We have ordered from Vinny's 3 times. Overall, we have been satisfied with the quality and prices of the food. The staff is friendly and the restaurant appears to be clean. Today we ordered The Italian Stromboli, Cheesesteak Quesadilla and Philly Cheesesteak. The Philly Cheesesteak would have been better if it had more cheese. In the past we ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Sicilian pizza. The pizza is the best pizza that we have had in the area so far. read more

I'd give it a 4.5 if I could, typical pizza parlor ambiance. Pizza is very good, I was very surprised. Good Pizza is one of the hardest things to find in Delaware. Vinny's is really up there, with the best pizza around. Price is very reasonable! Pie is usually ready when I walk in, good service read more

We order 1 or 2 "Big Daddy" pizzas every July when my family comes...It is quite good. They cut pieces in squares which are esp. great for kids ! You need to have a big trunk space.... read more

Tried for the first time recently. Pizza was underwhelming. Crust was dry and hard to chew. Toppings were sparse and tasted bland. Hope this was just an isolated experience. Other reviewers had better luck. read more

I love their pizza. Crust is super. This is definitely NY style. We did delivery and honestly everything was great. I'm a pizza snob and I loved this small Millsboro place. read more

Vinnie's pizza encapsulates everything I would want if I ever start a restaurant. Tucked right off the road outside of town, it is a true diamond in the rough. For sports fans, it is sprinkled with Philadelphia memorabilia which even a rival fan can admire. The owner, who I presume was taking orders, provides a homely atmosphere and offers great deals throughout the week. How can you turn down an $8 footlong chicken cheesesteak with a side and drink? Especially when said footlong was fresh and flavorful. You can even add whatever toppings so I rolled with fried onions and hot sauce (on the side). This delightful combo was exactly what I was looking for. I also bought the 2 for $5 slice deal. This deal is straightforward. Two big slices of pizza and a drink for $5. This was great since my friend and I both wanted to try the pizza. Unfortunately, I did not photograph the pizza but I gave it an 8.3/10. It was very good all around but just needed a tad more sauce. I have been to a wide variety of restaurants. This might be one of my favorites all time. It is not flashy nor is it a large sit down place. That is not a bad thing. The atmosphere around it screams that it is a place that welcomes all. Its harder and harder to fine places where you feel like family when you walk in. If you want to experience this same vibe, then look no further than Vinnie's Pizza. read more

Tried Vinnys Pizza for the first time today and was very disappointed. The crust was hard and dry, not easy to chew. There was very little sauce on the pizza, I couldn't even taste it. I really don't have anything good to say about it. Very disappointed to say the least. read more

Vinny's Pizza - Large pizza with sausage, peppers and onions. - Pizza Near Me - Millsboro, Delaware

New York style pizza, best in area. Great for take out on a busy day. No none sense place with great pizza read more

Trigger warning: The words "pizza" and "pineapple" will be used in a sentence below. The question after dining at any new to you establishment and eating one of its dishes is: would you have that again? On the pizza it is a yes. On the pasta it's a no. So Vinny's gets a mixed review from us. I had a large New York style pizza with extra cheese and sauce and with jalapeños and... pineapple. To some the sweet-tart fruit on pie is sacrilegious but I've always been on the pineapple belongs on pizza side. Back to Vinny's version I have to say it was pretty good. I enjoyed the dough base, the red sauce, cheese and my jalapeño/pineapple configuration. Tasty. The spaghetti and meatballs was good on the meat but the pasta was overdone. The entree came with a fresh salad (good) and garlic bread (meh). In sum--this is a good pizza joint to try. Would I have that again?: pizza yes! read more

The pizza was excellent. This is the NY pizza I have been accustom to. I al originally from PA so this was a great find. I have been back 4 times already. It's not a fancy place but worth the trip. If you want fancy then use their take out and eat at home. Enjoy! read more

Wow wow wow. Wide sliced pizza for me to fold in half and eat. Vinny's is off the hook good . The perfect sauce not sweet , the yummy cheese , and grease . super thin crust . the chew. fresh ingredients. Wednesday's special large pie $10 with $2.00 for pepperoni. don't judge a book by its cover holds true here . Take a deeper look and not judge what's on the surface. I would have never have stopped if it wasn't for Yelp! BRING CASH because that's all they take . there is a ATM machine in restaurant. If your a fan of NY pizza ...get your butt to Vinnie's ! I saw a calzone come out of the oven that looked so good that I wanted to forget about the pizza ... but so glad I didn't! I saw a jar with fresh garlic knots. Garlicky, buttery rolls made from stray bits of pizza dough. Yum. Next time. la migliore pizza read more

I can't eat at a place where the cook drops utensils on the floor, picks them up and places them on the counter. NOPE! I did have a cheese steak that day and it was dry, over seasoned, and the roll seemed old. Also, I think it is illegal to eat on the line as you make food. This was some really big fat guy. Never again! Stay far away. This is why they have a low score on yelp. read more

When it comes to getting NY style pizza outside of NY city, the choices are slim to none depending on location, especially the further away you get. In Delaware, there are a few spots that are pretty good, but this one is probably as close as you'll get to authentic taste outside of the City. Vinnie's isn't much to look at, whether you're inside or outside but it does have that pizza parlor feel and the items available, again, come as close to the mark you can get outside the City. Thin crust, well done, tasty sauce but not too much of it, gooey cheese of a high quality (which you can tell by the pull and lack of burn marks that are usually so prevalent on pizzas of the fast-food conveyor belt variety) plus a goodly percentage of toppings (plenty to choose from) to square inch, with a firm, crispy bite- all of it oh-so-good! Pizza isn't the only thing they offer; like most pizza parlors you can get meatball heroes, calzones, stromboli and a particular favorite of mine, garlic knots! They also offer deli style subs hot or cold (which I've never had so I cannot speak to how good they are) if that's your thing. There's a good number of salads on offer as well as appetizers, but I've not had either of those so I cannot attest to how good they are. Given how good everything was that I HAVE had, I'd say it is a safe bet you won't be disappointed. Drinks are of the canned and bottled variety, no alcohol that I can recall. This little pizza parlor is off the beaten path a bit, a little over a dozen miles from the closest beaches- but it is well worth the trip. We end up getting some pizza every time we visit Millsboro, which is where you'll find Vinnie's. I'm tellin' ya, you won't be sorry! Fuhgeddaboutit! read more

This is NOT Vinny"s that we all know and love. This business was sold and will never be the same. The prices increased and the food quality decreased!!!! WE MISS YOU VINNY read more

Pizza was good. And salad. But they forgot to on the pepperoni. And the crust was kind stale tasting

Good pizza and chicken parm sub..bring cash no cards here.. We took out didn't eat in so not sure about the service. read more

I will order to go next time because there were to many flys and tight place to sit.

Pizza is no where near as good since change in ownership. This was by far the closest pizza to what I grew up with in NY/NJ and now it's the same old soggy/salty stuff common around here. Also gone are the free loaves of bread and Philadelphia Eagles memorabilia that was a welcome touch. Signage is misleading as this is NOT the place established in 1995! read more

It's not the original Vinny's. New owners have different types of ideas for pizza. It's quite different and I will not eat there again.

Decent pizza ... but honestly can't give a good rating for my experience yesterday. The owner should contact me directly.

Locals this is not the Vinnys Pizza we know and love. Ever since Vinny sold the place I wont go anywhere near it. They increased all of the prices while changing the amazing recipe. Why eat expensive cardboard here when there are several pizza places within a 5 mile radius? And dont expect for your order to be right because maybe 1 worker max will be speaking English. read more

Based on the high reviews we read upon moving to the area, we expected a better experience. This is not a place to sit and enjoy a meal - there's only a few cheap tables inside and no ambience. The only drinks are sodas in bottles or cans from a cooler. The food was mediocre at best. Nearly every other pizza place we've tried has been better, so I'm not sure what draws people here. read more

I went to Vinny's for the first time last week. I had pizza. I would have gone back except I did not appreciate the way he treated his female staff person. I saw him being verbally abusive, abrupt and rude. For that reason I will not return. read more

Not much to look at (especially if you're eating in), but the best thin-crust NYC-style pizza near the beaches. Friendly service. Very reasonably priced (especially the daily specials), cash only. read more

Was shopping in the area and saw the good reviews and recommendations from my neighbors, decided to give them a try today. Ordered their Thursday special of 2 ex-large pizza pies with a 2 liter of soda for $19.00. The pizza was good, good crust and sauce, the best pizza so in Delaware. I didn't add any topping to make sure I get the full flavor of their basic pie and I wasn't disappointed. The place is small but they do have a few tables you can sit there and eat. Will return and try their cheese steak the next time. read more

This was our go-to for pizza since we moved from NY in 2021. Tonight, we ordered a delivery and got a call back that they were "out of thick crust" pizza. We placed the order online well over an hour in advance. We didn't understand how a pizza restaurant can be out of dough. We understand cooking methods vary, but no "thick crust"? Anyhow, they charged our VISA beforehand, so we've been debited for the debacle this turned out to be. A shame because the pizza got better under the new ownership--and the services with credit card payment option and delivery--but this incident creeped us out. We're dropping this place. What a shame. Very disappointed, but this was a bad sign for any quality pizzeria. read more

woof... this place is a little slice of NY heaven here in Millsboro. The pizza is the best around for miles including the beaches. The best crust and hot pizza oven cooked to brown bubble purrfection! Don't be fooled by the looks of the place because its the best pizza in southern Delaware! Half hour drive from Rehoboth on Rt 24 just outside town. read more

Tried a take out NY style Pizza at Vinny's. The pizza was good, plenty fo topping and quick service.

we had ordered the cheese pizza which was very cheesy. The crust was very good. We went for a late lunch we would go back.

This spot will forever be my favorite place to grab a slice. The food is so amazing!!! I have never had such a great pizza. This place really is a hidden gem!!! I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

I'm surprised I liked this place, it's a little hole in a wall, a real dive, but somebody on one of the Facebook sites I belong to recommended it as being good Philadelphia/New York type pizza, the big chain pizza down here is called grottos and they are absolutely horrible, this place really rocks, really good pizza and nice sweetness to it, not overly greasy, real good pizza would definitely go back read more

Loved the pizza on the first visit. Super thin crust. XL was only $10 on special. Posting white menu which has daily specials. I am really looking forward to trying the cheesesteak. read more
