But be warned it is messy. So yes food was good so why the four stars instead of five unfortunately it was our service. Even though we ordered our appetizer, a Bavarian pretzel ahead of time it did not come out until our meal. And yes this can be timing from the kitchen. She was eager to please, seat us and tell us that if we minded the bar noise (NFL game with boisterous fans) she'd move us. I decided I wanted to try the featured salmon I saw from the Foodie Friday segment. It sounded and looked so good with a Thai sauce cooked in the wood burning oven supposedly. When it was served it didn't look as I remembered from TV and whatever wonderful flavors the telecaster tasted, was definitely not what I experienced. Basically the salmon was ruined by over indulgence in a salt bath. The vegetable side was lacking anything but onions and a few slices of squash. At least there was a healthy serving of rice, which I thought was good, little sticky, but I'm a huge rice fan anyway you serve it. My husband (the salt king) ordered the Chicken Alfredo. He liked the chicken which tasted like it was cooked on a grill and shredded on top of the pasta. The Alfredo sauce was tasty, but he felt it was overly salty. I did try it after my salty salmon and my taste buds must have been salted out as I didn't notice that comment, but I enjoyed that meal in FLAVOR MUCH better than the salmon dinner. Restroom was appalling! There was NO TP, paper towels strewn all over the floor for some reason. Thank goodness they had paper towels. They do charge different pricing for cash vs credit.

Bartender Trevor offered a sample of their malty nitro center of gravity english mild draft beer (4.5% ABV), and I loved the notes of toffee, chocolate, and toasted bread so much that I ended my dinner with two full glasses. Thanks to excellent service from bartenders Bill and Trevor, my solo total came out to a reasonable $36 before tip. On my next visit, I brought my family of four on a Wednesday around 6 PM. We were instantly accommodated at booth table 53 on the right side of the restaurant. They had recently updated their regular menu, and I decided to try the Korean beef bowl for $24, which features soy marinated sliced steak, vegetables, greens, an umami glaze, a fried egg, and spicy mayo served over basmati rice. Our server, Cate J., took wonderful care of us, and the total bill for the family was $152 excluding gratuity. Whether for happy hour or dinner, we will absolutely keep coming back.

We always order takeout and they graciously save close parking spots for carryout orders. The online ordering allows for easy modifications and simple ordering. We grabbed a smorgasbord of flavors and made the entire family happy. The Fried Chicken meal comes with famous Delaware chicken and some fun twists of Gochuchang sauce and honey butter rolls. The fried food traveled well and is expertly packaged. On their website, they advertise Beer Battered Shrimp - and by simply calling in, the manager was able to add an order to our meal! Luckily, Bethany Bay Brewing was right on our way home so we took a little detour. The parking lot was pretty empty but to our surprise it was rather crowded. The beertender, Mack, was right there to greet us. She was very nice and helpful, did a great job explaining their tap list, and even gave us recommendations for other local establishments to try out. She also gave us an opportunity to taste any beer before we ordered a pint which is much appreciated! My dad got an IPA while my mom and I got flights (5 pours for $15). I enjoyed all of the beers I tried, especially the Blueberry Blonde and Blood Orange IPA. I would have been happy ordering a full pour of any of the beers I had in my flight (I also had Riptide Double IPA, Dark Seas Chocolate Stout, and Birds Nest Lager). They also provide complementary popcorn to their guests which is a thoughtful gesture. They have seltzers, wines, and ciders available for any non-beer drinkers out there, and I did see a sign signifying discounts for veterans and cyclists! If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular here. Next June I will definitely make it a point to stop in and have another flight of 5 beers I didn't try during this visit. We were very pleased with our short visit and were very happy we made the decision to stop in on our way home.
