Really solid Chinese food. Singapore rice noodles is our favorite (curry). Their garlic sauce dishes are great because they are loaded with vegetables, choose your protein (we've had chicken and tofu). Lunch specials are a great deal. Delicious food! Bright and cheery atmosphere. Very quick service. We decided to eat there as they had a few tables. We will be back.

This is absolute the worse Chinese food ever. I ordered Mei Fun and Ho Fun . When I picked up my order . The total is just around $25. I was shocked and think to myself. Holly cow! That's so cheap. And suddenly in my head said. "You get what you pay for". I got home and open my food and they looked so bland. And of course I can't wait to taste it. Omg, they were horrible. We were disappointed this week with our takeout. We've been here a few times in the last year and the egg rolls were terrific. Unfortunately both the General Tso's house special chicken and the chicken lo neon were bland. The lo mein chicken was tough and it really did have s much sauce. Service was quick . I want to give this Chinese take-out another chance because their service is good and fast, and sometimes, like two out of 6 times, they a great Shrimp Egg Roll or a great fried rice, but most of the time you can get a half a shot glass out of one roll, today their small beef lomien had a half dozen small pieces of beef three shreads of bokchoy and a half cup of oil and taste less, I have always called them and expressed my frustration and so far no change. I think the next time I will open my food there. read more

If I could give this place a lower rating I would. Food is horrible and really declined since the last time I was here. Wonton soup noodles are all mushy and broth is strong. Chicken wings over cooked in old oil. Got the sesame chicken, well chicken must have cooked in the same oil. Husband's dish was not any better. They took the freshness out of their food and replaced it with nastiness. Rice was very mushy as well. Save your money not worth the trip! We are vegetarian and we loved the diverse full flavored tastes available at China Garden. We ordered Gen Tsao's Bean Curd, Bean Curd and Broccoli, Vegetable Lo Mein, and they even let us order Sweet & Sour Bean Curd (not on menu). We also ordered spring rolls. They were all really good. The Sweet and Sour was excellent. The spring rolls were freshly made, the cabbage still squeaked! The vegetables were quality fresh ingredients and the bean curd was fried/grilled to perfection. Very nice. Took my order over the phone. Pick up in 10 minutes and yes, it was ready for me. Food nice and hot. The Singapore Mei Fun is a favorite of mine and this was delicious. The fried dumplings needed a few more minutes in my air fryer - they were huge and well stuffed. I am visiting my grandfather in Lewes and we decided to order out Chinese food last night. We called in a large order for 4 people with appetizers, soups, and entrees. When the order was placed the restaurant told us it would be ready in 20 minutes. We went to pick up the order after 20/25 minutes. The restaurant was swarmed when we got there. The order wasn't ready and we had to wait an additional 15/20 minutes for the order to be ready. They were very apologetic for the wait. They weren't expecting such a busy rush. When we got home we discovered that one entree was missing. Looking at the bill we discovered we hadn't been charged for it. The food that we did receive, however, was great! And as a bonus, they threw in extra fortune cookies :) read more

Every place I had ordered from that has General Tso's Chicken has the Hot Pepper symbol next to it to indicate spicy. I keep asking for more spice and every time I got it, it tasted like a Honey Barbecue sauce. I asked for it spicy at China Garden and they are the only place that it was spicy. There was also a lot of chicken in the dish. Many places load it up with broccoli. I was full for dinner and still have some for tomorrow. read more

Ordered our food. Picked it up, got home to discover we were missing an item. Called to let them know and they said it wold be ready in 5 minutes. After getting there to pick it up they tried charging us for it!! We got 3 lo mein dishes and they were all gross. Definitely try somewhere else!! read more

Went through Lewes on the way to Rehobeth looking for a Chinese place ended up eating here because it was close to the highway. The place was clean enough and there was nobody inside but a couple carry out orders. I asked the young lady if I could sit down and eat and she told me to go ahead ,And I put in my order. I ordered the combination platter Kung P.O. chicken pork fried rice eggroll and hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was not bad but it could've used some green onion chives, Which the waitress got from the kitchen. The egg roll had a kimchi type taste, Which was not all together bad, just a surprise. Finally the main course was not actually Kung Po chicken, but some sort of candied chicken probably left over general tso's. Nothing was horrible nothing was very good either either way I gave it a solid C+ mainly for cleanliness and the courteousness of the waitress. read more

Never again. Sometimes one item is not good but when everything you ordered is poor in taste and freshness, it does not merit another visit from me. Generally I can judge by the won ton soup if a place is good or not. The won tons had no stuffing in them and the noodle part was so limp it was like mush. Tried this place tonight and the food is excellent! This is a rare find at the shore. It's a busy place and that tells me also the food is worth it. China Garden will feed my family from now on. Loved it! Tried 9/17/2015 and food was OLD and tasted very bad. I called and informed the owner. I live to far to go back. We could not eat it and the little bit we consumed is making our tummies sick. We had general tso chicken that you couldn't chew and the red sauce was thick as paste. Pork egg rolls were dried up inside and tasted bad on the inside and fried outside (old oil). Veg fried rice was very dry and tasteless. Two months ago they screwed up my order but the food was good. Quality has really gone down at China Garden. Have been going to the 5 Points Chinese restaurant in Lewes for years, and last week bought Chicken Chow Mein and the wife had Cheese WonTon. Got ill shortly after eating the Chicken Chow Mein...the pork in the Fried Rice tasted awful. Wife said the Cheese WonTon she always purchased in the past was definitely not fresh. Took all the food back and they would not return the money. Didn't argue with them, (not worth the 12 bucks), but will never ever go back to that restaurant! read more

They have some of the best egg drop soup EVER! There dumplings are good too! They sell iced tea (sweetened) in these deli style containers. It looks weird packaged that way...but the tea is very good and only $1 I bet it's 40 ounces. They do not deliver but it's worth the drive. The lunch specials are super cheap too! read more

Went here tonight for takeout, the food was tasteless ordered tsao's chicken no spice. Chicken and garlic sauce could not taste any garlic. House special fried rice had nothing in it and I mean I couldn't see anything but 2 small shrimp. I will not go back . Also dirty for God sakes use some cleaning fluids. read more

Getting of the ferry we found this Chin. Restaurant. It was a great surprise. Although the place did not look too nice, the food was great. We eat Chinese at least once a week. This one was very good. IT was lunch time so we benefited from a lunch menu prices, which are very low compared to NJ were we live. Very recommended restaurant. read more
