The chicken sandwich tasted like a mouth full of curry and the beer was warm. Not a great first impression.

Fun atmosphere and good food. We visited on a Saturday…read moreearly evening and even though it was crowded we had a short wait. They have a good selection of beer and I tried the Grapefruit Shine which I really enjoyed. I had the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich. It was a fried chicken breast on a roll with bacon, cheese and Old Bay aioli. Three of us ordered this and we all thought it was really tasty and my husband enjoyed his Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. But be warned it is messy. So yes food was good so why the four stars instead of five unfortunately it was our service. Even though we ordered our appetizer, a Bavarian pretzel ahead of time it did not come out until our meal. And yes this can be timing from the kitchen. But we hardly saw our server, her section for the evening was so spread out that she was not attentive to us. We will still go back just hoping our service will be better.

And because we are a Responsible Professional Company we were on-site 15 hours early. Imagine my delight when I saw that the receiving building shared a lot with a brewery teehee. Truck stop tacos for dinner? - I think not. Now in other reviews you know how I feel about breweries without food. Not the case here - pizzas, sandos, pretzels, salads, wings. And the beer list?? Multiple sours for me, hazy IPAs for he, and pumpkin flavored beer to usher in autumn. After that huge setup all we got were fries and beer lmao. The point is we COULD HAVE gotten more if we wanted it. Fries were hot and crispy. The pumpkin beer was incredible. And of note, the actual restaurant space was huge. With Rona numbers on the rise, we opted to sit outside on the huge patio. All in all, def worth a visit especially if you're in nearby Assateague or similar attractions and are tired of crabs lol.

So we drove 30 minutes from OC last Sunday night, arrived about 6:30 to what seemed like a closed business. No one in the front of the house bar and foe a newcomer, didn't really know where to go. We heard laughter, but didn't know where and looking down another room, looked like it ended at another set of doors. We turned around again and then ran into an older couple leaving who told us, service is slow, they had to hunt down their waiter, but the nachos were good and filling along with avoiding eating outside as the gnats were terrible. Despite that ominous warning, we decided to try it and luckily as we wandered closer to the noise, ran into an employee that acted like a manager. She was eager to please, seat us and tell us that if we minded the bar noise (NFL game with boisterous fans) she'd move us. We didn't mind as it was better to be in a lively bar scene than a dead dining room. Service was definitely slow despite the emptiness of patrons. I decided I wanted to try the featured salmon I saw from the Foodie Friday segment. It sounded and looked so good with a Thai sauce cooked in the wood burning oven supposedly. When it was served it didn't look as I remembered from TV and whatever wonderful flavors the telecaster tasted, was definitely not what I experienced. Basically the salmon was ruined by over indulgence in a salt bath. The vegetable side was lacking anything but onions and a few slices of squash. At least there was a healthy serving of rice, which I thought was good, little sticky, but I'm a huge rice fan anyway you serve it. My husband (the salt king) ordered the Chicken Alfredo. He liked the chicken which tasted like it was cooked on a grill and shredded on top of the pasta. The Alfredo sauce was tasty, but he felt it was overly salty. I did try it after my salty salmon and my taste buds must have been salted out as I didn't notice that comment, but I enjoyed that meal in FLAVOR MUCH better than the salmon dinner. Restroom was appalling! There was NO TP, paper towels strewn all over the floor for some reason. Thank goodness they had paper towels. They do charge different pricing for cash vs credit.

Great craft beer and a relaxing atmosphere! My family stays in Selbyville for our annual vacation…read moreevery June and usually venture up to the Indian River Inlet and down as far as Assateague Island. On a Thursday mid-afternoon we were on our way back to the house from the Indian River Inlet and were in the mood to relax with a beer. Luckily, Bethany Bay Brewing was right on our way home so we took a little detour. The parking lot was pretty empty but to our surprise it was rather crowded. The beertender, Mack, was right there to greet us. She was very nice and helpful, did a great job explaining their tap list, and even gave us recommendations for other local establishments to try out. She also gave us an opportunity to taste any beer before we ordered a pint which is much appreciated! My dad got an IPA while my mom and I got flights (5 pours for $15). I enjoyed all of the beers I tried, especially the Blueberry Blonde and Blood Orange IPA. I would have been happy ordering a full pour of any of the beers I had in my flight (I also had Riptide Double IPA, Dark Seas Chocolate Stout, and Birds Nest Lager). They also provide complementary popcorn to their guests which is a thoughtful gesture. They have seltzers, wines, and ciders available for any non-beer drinkers out there, and I did see a sign signifying discounts for veterans and cyclists! If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular here. Next June I will definitely make it a point to stop in and have another flight of 5 beers I didn't try during this visit. We were very pleased with our short visit and were very happy we made the decision to stop in on our way home.

Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in OC and can't wait to come back in a couple months!

The only flaw was that the sauce they put on it made the fish a bit soggy on the majority of the deep fried fish. And the batter was a bit bitter. The citrus shrimp taco with flour was good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The toppings and seasoning blended very well. The cabbage gave the taco a great crunchy texture with each bite. The tacos were accompanied with chips. Alex our wait staff had a pleasant and friendly personality. He was also able explain the menu items in a helpful and informative manner. Imani another staff was very personable. I like the atmosphere. A upscale casual dinner with a beachy feel.
