The falafel is divine! The hummus and pita are very good and the portions are generous.

Shah's is a welcome addition to an area that's long needed more quality dining options. This…read morefast-casual Halal eatery serves up New York-style street food bowls and platters, including staples like chicken over rice, lamb over rice, and combo bowls, along with fried swai, chapli kebabs, and a few American-style options like hot wings, cheesesteaks, and burgers. I've tried both the chicken and combo over rice bowls, and both were flavorful and satisfying. The fresh salad included in each bowl adds a nice balance, and their trio of sauces--white, green, and red--are all excellent complements. That said, my main critique is the portion of meat: it feels a bit light for the price. I usually pay for extra meat, but that quickly turns a reasonably priced meal into a more expensive one. I've also sampled a few other menu items: Pita and hummus: Very good. Hot wings: Just standard wing dings--nothing memorable. Cheesesteak: Basic 8-inch sub; it'll do in a pinch, but nothing to write home about. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking (shared with Walmart and Giant), and the interior is clean with limited dine-in seating. Staff are efficient, though not particularly welcoming--it's more of a "here's your food" experience than warm hospitality. One important tip: if you order online, make sure to use their official site. It's powered by DoorDash, but ordering directly avoids the inflated prices--DoorDash's platform adds around $2 per menu item. Overall, Shah's delivers solid value and flavor, especially for the bowls. With a few tweaks--more generous protein portions and a bit more warmth from the staff--it could go from good to great.

Customer service was good and we were glad that they did have some tables to sit at to eat what we ordered. They have bottled drinks available for purchase. I got the chicken over rice platter and I appreciate a meal that incorporates salad so you don't feel too guilty eating it. I added chicken peas, cucumbers, rice and the white sauce to my platter and I would order it again. I usually take pictures of my food but I was too excited eating this... sorry

The whole vibe was great and the meals were absolutely incredible. Since neither of us had been there before, Patty made some phenomenal suggestions, and somehow anticipated everything we needed before we even asked. She was a gem, and so patient and knowledgeable about everything in the menu. (Appetizer) Bolani: You have to get this. It's this crispy, golden fried dough filled with seasoned potatoes and herbs. It comes with a jalapeño chutney that is SO flavorful. Honestly, the menu description doesn't even do it justice, it's delicious. (Entree) Kabul Alfredo: I went with this for my main. It's basically the best of both worlds, its a linguine with garlic, creamy Alfredo, amd shaved parm, but topped with Afghan chicken kabob. The chicken was so tender and perfectly seasoned. I am SO glad we found Setaara, we'd originally tried to grab a quick burger at a hotel restaurant after a work event, but we were completely ignored there, so we just walked out and walked down the street looking for something open. The whole vibe was great, and our meals were absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be back!!!

We went for their brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Disclaimer they do not serve any main course items for lunch hours too. The ambiance was beautiful and picturesque. The staff was super sweet. We ordered bolani which was ok ish but the chutney was delicious, chole puri - chole were delicious and puri was crispy but yum, the third thing we ordered was an omelette that tasted yum too. They even served fresh juice. We had pomegranate and orange juice. The ambiance was so good and birds were chirping and it felt like we were sitting in a courtyard of someone's home.
