Most of the ingredients falls of while building the sandwich, and the workers don't bother to add them back on, but you can't blame them because the strategy of building the sandwich is poor. In addition, they charge $1.29 for a teaspoon of onions, which again, falls right off beforeit hits the panini press. The same amount of avocado they put on a half a sandwich is the same amount they put on a whole sandwich. I will never return read more

Especially when it comes to first visits to establishments I have been stalking but avoiding in fear of human to human food wrangling. So I went in tonight with my foodIe proclivities and the young women behind the counter were so kind, patient and informative. They helped me order a salad and soup to meet my vegetarian needs, and the food was dee-lish. The menu is filled with salad-well-works. I eventually had a Mandarin Chicken-less Salad with roasted broccoli instead of the poultry and a cup of their three bean soup (akin to my version of Chilli). Very clean establishment. Love my chicken salad with oriental sesame dressing! The crispy crunch of the potato sticks and the dried cranberries along with the sweet mandarin oranges will leave you wanting more! I swear that's it's like crack! How can salad taste ever so good and to me, its diet food!!!! I love the pick two option...you can choose from soup, salad, sandwich or panini. The portion size is very fulfilling too. The full salad and pick two combo comes with white or wheat roll and butter. If you order a full sandwich or full panini, the order comes with sun chips flavor of your choice. All drinks order are additional. I do have to ding off one star because of the very slow service at this location. Overall, it's pricey considering it's salad (mostly romaine lettuce) but I must say it's delicious when you add other toppings so it's totally worth it! At first I thought it was overpriced (especially since they use iceberg lettuce as filler) but it's very tasty and the other ingredients are of higher quality. It's good, but not great. Still, I think it's a decent place for a fast, filling meal and I would recommend it over the usual junkfood express options in the area. They are clearly trying to establish themselves as a healthy fast food alternative, which I find admirable, though I can't vouch for just how healthy some of the ingredients/dressings are. But some of the workers at south are downright rude.they don't have a problem making you feel like you're inconveniencing them by ordering a SALAD, even if you're the only customer in the store. My husband and I ate here and loved it!! We liked the style on how they made the salads. Your "green" base and then a variety of fresh items (e.g., beets, squash, tofu, carrots, olives). Fresh salads all day long. No matter what time I go in there, they are always replacing salad ingredients with fresh. Quiet and peaceful place to relax at lunchtime and after work. This was my first visit. We have 2 in our area; I visited the north Salisbury store. Was greeted nicely when I walked in. It was kinda slow so I was the only one there. I got their soup and sandwhich combo and I think was pretty good for the money. I will definitely return to explore the rest of the menu, but one thing threw me off. You have full view of the food prep area behind the counter, and THAT day, the place looked trashed. This saladworks is one of the saving graces of Maryland's eastern shore. The salads are huge, delicious, and anything but healthy filled with cheese cubes, croutons, egg, pepperoni but that is what makes them so great!! I like to do the "create your own" with a mixture of noodles and iceberg w/ green goddess dressing. The cost for these salads is pretty reasonable considering how large they are and the amount of goodies that you can put in them. Their soup is pretty delicious also. I recommend the Broccoli Cheddar. The owner, Erin (Hi Erin!), is super sweet. The dining room is always clean and a good place to hang out and read a book or study for awhile. read more

My first visit I had the Excellent Turkey Melt Panini. Turkey, bacon and cheese with rustic thousand islands dressing on great sourdough bread, generous portions of meat. This time I had the Buffalo Chicken Panini: chicken, mozzarella and buffalo sauce with bleu cheese dressing which was very good, especially considering I'm not a bleu cheese fan! I usually think Salad Works is a fool proof plan, but today I was sadly mistaken. I ordered my usual create your own salad. I asked for broccoli, the container was obviously empty with a few strands of broccoli floret left. That's what she put on the salad without even checking to see if there was more. I asked for chicken and she maybe put about 1 table spoon of chicken when I usually get more! The other woman working was looking at her like she was messing up but never corrected her. She may have been new but needless to say I'm paying $10.00 for a bowl of lettuce and creamy Italian. I will come back again just because it's one of the only places to get a healthy lunch in North Salisbury. I just think the staff may need more training. read more

I frequent this location a lot and it has always been good until today. I asked for a Fire Roasted Cabo Jack, with romaine and spinach, avacado instead of the roasted corn. When the preparer got down to where she was to add the fire roasted peppers, she said they were out...duh! This is what makes the salad. Suggestion: if the servers know they are out of a main ingredient in a salad; tell the customer. They may choose another salad. Also, when I sat down and started eating my salad I noticed I didn't have any spinach. I went back to the server and told her. She said well, weren't you watching me make your salad? What the heck...why didn't she just offer me the spinach she forgot? Who is waiting on who here! A little reminder: without customers you have no business. Not a very good experience. I think the little server needs a lesson in customer service! I will go back, but any more problems and the corporate office will hear from me.
