The quality of the food. The calzones were very full & tasty. The sauce that came with calzones was tasty and they complemented each other.

Long time chef up in Philly, I had a good feeling he knew what he was doing. Ironically, ever since that day, I would hear people raving about Lucas. That's when I knew I had to go see what's up. My Fiancé and I reserved a pie yesterday for 3:45, kept it simple for as I always do when eating at a joint for the first time - really shows if a place can execute the simple things. Which in this case, they hit it out of the park. We sat in the car in the parking lot instead of waiting 30 mins until we got home, because I really wanted to try it fresh out of the oven. I devoured 4 slices in a matter of 15 mins. This is the best traditional pizza oven pizza I've had in Delaware, and I moved here in '06. As my Fiancé and I were feeling like we were in heaven enjoying the pie, I told her they have sandwiches as well, one of which was a Chx Caesar sub - our favorite. She insisted we get one for later, of course I agreed. I called back in and ordered it, was ready in 10 minutes. When I was handed the sandwich wrapped up, i already knew it was gonna be a hit. Thing was massive. We made it home and had our way with this sandwich. Which from the picture looks a bit messy, but it was very easy to eat and stayed together. Was delicious. This place was well worth the anticipation and excitement, they certainly delivered and we will be back to try the Tito's (Vodka Pie) and Cheesesteak. I'll be thinking about this first experience until we get back for a second time. Well done brother, yall got it going on for sure !

We ate in, they have a few tables and serve bottled beverages. They do not have ice for the beverages. Seats were comfortable and after a short wait our food order came out. The Italian sub was really good with the Italian meats and EVVO garnish. They had Mortadella on it which I love. They use Liscios bread. The pizza was cooked very well, the crust was crispy and airy very tasty. However the toppings had a bite to them which we later found out was the Vodka sauce? The pancetta was crispy and spinach ok. In my opinion it could have used some more cheese. The pizza price was $28.50, a bit steep even for the resort area. I will have to try the regular with sweet fennel sausage for a definitive opinion.

As you can see from my past reviews this is one of our favorite pizza restaurants for take out…read more This time we ordered and enjoyed the Four Brothers large pizza, which has most meats and vegetables including spinach for $22.98. We also enjoyed ten mild naked chicken wings with a side of blue cheese for $13.99. My total bill excluding gratuity was $36.97. Our order taker Liliara accurately recorded our order. Our order was available about 15 minutes after we placed our order by phone, which was very fast. Last time also took about 15 minutes from the time when we called our pizza order in. We will continue to place take out orders for pizza from here via phone, because they always answer their phone. As you can see I elevated this restaurant from 3 stars to 4 stars on my last review.

So I will start with the good. The place is very clean…read more The bad ... I was going to the 2 slice special and a can of side special. When I got inside they had a special board advertising a cheese steak , fries , and a can of soda for $9.99 I told the lady that I'd like to upgrade to a bottle of soda. I told her I'd like Mayo and Raw onions on my sub. When she did her magic on the cash register the total was nearly 15 dollars I question why a soda upgrade was $5.00. She said I could get the can also as they don't upgrade the meal from can to a bottle. She said the soda was $2.50 (I think). I asked about the other $2.50 and she said they charge for toppings. I said $2.50 for mayo and raw onions... she said yes. On to the photo. They use those really cheap French fries that they call seasoned. They take the skin grind it up and attach it to the fries. It's just isn't good and makes the fries taste like grease. On to the sub .... I mean the only way to describe it is SALTY ... I added some of the 15 packets of ketchup they gave me ... but could only get a little more than half down before the salty taste was unbearable I just can't recommend this place to anyone. Sorry but even if the cheese steak had been the best I ever had it wouldn't be enough to justify being charge $15 for a $10 special. And the French fries are cheap from the food distributor cause they suck.

You've arrived at the Grove Market Restaurant and Smokehouse. Now "stumble" is simple poetic flourish I'm sorry to say because this stumble requires a reservation. But lore and experience is part of the Grove allure; the other is its very, very good food. There's no menu, no onside food fridge at this local to table establishment just excellent service and well prepared culinary delights. And the Grove is accommodating; should you, like me, have dietary preferences let them know when reserving. The chef had a unique appetizer ready for me and I was so touched by the gesture I went back to thank them. Fist bumps. The Grove works on timed seatings in its rather small quarters. The server narrates the night's offerings in stages and is very responsive to inquiries. The apps, the meals, the desserts are all very good. I had scallops in a coconut curry sauce, mashed potatoes and a rainbow array of carrots. My guests had pork, filet minion, sea bass -- all from hereabouts. No complaints. Lots of yum yum silence. Now a few things to account for -- bring cash; no cards at the Grove and bring plenty of cash. Worth it. Go. Stumble on. Yum. Yum.
