A cute place! They have a back room with board games. When I came, I sent the kids back there to play the games. They have tasting flights of up to 6 per flight. It was a great way to sample all their beers. They had a lot of fruit beers and sours. They also have great smoothie type beers. Definitely a stop to go to when you are in Ocean City or Berlin!

Everyone here was very nice and the assortment of beer was varied and appealed to all of us. The taproom was cute and welcoming and lunch was very good.

Better than average beer selection. I love the fact that they do 5 oz pours. Yes, the flight card has six spaces on it, but you can get whatever you want. (Pro-tip, the boxes for flights hold three and six selection counts) The place is massive and has a huge beer garden outside. There is a sign for Uno Mas Taco, but I am not sure how that works since I was only here for the beer. The bar tender was super friendly, but a little hard to understand with his super gruffy voice. I cannot complain about that but the speed metal, or whatever he was playing, (and was it really on vinyl behind the bar?!?!) was a little too much. Otherwise, open to 11:00 PM in an otherwise sleepy town is awesome in itself. Add the great beer, 5 oz pours, friendly service, and you have a winner.

Stopped here after a day at Assateague. Great selection of really good beers. The food selection on-site is also great. The staff are also very nice and helpful. You can't go wrong with a trip to Burley Oak!

Delicious beer to go!

Great brewery stop on way from Dewey Beach to the Outer Banks. Really loved the Lawn Chair Larry. The place is well run and just a nice place to grab a beer while in Berlin. My only regret is that we didn't have more time and I should have bought a shirt or hat: super cool gear : ) Enjoy!

Absolutely love the beer that comes from here so I decided to visit the place itself while visiting OCMD. They have a little speakeasy to try their liquors which is a cool vibe. They also have a huge outdoor area, which is probably a great time, especially on weekends. The taproom is a chill vibe with a little merch area off to the right where there's togo beer as well. Overall the place is super clean and I love that there is a water station. There were two bartenders on and one was rather attentive but truthfully I felt that the locals have precedent over anyone else. The major issue I had here was the one bartender was behind the bar drinking while her very young baby was in a car seat perched on a high top table with little to no supervision. Extremely trashy and wrong to the point where my young kids kept asking where the baby's mommy was.

Burley Oak has one h*** of an atmosphere. People definitely come here to have fun, soak up some sun and drink cold, freshly poured BEER! Each time I visit, there seems to be some sort of event--either live music, lawn games or some sort of private event. I've even seen a potbelly pig wander outback on a leash, partying it up. Anything can go down at Burley Oak :) Beer is tasty! I never have been one for sours or smoothie types, however, this place nails it. Oh, and VERY cute staff (wink, wink ladies).

Love this spot! The beer selection is extensive -- with so many sour options available (my favorite!) You can order a flight with up to six beers. I tried a slew of different sours and some of the summer wheat options. All were really delicious- especially the strawberry sour and the carrot ginger sour. I appreciated how unique the offerings were and how many choices were available. We called ahead and were told that we could bring our own food to the bar to eat with our beers. There were many take home options and a lot of nice merch to choose from with the brewery logo. Both indoor and outdoor seating were available and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Such a fun and quaint spot!

Came in around lunchtime, and there were plenty of tables open. Got a flight with their fruit beers in the J.R.E.A.M. Series, but also enjoyed the Shandy they had on draft. Looks like they have events like Yoga or music, and food trucks on occasion. Very cool, rustic interior and friendly service make for a great time. If you're in the area for the little town of Berlin, it's a short drive over but worth the effort.

Came as it was a highly rated brewery and the flavors and the selection of beers exceeded my expectations. The staff is very nice and the vibe of the restaurant is so great to enjoy on our Friday evening. The bar is so large that even though it was busy everyone was really spaced out. Even though they don't have food we got pizza next door and got to enjoy it with the flight of beers we ordered. Would love to come back on a nicer day to be able to enjoy the outdoor seating. My only complaint was the terrible musty smell in there. I'm not sure if it was there because it had been raining all day or what but it was really unpleasant.

We liked this place enough to walk away with four 4-packs of beer in cans and two t-shirts and we drove back for a second tour during our visit to the Assateague Island and Chincoteague island region. Taproom is beautiful and they also have a nice outdoor setup. There is plenty of parking and the service is excellent. But let's talk craft brew: 1. All the IPAs are excellent, but the aboriginal gangster brings serious lemon and lime flavor to the party at a reasonable 6.6% ABV. 2. The bunker c porter is amazing. Tons of chocolate and coffee flavor in a clean/dry package at 5.9% ABV.

Terrific Maryland local brewery with an extremely large list. Their distribution is not super wide in other parts of the state so it's a must visit. Lots of added outdoor space! Terrific ipa and doubles. A good Imperial stout (fuzzy wuzzy) and then the sours they call JREAM. Great place in Berlin and one reason why I stay there!

Nice seating area where you can chill

Lovingly restored venue with a great bar and plenty of seating. Service was wonderful with helpful staff making draft recommendations and offering taste samples. Food was great. After dinner we sat by the fire and played games they had there.

Ample seating outside which is great for beautiful, sunny days and they routinely have live music while we're there. They also host corn hole leagues if you're interested in signing up. During our most recent 4 day stay in Berlin we stopped at Sinepuxent Brewing twice. We tried multiple beers including Brew Cat Stout, Captain's Lager, Big Juicy Van, and NGL. All the brews we tried were very good (nothing I wouldn't have ordered again) but everyone's favorite was First Mate - lager with lime. Definitely the greatest lime flavored beer I've had. So refreshing and perfect for summer. The beertender was also so nice, and he seemed to have no issue conversing with customers and answering our questions. Never once did I get the sense that we were annoying him. They don't offer 4 or 6 packs (we would have loved to take home some smaller cans of the First Mate) but they do fill crowlers upon request. We are heading back to the area from Jersey in a few weeks and I'm already looking forward to stopping back in.

We started with the cheese board and the crab dip. ( more bread or crackers for the crab and cheese board would have been nice) We moved on to the cheese fondue with one skewer of protein per person. 2 chicken and two scallops. My son found the chicken cooked enough, I found it a tad undercooked. The cheese fondue was very good, but I think it was "split" giving it a slightly lumpy texture. There were plenty of potatoes and veggies for four on the platter. We HAD to have dessert, but as stuffed as we were , we ordered for 2. There was more than enough for 4. The melted chocolate was divine!!! We all loved it and will be back again. It was a wonderful evening.

It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.

Great craft beer and a relaxing atmosphere! My family stays in Selbyville for our annual vacation…read moreevery June and usually venture up to the Indian River Inlet and down as far as Assateague Island. On a Thursday mid-afternoon we were on our way back to the house from the Indian River Inlet and were in the mood to relax with a beer. Luckily, Bethany Bay Brewing was right on our way home so we took a little detour. The parking lot was pretty empty but to our surprise it was rather crowded. The beertender, Mack, was right there to greet us. She was very nice and helpful, did a great job explaining their tap list, and even gave us recommendations for other local establishments to try out. She also gave us an opportunity to taste any beer before we ordered a pint which is much appreciated! My dad got an IPA while my mom and I got flights (5 pours for $15). I enjoyed all of the beers I tried, especially the Blueberry Blonde and Blood Orange IPA. I would have been happy ordering a full pour of any of the beers I had in my flight (I also had Riptide Double IPA, Dark Seas Chocolate Stout, and Birds Nest Lager). They also provide complementary popcorn to their guests which is a thoughtful gesture. They have seltzers, wines, and ciders available for any non-beer drinkers out there, and I did see a sign signifying discounts for veterans and cyclists! If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular here. Next June I will definitely make it a point to stop in and have another flight of 5 beers I didn't try during this visit. We were very pleased with our short visit and were very happy we made the decision to stop in on our way home.

The point is we COULD HAVE gotten more if we wanted it. Fries were hot and crispy. The pumpkin beer was incredible. And of note, the actual restaurant space was huge.
