Whenever I am staying to have a few drinks at Dewey Beer Co. I make sure to try a pizza at Pizza Machine. Their pizzas are small batch. Mostly 14 inches. Full of flavor and light and airy. It's my goto when I am staying in Lewes. Can't wait to try all the other flavors. So far the Chicken Bacon BBQ one is my favorite. Stop in and order a Pie and wash it down with a tasty Dewey Beer. read more

I was out and about tonight and decided to try Pizza Machine because the pictures in other reviews looked so good. When I got to the place, which is in a somewhat industrial park, the parking was a little tight so I had to go around the corner to another business that was closed and walk back to the business. When I went inside, it honestly didn't look like too much. The menu was a little bit confusing as far as how to place your order, so I told her I just wanted the 14-inch pizza with mushrooms and ham, which was the biggest size they make. While I was waiting for the pizza to be made, I was looking through their condiments on the counter. They had a whole bunch of crushed red pepper packets, but zero Parmesan cheese packets. I advised the employee who rang me up that they appeared to be out of parmesan cheese, which she later confirmed. She gave me a little bit of cheese in a container to take with me, although it didn't look like it was Parmesan cheese. When the pizza was done, I took it with me without inspecting it and went home. When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza looked awesome. They did not skimp on toppings, and the crust was just the way I like it...kind of thick with a little bit of burn. The sauce was tasty and there was certainly enough cheese on it as well. It was a good sized pizza for $19 (and no tax in DE), so no complaints. The girl who took my order was very nice and patient with me as this was my first time. I would definitely get pizza from them again. It was really good. read more

It was hard to figure out how many stars to give. Transparently I had only come here to pick up some gluten free key lime pies. We decided we might as well give the pizza shop a try too. Pizza It's not great but it's better than what you get at most other places in DE. The food scene here is wildly disappointing. I had cauliflower crust and my husband had regular crust. Neither of us were happy with our pizza and tossed them after a few bites at home. They were oddly heavy and just lacked something I can't quite put my fingers on. His was regular cheese pizza and mine was the Boujee Jawn. Wings Actually great! Some of the best here. I feel like everywhere in DE does their wings "hard" which is utterly gross to me. These were moist and sauced very well. Transparently I'd come back for them. Burrata I love burrata and I didn't finish this. The flavor combo was just too off for me. I think having a full arugula salad with the delicacy of the burrata was just too much contrast. Plus I really wish it had been tomato slices or halves and not diced up like pico. Idk, it's obviously hit or miss for most people. They seem nice enough, we just both agreed we wouldn't go here for pizzas again. read more

This place has great service and some of the best pizza in Georgetown. It's a small quick shop not that you can sit and have a meal, but the food is good and worth the take out. We ordered meatball subs, wings, cheese pizza pie and an Italian salad. OMG the salad was huge! The meatball sub was terrific as was the ready of the meal. The workers are also very pleasant. After attending an event at the Brimming Horn Meadery, by traveling companion and I needed to bring back something for the rest of our party. Pizza Machine has great reviews, and justifiably so. The two pizzas (pepperoni and veggie) we ordered where we quickly devoured. The employee we spoke to and interacted with was great, and it seems like this is a really cool spot. If we go back to Delaware next summer, maybe we'll get some pizzas and go to the brewery next door. read more

They made the pizzas very quickly. The added toppings I asked for correctly. There wasn't enough seating. Not great atmosphere.

Plenty of parking in the shared complex lot, even when an event is happening nearby. Make sure to watch your texts like a hawk, they won't give you a heads up that your order's ready even if you're standing right there as you wait. Honestly, at that point it probably makes sense to order ahead. We liked the mushroom pizza more than the Hawaiian, mostly because the Hawaiian pizza dough was still a little raw in the middle. We tried a slice of our friends' Margherita Machine, which was understandably not as good as the Shroomin'. I'm glad we grabbed some of the to-go seasoning packets (should've added some oregano from the shaker before we left), because all three of the pizzas were on the bland/under-seasoned side despite the nice amount of dairy visible on our pizzas. It's been awhile since we've been this disappointed by pizza. Portion-wise, one pizza can feed two people of medium appetites unless you upgrade to the smaller, lighter cauliflower crust base. I was originally bemoaning the fact that we'd have to come back to try the Death Star, but I think we'll be getting food from elsewhere next time we're doing a beer pickup from the brewery next door. read more

I know Pizza is a "Hot" topic living down here since everyone compares it to where they came from; from New Years, New Jersey, Connecticut etc. We all have our opinion on what it should be; bottom line if you like it then it's good enough for you. I do like Pizza Machine, I usual get it with sausage and red onion on the fresh mozzarella pie. The brick oven helps with taste and texture but there are times I wish the bottom crust would be just a touch more crispy. I've had other pies as well and also the cheese calzone. The calzone comes with a side of marinara ( the complaint with that is it comes cold and I like to dunk my calzone into the sauce). The service is pretty fast from the time you order and you pick up. read more

My family has claimed this as their favorite pizza in the Lewes area. Things you need to know. 1. This isn't a sit down restaurant. If you want to sit, you need to go next door to the Dewey Brewing location. 2. No, they are not cheap. 3. Each pizza will serve about one adult. If you aren't that hungry, you'll have leftovers. If you are starving, you'll want more. 4. The pizza is still good the next day cold out of the fridge. For the price, I expected them to go a little bit heavier on the toppings. The combinations are good and you can also make your own creation by paying for each topping you add. You can opt for a vegan variation for an extra fee. You can also pay a fee for cauliflower crust. They even have vegan garlic cheese bread. They also have salad and sub options, but I haven't tried them. read more

We ordered takeout and hung out at Dewey Beer Co. You can bring your pizza over to eat. It's ready fairly quickly and we have tried a couple different pizzas so far. We have had the plain cheese pizza, Shroomin', Intergalactic cheesy bread, ceasar salad, and buffalo chicken express. Pretty dang good pizza. I had the buffalo chicken on cauliflower crust (12") and my husband had regular 14" pepperoni. Mine had great flavor with a number of tasty toppings. The cauliflower crust is nice and thin. The regular dough is of medium thickness. There are quite a number of "premeditated " pie creations and a long list of toppings for pick your own adventure creations. Ordering online ahead of time is a breeze. A receipt went to my email and text to my my phone when the order was ready. Minus one star for the price. Changing the crust from regular dough or adding any toppings will quickly get you above $20 for a pizza that will feed 2 medium hungry folks or 1 real hungry person. I'd order from here again, especially paired with some brews from next door. read more

Great pizza right next door to Dewey Brewing. We were visiting Dewey and needed something to eat so walked over and had a pizza and an appetizer. Their "boujee" pizza was fantastic. It was a white pizza with pesto as well. We loved it! We also had one of their cheesy breadsticks to share and it also was amazing. Considering their right next to Dewey Beer and that location doesn't serve food - it's a great option for a meal or snack. read more

I wanted to try the cauliflower crust pizza, so I did. Crust was thin and crisp at the edges, which is good, but I wasn't as satisfied with the sauce and pepperoni as I thought I'd be. We had a sausage and mushroom pizza, pepperoni pizza and their Bianca pizza. All were so delicious with a great crust! We ate outside on picnic tables at Dewey Beer Co with their beer and wine. Went there last night , walked next door got a seat at Dewey beer company ordered a few beers for me and my wife then walked next door to order my pizza. I got a pie with half pepperoni and the other half sausage and onions in the entire pie , pizza was good my problem was for the money $19 there should be more toppings one slice on the sausage side actually had no sausage lol and the rest of the slices had only a couple dime size pieces of sausage, I know there's a shortage but please not on my pizza, and looking at the menu price I think I paid full price for half toppings read more
