Seaweed Salad
Cari B.

A M A Z I N G!! Friendly service and top notch sushi chefs. Our starter was the seaweed salad which as the best I've ever had. We ordered the susbi dinner and Wild Alaska roll. The sushi was fresh and the rolls are extremely creative. Not your traditional rolls. Definitely coming back!! Tip - if you want to eat in then make a reservation as the place is small.

Everything we ate here was soooo good. The sushi rice was perfect and all the fish was fresh. Love all the roll combos especially the Shell shocked and the Dynamite. 100000 recommend! Super nice sushi chefs who were interactive behind the counter. Shoutout to Michael for answering all our questions.

Food and service impeccable! 1. Dynamite 2. Ocean City 3. Number 7 4. Lady in Red 5. Spicy Tuna 6. Caterpillar The intimate feel and ambience was lovely. We had lunch. Probably much more romantic at night but the phone kept ringing for dinner reservations, so I am glad we came early since we prefer the quiet and avoid crowds.

This was hands down the best sushi we have ever had! Every roll was delicious with so much flavor. We ordered the red dragon, poke Mon, sandbox, spicy tuna, lady in red, number 7 and a tuna roll. Highly recommend them all but the red dragon was out of this world!

Unagi dinner

Excellent food, friendly and attentive wait staff. You can't go wrong coming here. The scallops were top notch. Thank you and we will be back.

My friend and I were hungry and wanted to get some sushi--- tried out this hole in the wall place and it was DELICIOUS!! We tried the edamame and the shumai which were both solid choices. The shumai was beautifully done and super tasty with the dipping sauce. I had the spicy tuna and we split the Black Widow . Super good! Amazed that our waiteress could balance taking care of so many people and take phone calls! I will definitely come back to this spot!

Every OC trip, I stop by here. It never disappoints whether you eat inside or choose to carry out. 10/10 vibe. The owner is super friendly and we even found out we're from the same hometown! The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Smokey Bandit roll. Looking for some deals? Go on their Facebook. They're always having some type of discount, especially Sundays and Mondays. I will always recommend this place!!

Sushi cafe was awesome!! Delicious sushi/sashimi and beautiful plating. Don't miss this diamond ... and make sure to get reservations too.

We found this little hole in the wall sushi place in a strip mall while searching for local sushi places! There are only a couple of tables- which fill up fast- and a sushi bar but it is so worth the wait! I enjoyed the edamame, shumai, shrimp tempura roll, black widow roll and spicy tuna roll. It was all so fresh and flavorful-- possibly the best sushi I've ever had! Our waitress was working super hard acting as waitress, hostess and taking take our orders but she did a great job! Our service was very prompt and we walked about completely satisfied!! Pro tip: we got there right at 3pm when they opened for a late lunch so we were seated right away.

Chef dinner for two

What restaurant can truly live up to the hype on Yelp? Sushi Cafe. I've had good sushi before, but this place is a level on its own. And beyond the food, this tiny unassuming little restaurant in a strip mall feels like hidden treasure. Every one that was working there felt like family - if someone was having a bad day you'd never know because they all radiated love: for their work, each other, and the diner. It's not just a job for them, it felt like a calling. I am so grateful they were able to squeeze us in as a walk in, with around an hour wait because we came at peak dinner time. It was so worth it. Pro tip: call ahead and make a reservation and work your schedule their availability. I would eat here at least once a month if I lived in OCMD. And it's so good - I'll make the 2 hour drive when I'm craving it.

We started with a tasting board and chose three cheeses and three meats. It comes with a ton of additional accoutrements. It's a little expensive but worth it to try some fantastic cheese. I had the Cacio e pepe with scallops that was on special. I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. For dessert we did a giant doughnut ice cream sandwich which was the star of the show. Paired with an espresso martini and I was extremely happy to finish off dinner! It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.

Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in OC and can't wait to come back in a couple months!

The addiction wings are award winning for a reason. I did not order some of my favorites tonight, but are worth mentioning. The franchos, wrinkly green beans, and any of the wings. I often just order the franchos and wings to split with my husband as our entire meal. There is also great indoor and outdoor seating options. When they expanded and put the bar on a different side, it opened the restaurant up a lot and made it so much more enjoyable. Very kid friendly with good kids meals. Nothing fancy like some places try to do. They stick to kraft Mac n cheese and white bread. Your kids will be happy too.

This is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay, perfect for a romantic dinner or celebration. We shared the Beet salad which was nicely brought to us on two plates and was quite fillings. The Smoked Cheddar Pierogis with sauerkraut and fried apples was delicious, not heavy or smoky. My husband had the Petit Filet mignon then a creme brulee for dessert which was small, thin, light, and wonderfully creamy. It came topped with strawberries. The indoor dining area is elegant, comfortable and romantic. You can watch the sunset but at the table by the windows, you may be a bit blinded by the sun until it sets and it got rather warm in the sun. It was worth it - watching the birds fly into the marsh and hop around. Previously, we have also sat outside on the small balcony at the high two person tables and high chairs. There is a better view of the bay from inside the restaurant since the restaurant and apartment building does not block the view on the sides. The calamari was cooked well but probably my least favorite thing I ate here. The Caesar salad dressing was some of the best I've ever had. 8 of the 10 of us got the short rib dish and I don't think anyone had any complaints, it was VERY good.
