After a few years of patronage, I noticed the pizza quality has declined and customer service is horrible. We received an over cooked pizza, crust had multiple burnt areas, bottom of slices very dark. I called to complain and was told bring it back. Once I brought it back, the exchange got unpleasant. The representative insisted it was the same as the Newly baked pizza. When I pointed out how the crust was overcooked with multiple burnt spot and darken cheese she tried to convince me it wasn't. Bottom line, I will never buy another pizza, carrot cake, wings or anything from Captain's again. Let her family or one of the cooks eat that overcooked pizza! read more

I decided to try Captain's today because they had a $7.99 lunch special, which gave me two huge slices of pizza with one topping each, and a 22 ounce fountain drink. I have to say I was not disappointed at all. I got mushrooms on mine and, as you can see from the picture, they were very plentiful. I spent $45.00 and ordered one cheesesteak and one fish & chips. HORRIBLE!! Fish was 6 thin straps of mush and bad taste. This was served on 2lbs of undercooked French fries. The cheesesteak did not taste like cheesesteak. We have yet to flgure out what it was. Whatever it was not etable. I called to complain and all the girl could say was a very sarcastic "sorry". I asked about refund and they said I would have to go thru door dash, hence I ordered thru them. We'll, hello! Have u ever tried to get someone with doordash on the phone on Friday night? The Best Baked Ziti I had in a while!! I came across this place through vitiating one of my properties and it was highly recommended by staff members. So I called my order in and it was the most felicitous plate of food. It came with garlic bread so greasy with the perfect amount of oil and garlic it was one of my favorites. The portion was great I was able to eat half for lunch and take the rest for dinner. Are the rest of the bread on my drive back home still fresh and tasty. 5 stars to the chef and 5 stars to the staff and the handle king of my food. I can't wait to come back next week. We used to love Captain's, including the GF pizza, but hadn't ordered their wings ( a family favorite) during the spring and summer this year. Today, I ordered carryout wings and gf pizza. The garlic parm wings are itty bitty bites that are sitting in about 1/2 " of oil. They put the celery sticks inside the pan with the hot wings so those were warm and soft when I got them home. 10/$17! Never again unless they bump up the size and quality of the wings at this price! I LOVE Captains Pizza. My family recently moved to the area and we've been loyal customers since. We've had pizzas, gluten free pizzas, Stromboli, salads, and loaded fries. I must say as a native New Yorker, this is excellent pizza through and through. The creativity of their menu is attractive, their quality of crust and toppings is great, and i love ordering too much and eating left overs all week. The loaded fries are great to share! BBQ chicken and pizza fries are king. The shwarma pizza is probably my families favorite. We also love the Supreme and any ans all meats. We had an over all good experience with delivery recently. The pizza was tasty and the greek salad had great, fresh toppings. We called and ordered on a Saturday evening and although they quoted 45 minutes, they were there in about 30. Great for the hungry group! The only downfall was that our garlic knots weren't cooked the whole way through. They were tasty, but just needed more time. If those had been a bit better I'd say we had a 5-star experience. We'll certainly be ordering from here again based on the quick service and friendly delivery driver. read more

We ordered two larger square pie's, nothing to write home about. What I did want to point out was there terrible customer service, mainly the skinny dude with pony tail. We asked for plates, they gave us six, we asked for condiments, he said they do not have them to go. A pizzeria with a take-out option, should have garlic powder, red peppers or other condiments to give or ready to go. It might have been an off day for the establishment or the skinny guy with the ponytail upfront, who knows Young man with long hair, turns to the right, rolled his eyes and made a facial gesture to his coworker, in the attempt to keep the interaction civil. My family and I have eaten here several times in the last few weeks since we just moved our campers to the area. This place is fantastic. The food is delicious and the people are super friendly. First of all the menu is huge. It doesn't matter if everyone in the family wants a different style of food- the whole family can be pleased here. The liver and onions was the best surprise on the menu... reminded me of when my grandma used to make it for us for sunday dinners. This is a must try if it a dish you even halfway enjoy. The lasagna pizza is a great option for pizza. Tastes exactly like lasagna but on top of dough. The garlic knots are a must order as soon as we walk in the door. Seasoned to perfection! They make mistakes that make no sense--like adding tomatoes to a cheesesteak ordered with ketchup and mayo only. Sometimes they completely ignore your order, like the time we ordered a cheeseburger sub with ketchup and mayonnaise and received a meatball sub with ketchup and mayonnaise... A group of us ordered takeout and the food was OK. It's about 2 miles away from Amore (by JD SHuckers) and in comparison, Captain's pizza is better but Amore's Stromboli was much better. At Captain's the Philly cheesesteak Stromboli was dry with little sauce or cheese. It reminded me of Dominos Pizza crust as the dough. I've been getting take out from Captain's for the last 3 years. People always seemed friendly and helpful except for tonight. I was coming in to place an order when I over heard one employee I think he's name is Jason or Justin call another employee a moron. I was so offended that that happened I left. I didn't want to place my order with a person that would be that hostile to another employee. I wondered how he would treat a customer. He was so unemotional about it, it seemed that he treats that kid like that all the time. It's wrong to treat people that way to begin with but in a business setting it's unprofessional and if it's tolerated and allowed to continue it creates a hostile work environment for the other employees and for the customers read more

Last couple visits. 4 large pizzas. $80 spent and they want to charge $4 for 1 small crusted pepper and parmigiana cheese. I've never gone to a pizza joint where they don't provide crushed peppers and parmigiana cheese packets with your pizza order. The rudeness of the staff is what got me. Absolutely zero disregard to customers. Take it or leave it attitude. I mean great if your the only one in town but your surrounded by other establishments. Be nice and take care of your customers. All we want to say is great staff and amazing burgers. My one gripe is that its chilly so please bring your sweater trust me but otherwise 10/10, hence the 5 stars. We came from out of state and were looking for some hearty food. You will find it here. We were sat down quickly on Saturday Memorial Day weekend and our food arrived we even faster. This place should limit their menu. The seafood/pasta dishes are really pretty awful. The last time I was there I got the linguine with clams in the white sauce and the sauce was snotty like and thick. It was gross. The last time they had a seafood fra Diavlo and I ordered it. The sauce is supposed to be spicy and it definitely was not spicy. The red sauce was sweet and tasted like jar pizza sauce. What a waste of $19. You do get soup and salad with entrees which is nice. 100% would not recommend. Last time I ordered from them I got a meat lovers pizza. The best thing about it is that it fit in my trash can. Tonight I ordered a Reuben melt and fries. The melt is disgusting. As my favorite sandwich, I have never been dissatisfied with one. Until now... The whole thing fell apart just trying to cut it because the corned beef was so tough. Don't waste your time or money. The pizza was not good. I've had better frozen pizza. We ordered a regular plain pizza and when it arrived it looked like just a big ball of cheese. Very little tomato sauce. The salad bar which included soup was ok. But the lettuce was all brown. The soup on the salad bar happened to be cream of crab, which I love, but this was far from any crab soup I've ever tasted. In fact not sure there was any crab in it.
