I'm trying to eat more leafy greens and eating a salad for lunch each day. I ordered the "Southwest Chipotle Ranch" one of the signature salads at Saladworks (420 calories). What makes this salad is all the toppings the avocado, charred corn, beans, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, and tortilla chips. The salad was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. My only contention is that the small ramekin of dressing doesn't yield enough for the salad, and the blend of iceberg and romaine lettuce for the price of $13.99, when essentially "Salad Works" is a fast-food chain. I have been waiting to make a post because I figured the last few times that I have went to this place someone was not having a great day. The people here are just not friendly. Everyone that works here appears miserable. No one smiles and no one says hey how can I help you today, thank you have a great day, or anything. On top of that, I got the avocado BLT and It had bacon bits on it, so I was really disappointed. The salad was okay. The green sauce is not appealing on a sandwich. They are just not very friendly.... $13 your best off going to Panera or somewhere else besides this place.... read more

We walked in 20 minutes before closing at 8 and were given eyerolls from one of the employees. We were rushed through our order process and forced to take our salads home. They were already packing ingredients up so we were limited to the choices we could make. There was so little lettuce on the salad that I don't knew if it could really be called a salad. If you're going to close at 7:30, then your sign should reflect that. We will not be returning. read more

Service and food were great. Ate an early lunch at about 11:50 am. I ordered the half and half - 1/2Avocado Cobb salad and 1/2 tomato mozzarella panini. The salad was fresh and the avocado was scooped fresh as well. The panini was excellent and it was nice to have the salad while we waited for the paninis. We sat outside and they served the paninis, hot to us when ready. I saw some previous reviews on poor service which i didn't find to be true. read more

Basically, well-made salads. I am on the Noom diet and many of them are listed there as being excellent sources of nutrition staying within my calorie budget. The restaurant is clean and well-managed. The staff works quickly to provide you with a very nutritious salad that is quite tasty. I'm not gonna go into all the different types of salads as there are many but you can make healthy, low-calorie optional choices and stick to a diet quite well. I have to admit I'm rather pleased with The entire experience. As this is a franchise, I have not been to other locations but will certainly try in the future. Certainly worth a try! Just go to Panera. The food is better and you get decent portions. Really disappointing. Paid almost $14 for Broccoli cheddar soup that is super watery and a very thin sandwich with almost nothing on it. And a bag of chips. read more

The salads were very creative and I really liked the selection of dressings. This was my first time here and I was very pleased with my lunch today. I really like how they also give you a roll with your salad. I'm not giving it 5 stars o my because I felt like I spent a lot for one salad ($9) and I was still hungry. Almost every time that I have visited this location, the staff has been unpleasant. No greetings, and acted like we were bothering them. Today was one of the worst. The employee was snarky and not pleasant at all. If I hadn't thought she may do something to my food, I would have said something to her about her attitude. For about $10 I ordered a 1/2 Salad + 1/2 Soup to go. The salad was a Chicken Caesar with dressing on the side and the soup was small Chicken Pot-pie. The order was to go.When I reached the cash register, the order was set up to dine in. After my order was bagged, I went back to the office and found that my side of dressing was not in either of the bags. I called and asked if a delivery driver could bring the missing dressing and they said they would send it. (Remains to be seen.) I figured I could at least eat the soup. It was a little bland, but it was not hot. (Luke-warm at best.) At the prices they charge, the service and quality of the food should be near impeccable. Salad works again? I think not. I have been a regular customer since this place opened a couple years. I usually stop in at least 4 or 5x monthly. Last night I stopped in just before class to have a healthy salad. I ordered the chicken caesar salad and sat down to relax and enjoy the grub. Halfway through the salad, I looked down and saw something under the lettuce. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that it was crawling and it was black. Some kind of bug was in my salad!! Losing my appetite, I calmly went back to the counter and showed the young lady and young man my new found friend, Mr. Bug. The girl looked at me and asked, "So what do you want, a refund?" Umm yes, I would thank you and an apology would also be nice, but hey, as the Rolling Stones would say, "You Can't Always Get What You Want." The girl refunded my money and gave some half-hearted apology. I left with no dinner while I'm assuming the little bug enjoyed his salad. I'm all about giving to the needy but not when it comes to bugs. Needless to say, I won't be going back there ever again and I encourage everyone to please inspect your food closely if you decide to eat at Saladworks. read more
