafta platters, and falafel. Platters come with rice, salad, pita, a vegtable skewer, and a meat or veggie option. The staff were very kind, and accommodating. Can't wait until the next visit! read more

If you want delicious kabobs, rice, Mediterranean salads, etc... you've got to come to OC Kabob. My family has been coming here every time we visit during the summer for the last 5-6 years and it somehow seems to get better every single time! We can't get over just how good the marinade on the chicken tastes and the kifta kabob might be the best in the country , it really is that good! But what's really the most pleasant surprise are the drinks they serve. Their drinks are as good if not better than any specialty cafe can offer. You HAVE to try the Spice Chai Tea and the Banana Caramel Latte, they're just incredible! Service is also outstanding and the staff here will always go out of their way to make sure you're happy. We ordered takeout for 10 and it was excellent!!! They helped get it to our car. The hot food was hot and ready as promised. Report on the food: Not a morsel left from any of the kabobs - we tried them all, and our quesadilla eaters loved the Greek quesadilla. We rounded out the meal with a few orders of pita, hummus and tzatziki. And finished with a sampling of desserts to pass around family style. You won't want to miss the baklava. The food, service, and ambiance, are all on point. I got the tzatziki and chicken kabob. I highly recommend both. I ate it all. The man who served us was very friendly, he even gave me extra pita bread to help finish it off. O M G ! Literally just got finished eating my to-go order. I put my fork down and picked up my phone to Yelp. We are in town for a dance competition. Dear husband ate here yesterday and raved about it. I then said, hey, go and get me some of that Kebob place for dinner. And wow. I wish I ate from here yesterday AND today. First off, the grape leaves are phenomenal. But my meal was the star. Skewer of chicken Kebob, skewer of veggies. 2 pita pieces, tzatziki, veggie salad and rice. Friendly little place with delicious fresh food. Inexpensive but excellent quality food.

I work right down the street from the place and I pass it walking all the time....today I was starving lol they had the door open so as soon as I walked by I took a whiff of delicious food and immediately walked in. I was greeted by a very friendly guy that told me I could sit in (he even let me drink my big gulp from 7-11), I ordered the beef kabob....usually I like my steak medium rare he told me it was cook through but it would be good. I trusted him this meal did not dissapoint...I do wish I had more pita bread (I'll order a side next time) but everything was delicious and fresh(from the salad, to the charred veggies) and the beef was super tender and juicy 10/10 definitely !!! We wanted to try something different of all the times we have been to OC and decided to go for Mediterranean. Wish we tried this place earlier! It's so delicious and the food is very fresh. The grilled skewers come with a generous portion of salad - which we love - and pita, tzatziki sauce and rice. I really like that it's one meat skewer and one veggie skewer. Good balance in our diet! Ordered an extra grilled chicken skewer to try and a falafel dish. All delicious. We can't wait to come back the next time we vacation here. The food here was 10/10. The kafta kabob had ton of flavor, juicy and went perfectly with some white rice. We also had the beef and shrimp kabob which were equally good. Service was also excellent. They also serve coffee, chai etc. So we'll be back. You can order the kabobs as an entree that comes with rice and salad. But if you want to try a few different ones you can just get the skewers and get a side of rice. My husband and I both ate and still had rice left over but devoured the kabobs. read more

Our meal was delicious!!! I ordered the kafta platter and my husband ordered a gyro with a side of rice. The kafta kabob was perfect - flavorful, cooked perfectly, lean meat/not greasy. The rice was fluffy, hot, and flavorful, and the Tzatziki was good. I got a side salad and it was very watery in the bottom, but the lettuce, cucumber, and tomatoes were fresh and it tasted good. My husband loved the gyro. The side of rice was huge! In OC I always have different expectations when it comes to restaurants as they are always way overpriced, hit or miss food, and mediocre service. My wife ordered food from here, i picked up the order and witnessed the cook / cashier and the only one there touching the food with his hands. He took the chicken in his palms after cutting it and placed on pita, He gets my fries, uses the bowl to place them in the container and proceeds to PUSH all my fries down with both his hands!! Why in Gods green earth will someone think it ok to put their hands all over something someone is going to eat. I told him how i cant eat that food now because of my OCD, no care in the world. He tells me that he washes his hands. ( not ok) Use gloves man!! If you have OCD like me, keep it moving, no clue how the food taste because my brain wont allow me to eat something someone manhandled. read more

We had sampled sone kabobs which were delicious . Our appetizer was masa with pita bread , humus and babaganous they were delicious. The kabobs came with lemony white rice. Our grandson was allergic to soy and we were told that the kabobs had soy . So the child had fried chicken strips and French fries. When I looked at OC kabob and their menu I noticed that the French fries and fried chicken strips would be possible for my grandson. We were grateful that the server told us about the possible us of soy sauce in the kabob. All in all we had a good dinner read more

ALWAYS amazing, personable service and fantastic kabobs/food. Dining area is clean and lighted well. This place has the best hummus I've ever had, and I eat Middle Eastern/kabob A LOT. We will visit here every single time we come to OC for a filling, healthy and quick meal. I honestly wouldn't mind eating here daily on our trips really lol. I have never experienced a wait here, which with 2 kids is exactly what I'm looking for (since all the other restaurants are completely overpacked and wait times are insane).
