Decided to try the Philly Cheesesteak today, glad I did! It was refreshing to have a cheesesteak that had cooper sharp and a nice seeded roll. I passed on onions, peppers, and mushrooms bc I hate onions and I do not like mushrooms or peppers on my cheesesteak. Cannot find a cheesesteak like this in Salisbury, just disappointed that Delmar is such a trip from the bury. My only complaint would be that advertising I have seen on Facebook showed a lot more meat. If this thing would have been loaded with meat it would have easily been a five. For close to $17 it should have been heavier and stuffed with meat. That being said, it is definitely the best cheesesteak I have had around the Salisbury/Delmar area. Closest thing to Philly you will find! read more

Not bad. Had the wildcat pizza. A bit of a sweet sauce but still good. The fries were pretty good. I do not think I will ever have the fried mushrooms again. read more

Always fast & courteous service picking up take out. Ate in a few times and it was delicious.

Always delicious & great service!! The new Philly Cheesesteak & the Crabby Pretzel are amazing!!

I wish their food tasted bad. But it doesn't. It's just they really don't give a lot of toppings on their pizzas. It taste good but I'm used to getting toppings when I order and pay extra for them. Look at the most recent picture. Not impressed at all. read more

Delmar Pizza - 26 small pieces of ground beef. I'm not impressed. They have good pizza, but their toppings are really poor - Pizza Near Me - Delmar, Delaware

Me and my dad went there tonight. Was really good, considering the prices of corporate chains like Papa John's, Pizza Hut, and Domino's, it's not that much more, maybe even bout the same price wise. The decor, furniture, tiles, ceiling, etc gave it a unique look mixing modern and old esthetics into a beautiful blend of architecture. The waitresses are friendly, and very beautiful I might add. If you're a carnivore like me the meat lovers pizza is definitely worth it. read more

My wife and I have gotten take out from here for years. Went into the restaurant and dined in for the first time and enjoyed how fresh and delicious the pizza tasted. Our waitress made sure to visit us multiple times to check in with us and refill our drinks. We had a great time and plan to get take out or dine in again! read more

The only place know of that could mess up a ham and cheese sub. The tamatoes were mushy, sour, rank and made therank. Sour and mushy. I love the pizza! They are voted best pizza on Eastern shore! There's no such thing as just one slice with Delmar Pizza. They have the cheese /sauce ratio down and the sauce tastes perfect. The sauce is homemade, and the cheese is grated fresh every day. They use a lot of cheese on the pizza you NEVER need to order extra cheese on the pizza, and the crust is neither thick nor thin. The desserts baklava, rice pudding, tiramisu, peanut butter pie and cheesecake are a must. The Greek salad is so good with rice stuffed grape leaves (dolma) included and the best dressing (dressing sold to go). I only wish I lived closer to Delmar, and I would eat there more often. read more

I would like to start by saying my experience was filled with a rude and unprofessional employee. I will not go as far as to say names, but what this waiter did/said to me and my family was very disgusting. The food was very good. My only complaint would be the waiter. I was extremely disappointed with my experience. His comments and his attitude were extremely unprofessional. I had complained earlier in the day about some hurtful comments that were made towards my family. When I was leaving the second time he got in my face and thanked me in a sarcastic manner because he was not thrilled with the fact I had complained earlier in the day. I left the restaurant unsatisfied so decided to go back and speak to the manage. He asked me what was said and I demonstrated to him what was said and the actions that followed, he then told me I was being "too aggressive" just by showing him exactly what his employee had did to me. Which I find hilarious considering there was nothing wrong with what his employee said but when I said the exact thing I was in the wrong. I strongly believe you should hold your employees to a higher standard. The food was great but I will not be eating there again. Thank you. read more

I got a ranch wrap. The lettuce was bad in it and I asked for bbq sauce to be put in the wrap. The girl on the phone even asked the manager if that was allowed and they said yes that it was allowed and then I picked up my order and it didn't have bbq sauce on it at all not even a side of bbq which I said would be fine if they couldn't put it inside. The wrap also didn't have cheese in it which I'm not sure if I was supposed to ask for but every other place I've been to typically puts cheese in their wraps. The fries tasted gross. They out season salt on them which I typically like but they were overly covered in season salt. The girl on the phone seemed like she was new so I'm not going to get into how the ordering process was. But overall do not recommend. read more

I drive from Bridgeville to pickup pizza from here, because their pizza is so much better than everyone else's in Sussex County.

I won't be coming back to this restaurant. The service was poor, and they don't to listen to their customers. The pasta dishes have an excess of sauce, but they still taste pretty good. Normally, when I order pasta, I request light sauce, and that request is always accommodated. However, during my visit yesterday, I asked for light sauce, but when my order arrived, there was a huge pool of sauce underneath the pasta. I told the waitress that this didn't seem like light sauce, but she brushed me off and insisted that it was. Twice. She was completely dismissive and didn't even offer to take the dish back to have it remade. The way she was in complete denial was absolutely unprofessional. Terrible service. read more

Most of my review is a little bias because I've been going here for many, many years. Amazing food, great atmosphere, very filling, and affordable. If you are visiting Delmar, it is where I would recommend you go to eat!! read more

Love the cheese they use on their pies. Owner is there working this very busy location with what I believe is his son often. Talks to anyone that wants to talk to him. Very nice outgoing guy to the customer. Have had multiple catering orders from this place for events also and they are great for that. Salads are great from here as well. read more

The service was AMAZING!!!!! Our waitress was very overwhelmed because we had a larger party, as well as other tables. She managed to do a PHENOMENAL job for dealing with a lot of different tables for a Thursday night! 5 out of 5 for the service, kindness, and manners!! About halfway into our time here, our waitress had some not so nice people at other tables getting nasty and rude with her. The owner/boss got involved shortly there after and was VERY rude to her!!! I've never in my life have heard of someone be that mean to their staff!!! 0 out of 5 for how the boss treated their employee tonight! You should be ashamed of yourself!!! read more

I really love this place. We stumbled across it. It's in this random strip mall off the highway but what a pleasant surprise! The ambiance is pretty old down diner esq, nothing special. But the food is great! Limited selections, but it doesn't try and act to be anymore than it is - a neighborhood pizza place. Food comes hot and quickly. entire menu is pretty much variations of the same thing but again don't come to a pizza/pasta place if you don't want pizza or pasta! Extra points for gluten free crusts. Limited vegetarian options but they're there. read more

I'm not from Delmarva, but when I visit - I ALWAYS stop at Delmar pizza. Last time I was in Salisbury for a week and had Delmar three times. It's worth the drive. It's one of my top five pizzas of all time - and that's saying something! The crust holds up really well, the amount of cheese used is perfect and the toppings are great. The only thing I'd say is....order ahead because they get really busy on the weekend! read more

"Voted Best Italian Restaurant in Southern Delaware 13 years in a row!" Let's be honest; it's a neighborhood "Italian menu" place, comfortable with attentive staff. If you're within 5 minutes, and want a place where everybody in the family can find something, from salad to chix fingers to calzones, at a reasonable price, by all means stop in. "Voted Best Pizza on the Eastern Shore for 13 years in a row!" About the pizza......dough had no taste, no yeasty, floury smell, no rise; maybe due to baked in a chain-belt convection oven, just like Domino's. The sauce was a tomato thin, no salt, sugar, garlic, olive oil; cheese is the commercial blend, shredded, that tightens up when it cools, the pepperoni was amble. After ordering, find out you can request a thin crust pie. As "Best Pizza on the Eastern Shore".......comparable to chains that delivery read more

This is my number one pizza place on the Eastern shore. whenever I visit home, I always get their cheesesteak pizza with mushrooms instead of green peppers. The service is amazing every single time I go here. The pizza is consistently delicious. The pasta is equally amazing. Their house salad dressing is divine. I'll never leave the shore to come back to Georgia without making sure I get my Delmar pizza! read more

Delmar Pizza - Cheesesteak pizza with mushrooms instead of green pepper - Pizza Near Me - Delmar, Delaware

We often say that being close to Delmar Pizza is an added benefit of living in this area. It's true. The pizza is very good, the entrees are typically well prepared and delicious. Try the house dressing on your salad....you're welcome. Weak link is the sub rolls, at least the last two I've gotten. They weren't very fresh, and we all know the bread is the most important element of a great sub. read more
