This review is strictly for the pedicure services only. I have been coming to this salon for many years now. I used to get gel manicures with Be for many years and she is great! 5 stars for her! Probably the best nail tech I've ever had. Hieu is also very good but only works limited days of the week so it's hard sometimes to schedule with her if she's booked. I've tried over 5 different nail techs for my pedicures. Every single time the polish is applied it's sloppy and uneven. It seems if you're getting a basic $29 pedicure they rush through it. I personally don't need callus treatment so I always get the basic service. They barely massage your feet or legs. Today the nail tech (Liz) didn't even clean up the cuticle area or around the nails. She clipped and quickly filed them. The polish had bubbles, was uneven and sloppy. I still tipped her $10! Perhaps they need to wear magnifying glasses so that they can see their work. Plus she was running 30 minutes late for my appointment. Months ago I had a pedicure with Derek and he did an outstanding polish job but a so-so pedicure. He didn't bother to file my nails or clean up the areas around the nail. 30 second massage on each foot. When the man working the front desk asked me if everything was good I told him no and he didn't seem to care. They also re-use their nail files and buffers on the clients. Not very sanitary. i've been coming to naillywood for since i was 15 and the quality of service has gone down yet the prices have gone up. the nails are constantly not filed the same length , shape & and are slanted. polish doesn't cover the entire nail. have to ask to get ur cuticles cut. the women are rushing to get to the next person. i stopped getting my nails done often because of this and the few times i want to splurge it just feels like i should go to an at home tech and really splurge because at least i'll get getting quality service worth the price. read more

Today, I walked in and was lucky to take the last seat for Classic Pedicure at $29 and Callus Removal Treatment at $12. After sitting at the SPA massage chair, the nail technician introduced me a Hollywood Pedicure at $57, which including: Soothing salt soak, protective foot serum, foot-nail cuticle cream, exfoliating sugar scrub, soothing moisture mask, whip massage cream, and 10 minute massage. I took her advice. The result is very satisfied. The foot massage is only 5 minutes. The other 5- minutes massage might be counted at exfoliating sugar scrub, etc. In summary, today's experience of Hollywood Pedicure exceed my expectation that in turn beats all similar services at a SPA center from five cruise lines: Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Holland America and Princess, but the price is at a half. Called for a pedicure.. they said no problem come on in. The lady was nice but my pedicure is so so. The skin prep isn't the greatest and neither is polish. I have bits on skin and it's poorly applied. They have refreshments but never offered me any. They don't check to see if you're happy with service because frankly they don't care. They got you in, collected their fee and got what they needed. I will not be back. Such a let down. read more

Only a 2 star because front desk is nice. The customer service from the techs suck, but that's not the worst part. This salon needs osha to be called on, they are extremely unsanitary. The single brush the use to dust my hands/nails with is used to dust everything in the salon, including my phone, no shame no hiding. My nails came out with hairs stuck under the top coat, I have bio gel with is expensive. The lady who did my toes was extremely rushed (no customers were waiting) and she talked so much crap about me in her language after I asked her to fix my French tip. She also DID NOT listen when I asked her for a pink colored nude, she gave me basic brown tone nude. She didn't scrub my feet for more than 1 second, no exaggeration. I thought I found the best nail salon until my service I had today. I asked a question about a price and it was the biggest deal ever between two nail techs. Keep in mind there talking in front of me arguing about what I paid in the past after their back-and-forth, they go and ask the receptionist to call out the owner I assume, she was very nice with me and explained that the price I have been paying is not what the price should be for the service The man who did my pedicure seemed to be upset I did gel x on my toes and paid $80 which is what I've paid for in the past and at two other salons, no callous removal was not even offered that and I did not even put my feet in water, at the end of my service, I cleaned my own feet as Him and the other nail tech continued to talk about the price and service. Let me add the woman he was speaking with had attitude for what reason I don't know because she wasn't even doing my service. It was definitely embarrassing. I have no issue paying for my service. I just was wondering what the cost difference is between just adding a fake nail on one big toe verse all of my toes and that was the end of it for them. Went in to get my 9 year old daughter's nails painted and the guy at front said it's $8 to get a kids nail painted. Then when the owner saw her he said no charge her as an adult because she's tall. We've got her nails painted at many salons and never have they charged her as an adult to paint her nails because her legs are long. Makes no sense.
