Service was spot on with Husein, Thank You Husein! Started with caramel Apple martini's and holy moly....excellent! Tsaziki and it was amazeballs! My wife had the lemon orzo soup and Greek salad and it was spot on, fresh and very yummy. I had the Greek burger with rice and a side salad...absolutely delish! The wife and I were stuffed and no room for deserts.

We have driven by this place so many times and never stopped....until today. We wanted something different. The inside is so nice! At first I thought there was a dress code and I was concerned given I was wearing shorts...but the hostesses welcomed us in. It was one of those moments were I felt super welcomed and I rarely feel that these days. The service was pretty good! I ordered the Pasta Kotopoulo. It was SO GOOD. We also ordered the watermelon salad and that was to die for. We rarely cheat on our Food For Thought because it's hardly ever worth it, but this place was so good, we will definitely come back.

I remember really liking this place the last time I came but this time it kind of missed a lot of marks. First of all, they ran out of the swordfish special so I ordered the whole branzino at market price ($38). My mom was able to get the last swordfish but it only tasted all right to me. The branzino was nothing special either. The skin wasn't crispy and they make you take it apart yourself, I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to it as it was kind of tasteless. The best part of our meal was the Kephi Cold Pikilia which was three dips, dolmades, and pita bread. This was good! But I do wish the pita bread was a little more toasted. Then for service, we were waiting for ages for our food to come out and then finally pay at the end. We literally had to get up from our table to try to find someone so that we could pay. Nice servers, but weirdly overwhelmed even though the restaurant wasn't busy. I don't need to come back any time soon.

FANTASTIC! We were in the area and came across this location on Yelp. Many people said great things about Kephi. So we decided to try them out. It was myself and my family. Parking is easy to navigate. Once inside the hues of blue surrounded us. We were seated immediately. We place an order of just about everything, especially when it came to dessert. We tried to order all different things so we can have a taste of just about everything. Everything was fantastic and very authentic. Our server was awesome. He was very attentive. He was very helpful to another table who were having trouble navigating the menu. The desserts.. .the desserts! There is so many to choose from. There are many cookies, cakes, pies ect. We went up to the case to take a look at everything and placed our order that way. The desserts were also very authentic. Overall Kephi is on the list for Williamsburg eats. I highly recommend Kephi.

Very friendly and helpful service. Beautiful ambience with Greek music playing. The food tasted fresh and delicious with a variety of authentic desserts to round out the experience. Reminded me very much of my trip to Greece. We will be back soon to try more of the menu.

Kephi is a wonderful authentic Greek spot with personal touches that make you feel like you're in a cozy restaurant no matter how busy they are. We've been here multiple times and each time was amazing. Most recently we had traditional gyros for lunch and shared a traditional dessert from the extensive dessert case. The meat in our gyros was tender and the tzatziki was thick and not runny. We love coming here, the food is amazing and as long the restaurant isn't packed the service is good.

Happened to find this place in a local guide book and so glad I did. The food from appetizer, to main and deserts were wonderful. Even the wine. My server was on points and kind. I was dining solo which can be intimidating but everything here was inviting.

After several friends recommending this restaurant we decided to drive to Williamsburg and try it out. The menu is large so there is something for everyone. We had the zucchini fritter for appetizer. They were good but a little "mushy" for my taste. I ordered a sandwich and it was good. My husband ordered the kebobs and loved them. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full to order one. Next time I will save room! Our server was very attentive and helpful with our questions. I was surprised at how large the restaurant was but their was a steady flow of patrons!

Ate here again and sadly this place really missed the mark. Decided to try the gyro again, that maybe the first time was an off-night. Meat still not good or flavorful. I think being a Greek restaurant you should be able to do decent gyro meat. Hostess was rude, and then ended up giving us the specials menu from the night before. Why would you still have those out on the hostess stand? The worst past is that two of our guests ordered them and was not informed by our waitress that they didn't have those specials that evening till almost a half hour after we had ordered. Bad service. Really the only redeeming quality was the Oreo cake slice from the evening.

Walked in for the bakery, large selection. The deserts are beautiful. I got pistachio raspberry cakes for my mom and I. I personally thought that it looked better than it tasted I was hoping for more raspberry flavor and a lot more pistachio flavor. On the pricy side it was around $16 for the 2. But my mom liked it a lot.

Elegant design and light background music plays in this quintessential Greek restaurant but with much elan! The delicious aroma of fresh Greek fare wafts about as you sit in the relaxed and stylish dining area. They have an elegant bar if you prefer to enjoy drinks before or after an event or show! The host graciously greets you with a smile and leads you to your table. Immediately your eyes are drawn to the dessert counter! But first things first, order your entree and then decide on the multitude of desserts on offer! We ordered off the Chef's Pick Perka and the Crabcakes, for dessert: baklava cheesecake, Charlotte apricot, and the Bell!

Our server was absolutely amazing her name was Gizem. She said English was her second language, her English was just fine. Our food which I shall provide pictures of was amazingly delicious. We had the trio appetizers and the charbroiled octopus. All delicious!!!! I had the lamb shank with pasta (a true Greek treat), my friends had the gyro and another lamb dish that featured shaved lamb. We did baklava and espresso for dessert. . . An experience worth enjoying!!!!

The little private nooks are wonderful. And we could not have had better service. I went with two friends and we were all delighted. Our server was Marjan (I have no idea if I am spelling her name right). She was so sweet! We had many questions and she was very patient with us. The food was AMAZING!!! None of us had ever had Yemeni food before so we were googling the names of all the dishes. We ordered three appetizers, three entrees, and three desserts. We all tried one another's dishes and not a single bite was bad. I would be hard-pressed to choose my favorite dish. Oh wait! I can choose a favorite - the mint lemonade! Oh my goodness, what a terrific, refreshing drink!!! The savory flavors of the foods, the textures, and presentation of everything were perfect. And everything came out quickly. We were all so full and happy! We lingered over our meal and we were not rushed at all. There were only a couple other full tables of customers so they didn't hurry our dining experience. We can't wait to go back and we vowed to tell everyone we know to come and experience Shibam.

While the experience hasn't always been great--issues with portion sizes, cleanliness, and occasional overcharging--I kept giving it another chance. My last two visits, however, were the final straw. On one visit, I asked for a large cup for water after spending about $40. I was told it would cost $4. I even spoke to the manager, who confirmed this was their policy. Charging a paying customer $4 for a water cup--something that likely costs the company only a few cents (around 4-6¢)--felt unreasonable and completely out of touch. On my most recent visit, I ordered two bowls with chicken and asked to add an extra portion of salmon to one. I specifically asked the price beforehand and was told it would be $4. When I received my bill, I was charged double for the salmon. When I questioned it, they insisted the charge was correct--bringing the cost of that add-on close to the price of an entire bowl. Beyond pricing issues, the condition of the restaurant has declined significantly. On my last visit, the place was visibly dirty--food on the floors and counters, messy prep areas, and empty, unclean pans throughout. The combination of inconsistent pricing, questionable practices, and poor cleanliness is unacceptable. I won't be returning.

And the food only paled in comparison to the service. I'm not sure if Alvaro is the owner or related to the proprietor--it's obvious he LOVES his job, he was engaging and knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on. He suggested the Mezze platter as our appetizer (I ended up eating it as my entire meal). He also was so animated and excited about the buttery sauce that was used in the process of making the lamb chops, we ordered both purely because he was so confident we would like them. And that is where he made his mistake--we didn't LIKE them; we LOVED them! The lamb was cooked to perfection. The appetizer platter was an explosion of flavors--and trust me, the falafel alone is worth the trip back. All too often, falafel is made with the premise that bigger is better. Falafel can taste gummy and dry if it made too large. Baladi had mastered the perfect falafel. They make them small, crunchy and flavorful. Hands down, it was my favorite. And then I tasted the babaganouush! Oh my, my, my! I didn't think the falafel had competition, but that babaganouush nearly melted in my mouth.
