They cut up my fingers! Read below... I have been going here for a year now, it started out well, staff was nice and the couple of girls who would always do my nails were nice and did a good job. As of the last 4 months it really went downhill, my usual nail lady has been double booked the last 3 times I have came for my appointment, they leave me sitting there for literally 30+ minutes sometimes waiting, despite me having a confirmed appointment for a specific time. This last time I came in once again with a confirmed appointment, to be told my nail lady whom I scheduled with, didn't even work that day? So they insist I use one of their other girls telling me she is really good. I had a trip scheduled and didn't have time to come back another day, so I agreed. My nails were hacked! I was literally bleeding on 2 separate fingers because the nail lady doing my nails kept chatting with coworkers and kept cutting me with the nail drill. Then she used alcohol to stop the bleeding on my cuts which burned. I now have bandaids and neosporin on 2 different fingers days later, healing the cuts still. I don't know why service, scheduling, and lack of care had gotten so bad at this place as of recently, but I wouldn't recommend this place and sadly I will have to find a new nail place. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for over 5 years, so I never expected to leave feeling the way I did yesterday. While I was sitting at the 4th pedicure station getting my service, a woman walked into the salon and began screaming at everyone, accusing people of stealing her money. She then turned her attention toward me and began verbally attacking me, calling me "fat," "ugly," "orca," and other things that I honestly don't even remember because I became so emotional and started crying. I do want to acknowledge that a couple of employees and customers sitting at pedicure stations 3 and 5 tried to comfort me and make me feel better. I truly appreciated their kindness in that moment. Paula, the owner, also came over afterward and apologized, saying, "I'm sorry, she's crazy." I appreciate that she acknowledged what happened. However, what was most disappointing to me was that no one actually stepped in to stop the situation or asked this woman to leave the salon. I was sitting there receiving a service while someone was aggressively yelling insults at me, and I felt completely exposed and embarrassed. After more than five years as a loyal customer, I expected the owner and staff to protect me from being verbally attacked inside their business. I was there to relax and enjoy my pedicure. Instead, I ended up crying and feeling humiliated. What made it even more upsetting was that after seeing how emotional I was, the salon did not offer me a tissue, a cup of water, or even ask if there was anything they could do to help me feel better. I understand that dealing with someone behaving irrationally can be difficult, and I don't blame the employees or customers who tried to comfort me. Their kindness meant a lot. But as a longtime customer, I needed more from the business itself. I needed someone to step in and say, "You cannot speak to our customer this way," and make me feel safe and protected. read more

I went back to Kim to get my nails fixed since they offered a discount on a new set to try and work things out. After putting a couple flowers on, she told me that my nails were too small to do the current design that I wanted to which I replied OK then I'd like a different design and she said "no I already put flowers. I'm not changing it" and then proceeded to do the design that I wanted, but not how I wanted it due to that and the fact that there is polished on my cuticles the lines are not straight. and the flowers are not rounded like typical flowers or like the flowers that I wanted in the photo a very simple design I will not be returning and do not recommend this business. We recently moved to the area and decided to give this nail salon a try. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, from the inconsistent pricing to the poor quality of service and unprofessional attitudes. Before coming in, I called to ask about their services and prices. I specifically asked if they offered polygel, and I was told they didn't, but they offered something similar with extensions starting at $55. However, once we arrived, I was charged $70 for short nails, which was frustrating considering what I had been quoted over the phone. I also asked about a kids' manicure and pedicure and was told it would be $35. When we arrived, they asked my daughter's age, and when I said she was 12, they informed me that she would be charged adult pricing. I had no issue paying the adult price, but I certainly expected adult-quality service. The manicure and polish application on my daughters' nails were honestly a joke. The top coat was applied so thickly and unevenly that I had to ask them to redo it. Even basic polish application should be done properly, regardless of the customer's age. As for my own nails, my cuticles were not properly cleaned or trimmed, and the builder gel was applied so unevenly that my nails have visible bumps throughout. They look bulky, messy, and completely unprofessional. My gel pedicure is a whole other story and was just as disappointing. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. When you politely ask them to correct something or even compare the lengths of your nails to make sure they are even, you're met with attitude instead of professionalism. As a paying customer, I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable asking for something as basic as evenly shaped nails or properly applied polish. Rather than being receptive to feedback, they make you feel like you're being difficult simply for expecting the service you're paying for. What bothers me most is that I came in expecting a relaxing experience for myself and my two daughters, especially since we are new to the neighborhood and hoping to find a salon we could regularly visit. Instead, we left feeling frustrated and disappointed with both the quality of the work and the customer service. I don't mind paying for quality service, but I do expect the results to reflect the prices being charged. And if something isn't done correctly, customers should be able to speak up without being given an attitude. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Poor workmanship, inconsistent pricing, and unprofessional customer service. I would not recommend this salon, and we definitely will not be returning. read more

Everyone was really nice but fast forward two weeks later and 5/10 of my nails have broken down to the fingertip despite me having a desk job and not doing anything unusual to cause this. Our nails person moved and this is the second place i've been to into my journey of finding our go to nail salon. My soulsis discovered the place by accident and she liked it so I went today with my mom on Valentine's Day. i try to get our nails done twice a month as it gets really difficult when I leave the gel too long. I am writing my review as Hannah finishes my pedi. Jonathan did the mani and the other 2 ladies attended to my mom. So i am going to post this without the finished product yet, nor how the nail polish have stayed neat and solid the next 2 weeks. Here's my observation for the 49minites I was here. But first let me mention that I called around 1pm to check availability for 4pm and the receptionist confirmed our appointment. As soon as I hung up the phone, I received a text about the appointment. That's a good sign of being systematic. We arrived 5 minutes before the appointment time and they immediately accommodated us. I was led to the main tables while mom went straight to the chair for her pedi. The turn around was quick so before Jonathan finished cleaning one hand, th had me move to the seat next to mom. Being aware of the customers is a good sign. I selected the regular pedi with callous removal for my stubborn callous, and a gel manicure. They have a wide selection of colors which I like. Jonathan was very attentive to th customers coming and going. He seems to know everybody, calling them by their first names and engaging in small talks is a bonus, 5-star customer relationship! He cleaned my nails well and even suggested coconut oil for my very dry hands and cuticle (which I appreciate). Hanah was very thorough with the spa and pedicure, regularly smiling and checking with me if everything is ok. I had a very pleasant experience with this salon and I'm positive to come back after 2 weeks, before I leave for the trade shows. They have a lot of staff so there's no waiting time; They have uniforms and they look professional, they wear masks and gloves. As soon as my mom stood up to move to the chairs across while waiting for my to finish, a lady was already on stand by with towels to wipe the chair, replace the plastic in the basin and prepare the chair for the next customer. I'm impressed! and if they have been doing this for a long time, then I am glad my friend found this gem! Let's see in the next two weeks coz at the last salon that I tried, the lady was good in cleaning the nails but their gel was probably old coz it quickly peeled off. I really hope this will be our go to salon... Will update soon. read more

I've been going to Paula's Nail Spa for over 7 years and I am always happy when I leave the Nail Spa; however, today was not one of those days. I called in to schedule an appointment with Johnathan. I indicated I have bio gel which I wanted to remove and get a regular manicure. I was told to hold and check if he will be able to do my nails. I secured an appt for 230pm. When I go there Johnathan asked me if I wanted to do gel manicure, I said no i want my nails to breathe I will just do manicure. He said ok and then said Chole does a good job she will do it for you. I said why didn't you tell me you don't want to do my nails. I felt like just because I was doing a manicure (reg) he didn't want to assist me, when in the past he has one bio gel with designs for me. I felt lied to and Chloe did my nails. While Chloe was putting on my polish I had to ask her to get the edges of my nails with polish. She said she will put a third color coat and cover it. Even after 3 coats my nails are not completely covered by the nail polish. Additionally, I paid $22 for reg manicure plus $10 to remove the bio gel and she didn't even complete the manicure. There was no lotion, no massage and she didn't cover my nails with nail polish. I showed nails to the person at the register and he agreed that the nails were not fully covered with polish. He apologized and gave me $2 back. I was insulted by him giving me $2. I should not have paid full price for service which was not provided. After showing him my nails nothing was done. I love this place and I always tell people to go here but todays service and approach made me feel disrespected, discriminated against, and I should not have been charged full payment for services which were not completed. My appointment was for 230pm It is 4:14pm and I am yet to hear back from Johnathan. He didn't even reach out to me despite telling sharing my experience. read more

I don't have the patience to sit for too long, so I love that I can come and get my nails done quickly, and know they will ALWAYS do an amazing job regardless of the technician helping me that day. The employees have been here for many years so that is also a testament to management and nice to see friendly and familiar faces for so many years. They also play old school music videos on the TV so time goes by quickly when you're lost in nostalgia. So badly painted I just had it removed and clear polish put on. Cuticles still look awful. Didn't scrub my feet at all. Literally will not come back. This place use to be so good.
