Tucked into a strip mall in Ocean City, Maryland, this Thai restaurant offers many of our favorite dishes. The menu was not extensive, but we all found something that we liked: Tom Ka, Pad Thai, and Pad see ew. They had Thai beer, but sadly no Thai iced coffee. The place is decorated nicely, although for some odd reason they were playing jazz music over the sound system. Service was good - we'll definitely be back.

Discount if paying in cash Family owned and operated gem in uptown OC. Soft music plays overhead while dining. Seating is clean and comfortable. It's a Typical Thai menu with some good additions. The rice is perfectly steamed. I'm used to panang curry with onions, potatoes and carrots which were missing from my dish. Replacing this was green beans and red pepper. That was different but I kept an open mind. The curry was mild but tasty. The Thai Iced Tea was right on point. I have loved all my meals here and the Service is great.

Thai O Cha was such a good find in Ocean City for authentic Thai food that was reasonably priced and amazing! We really enjoyed the friendly service along with the wholesome atmosphere and clean interior. Our favorite dishes were the appetizer platter (especially the chive cake) and spicy drunken noodles (the Thai spice was TRULY spicy unlike some other spots that claim to be spicy and it was absolutely delicious). I loved the charred smoky flavor that both the drunken noodles and pad see ew had! However, I did think there could be some improvement with the pad see ew because it was lacking that classic sweet soy sauce flavor. Maybe more sauce should be added? Overall, definitely going to be a spot that I am coming back to when I'm craving Thai food in Ocean City!

4.0/5 Overall 1.25/1.5 - Service The service was very warm and welcoming. I'm not sure if they know Indians are going to choose vegan menu but she just asked if I'd like the vegan menu, which I loved. Nothing bad to say about the service other than she had wrongly entered a vegan order with Chicken but she apologized and got it fixed. 1.0/1.5 - Decor The setting could get a refresher. But it wasn't bad at all. The tables and booth were kept clean and inviting. There are smaller art pieces around the room as well. However, being in a nondescript shopping area, they've done well to keep the inside looking inviting. 1.75/2 - Food We ordered all vegan choices of the following. Panang curry, Broccoli Lover, and Drunken Noodles. The quality of food ingredients seemed decent. We asked the drunken noodles and broccoli dish to be mild for our son to eat while the Panang curry to be spicy. They delivered. I usually like really spicy drunken noodles but these mild ones still had enough flavor to enjoy. Baby corn, zucchini, carrots, and fried tofu were going well with the overall flavor. I would pass on the Broccoli lover dish though next time. It was a bit sweet and more watery rather than a thick coating of sauce. Also, initially they brought the broccoli lover with chicken and being vegetarian, my wife had gotten put off by it. However, the spicy Panang curry was delicious. There were green beans, tofu, and peas though the peas were all the way at the bottom so make sure to scoop them up or you will find only peas at the end. The curry was balanced nicely with the hot and spicy flavor with the sweetness of coconut and other ingredients. It's hard to find a good vegetarian friendly spot in Ocean City so I really enjoyed this experience. Thank you.

Ordered take out and while it was ready promptly and staff was lovely when we picked up, the meal was just OK. The restaurant itself was small but cute. The good parts of Thai O Cha were the Thai iced tea and the Tom Yum soup- delicious, packed with flavor, the combo perfect for a chillier night! The drunken noodles we shared were more like lo mein flavor wise (soy sauce being the predominant taste, and without the holy basil/thai chili/peppercorn flavor profiles), and the fried tofu quite soggy. My partner ordered the mix veggie stir fry which he said tasted mostly like soy sauce as well. Portions were small for the price. I was keen to try a curry and maybe that would've been a better option. Don't think I'd head back to Thai O Cha aside for the glorious Thai iced teas!

So glad I went on yelp and discovered this gem! The facility was very clean, very welcoming from staff and was impressed with the upkeep, even with the menus. Ordered the crispy spring rolls and the chicken massaman curry. Everything is cooked to order! Very fresh. Will definitely eat here again!

WHAT A HIDDEN GEM!! My husband and I decided on Thai food for dinner and what a great idea this was! I'm always kinda nervous whenever I see Thai spicy and having it be not spicy. WE ACTUALLY GOT EXACTLY THAT! I ordered Pad Thai with tofu at the second to highest level of spicy and my husband got Drunkin Noodles with seafood, Thai spicy (the highest level of spicy). I had lots of tofu and the flavor was well balanced. My husbands meal had lots of vegetables and plenty of seafood, all well balanced. When I went to pick up the order, there were people dining in as well as others picking up like myself. You want delicious Thai food, look no further because this is your answer! This has been added to my GO TO list.

Looking for some Thai food while at the beach, this place is it! We tried the appetizer platter which we enjoyed the summer rolls, spring rolls and dumplings. The cream cheese wontons weren't my favorite because they were sweeter to my liking. Really enjoyed my Broccoli lover with shrimp that was Thai hot! I love things spicy! My friend had the massaman curry with beef which she enjoyed with mild spice level. She also enjoyed her Thai iced tea. Had lovely service on a Friday about 1pm! We actually had the place to ourselves! Great spot to get your Thai fix!

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. And she was right about the coconut espresso martini. It was delicious! She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

We saw some good ratings and gave this place a shot and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who helped us make the right selection. As my wife was fasting, she went with a small fruit bowl, my son chose shortstack pancakes, and I tried the veggie hash. The fruit bowl was decorated well and had plenty of variety. From blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelons, apples, bananas, and others, all the fruits were fresh and perfectly ripe. The pancakes were very large and just one would have been more than enough for two people it seems but they even added berries for my son on them. The veggie hash had lots of potential. It was cooked well, however, lacked seasoning. It seemed slightly bland and I had to utilize ketchup to give it some identity. However, the quality and variety of veggies inside was great. Overall, I am giving four stars due to the fact that the prices are high, but the service and quality are worth it; especially for such a close location to the boardwalk.

I was promptly greeted and seated even though it seemed quite busy. My server arrived quickly and took my drink order, and brought chips and salsa. The chips were hot and well salted and the salsa was good. I opted for the Birria Tacos listed as one of their premium tacos. The food came out quickly given how busy the place was. I think they were slightly overcooked. The tortillas seemed freshly made, and the au jus was delicious. The beef itself was okay, and there was less cheese than I expected. It was still a good dinner. As far as the restaurant itself, I was seated in the bar area, and overhead were old dished light/fan fixtures that looked pretty dirty. They might was to remove those as they just collect dust which eventually falls/drifts down. The air vents weren't looking very good either. These really kind of affect his the place could be perceived. I'll still leave 4 stars although I almost dropped to 3. There aren't half stars to give. A little attention to the facility might leave a better impression.
