    Amerigo Pizza

I decided on the Amerigo pizza this evening. Very good pizza but just a tad too much sauce on the margherita side of the pizza. No flop on the crust and overall a solid 4. I will definitely try other variations on my next visit.

The only pizza in the area with a vegan option which I am super grateful for. They do have a tendency to get very busy so make sure you place your order in advance! The workers are so friendly and kind. They let us know they were grateful for our business and always had a smile on their faces. As far as the actual food, it was fantastic. It's hard to admit it but I did eat 5 slices...not my finest moment but it does tell you just how good this pizza truly is.

Delicious ! We got the a regular pizza, Sicilian, and a calzone. Very happy. Will be back!

The pictures of the pizza looked too good to pass up. Being a hop, skip and a jump from where we are staying AND their late hours made this a no-brainer to try. Ordering at 8 pm on a weekday night was only a 20-25 minute wait. I like the pizza. The super thin, chewy crust is the best part. I'd give it 5 stars, but IMO, the sauce is too light. Makes the pizza kinda dry. But I'm sure may people may prefer that. The sausage was the pellet looking stuff, but larger. Still tasted better than the franchise pizza sausage. I was naïvely hoping they'd use raw sausage and the the oil cook in. All in all, I like the place. It's small and run by a couple. I don't mind paying a bit extra for quality and a small business. I'll definitely be back. Just next tim I will request extra sauce. Pepperoni with extra cheese is my crack. That is on my next visit!

Mushrooms on the 16-inch large regular pizza were from a jar, rather than fresh. Yuck! Pizza had a vinegary taste.

Excellent pizza if you don't mind ordering ahead. They can also make gluten free pizza which is great for my wife.

On a Thursday mid-afternoon we were on our way back to the house from the Indian River Inlet and were in the mood to relax with a beer. Luckily, Bethany Bay Brewing was right on our way home so we took a little detour. The parking lot was pretty empty but to our surprise it was rather crowded. The beertender, Mack, was right there to greet us. She was very nice and helpful, did a great job explaining their tap list, and even gave us recommendations for other local establishments to try out. She also gave us an opportunity to taste any beer before we ordered a pint which is much appreciated! My dad got an IPA while my mom and I got flights (5 pours for $15). I enjoyed all of the beers I tried, especially the Blueberry Blonde and Blood Orange IPA. I would have been happy ordering a full pour of any of the beers I had in my flight (I also had Riptide Double IPA, Dark Seas Chocolate Stout, and Birds Nest Lager). They also provide complementary popcorn to their guests which is a thoughtful gesture. They have seltzers, wines, and ciders available for any non-beer drinkers out there, and I did see a sign signifying discounts for veterans and cyclists! If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular here. Next June I will definitely make it a point to stop in and have another flight of 5 beers I didn't try during this visit. We were very pleased with our short visit and were very happy we made the decision to stop in on our way home.

We ate in, they have a few tables and serve bottled beverages. They do not have ice for the beverages. Seats were comfortable and after a short wait our food order came out. The Italian sub was really good with the Italian meats and EVVO garnish. They had Mortadella on it which I love. They use Liscios bread. The pizza was cooked very well, the crust was crispy and airy very tasty. However the toppings had a bite to them which we later found out was the Vodka sauce? The pancetta was crispy and spinach ok. In my opinion it could have used some more cheese. The pizza price was $28.50, a bit steep even for the resort area. I will have to try the regular with sweet fennel sausage for a definitive opinion.

As you can see from my more than ten past reviews over 4 years and my last review in August 2025…read morethis is now one of my top three happy hour restaurants during the off season. I will summarize my four most recent happy hour off season visits. We were first here at the bar with my six family and friends. Well finally the off season happy hour half price dinner entrees have finally returned here starting around mid October with pretty much the same entrees and menu as last year. They subsequently updated the half price entrees in early November. All items have pretty much returned here except for some new entrees. The good news is that at least two new half price happy hour dinner entrees were added including the surf and turf with espresso encrusted 4 ounce demi filet mignon with two skewered shrimps, yukon mash, tomato garnash with blue cheese in the middle of the tomato for $40 or half price for only $20. I never had espresso encrusted filet mignon, therefore I ordered and enjoyed mine medium rare. I could barely taste the encrusted espresso. I ended my dinner with my favorite Fiddlehead's draft honey porter for $6. My total bill was $111 with half price discount of $36.50 so my final bill was $77. On my second return I enjoyed my ahi tuna rice bowl with broccoli, ginger fried house rice, sprouts and ginger vinaigrette for $36 or half price for $18. My total bill was $72 excluding gratuity. On my third return I again enjoyed the espresso encrusted 4 ounce demi filet mignon, which I had ordered medium rare, but was over cooked to medium. I did not complain about returning my filet for a replacement, however I did show it to bartender Dennis. Next time I will order my filet rare. On my fourth return I enjoyed my usual cosmos and my ahi tuna rice bowl which was always properly cooked ahi style. Bartender Dennis always remembers I prefer a little extra spice, without me even asking for my Sriracha. Dennis recommended both of the above entrees. See my most recent pic of the new menu. Chef Cowan waved to me at the bar. Bartender Dennis served us very well supported by our usual excellent recommendations and conversations. Chandra and Cameron also said hello. The staff here are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. On Black Friday I purchased another $1k in gift cards for the off season from Off The Hook and Hooked in OC. Needless to say we will continue to return here for happy hour to spend our $1k.

We also totally lucked out without having a reservation and got two seats at the bar. The hostess was super nice and gave us plenty of time before a reservation was due at 7pm. Shout out to the two, super-awesome bartenders who made our dinner even more enjoyable. For a small restaurant, it seemed like they made 1000 drinks while we had dinner! I wish my phone didn't die and I would have had more pictures. But I'll tell you that the food here is amazing and you can see they really put a lot of work and care into every single ingredient. My husband even noticed the micro cilantro in the carrot tahini hummus! The ingredients are all busting with flavors. I had the swordfish, which was brown butter basted and very tasty and prepared with caramelized baby turnips & fennel- so good! My husband even noticed enjoyed his caesar and steak salad and we both ate every last drop. While we were kinda in the heat of everything.. busy bar and right next to the kitchen, the energy in the restaurant was amazing and you could tell the whole restaurant was working hard for the busy holiday crowd. I'm grateful we got those two seats at the bar. 14 Global is a wonderful restaurant with a scrumptious and ecletic coastal cuisine. Next time I will definitely make a reservation!
