My soulsis discovered the place by accident and she liked it so I went today with my mom on Valentine's Day. i try to get our nails done twice a month as it gets really difficult when I leave the gel too long. I am writing my review as Hannah finishes my pedi. Jonathan did the mani and the other 2 ladies attended to my mom. So i am going to post this without the finished product yet, nor how the nail polish have stayed neat and solid the next 2 weeks. Here's my observation for the 49minites I was here. But first let me mention that I called around 1pm to check availability for 4pm and the receptionist confirmed our appointment. As soon as I hung up the phone, I received a text about the appointment. That's a good sign of being systematic. We arrived 5 minutes before the appointment time and they immediately accommodated us. I was led to the main tables while mom went straight to the chair for her pedi. The turn around was quick so before Jonathan finished cleaning one hand, th had me move to the seat next to mom. Being aware of the customers is a good sign. I selected the regular pedi with callous removal for my stubborn callous, and a gel manicure. They have a wide selection of colors which I like. Jonathan was very attentive to th customers coming and going. He seems to know everybody, calling them by their first names and engaging in small talks is a bonus, 5-star customer relationship! He cleaned my nails well and even suggested coconut oil for my very dry hands and cuticle (which I appreciate). Hanah was very thorough with the spa and pedicure, regularly smiling and checking with me if everything is ok. I had a very pleasant experience with this salon and I'm positive to come back after 2 weeks, before I leave for the trade shows. They have a lot of staff so there's no waiting time; They have uniforms and they look professional, they wear masks and gloves. As soon as my mom stood up to move to the chairs across while waiting for my to finish, a lady was already on stand by with towels to wipe the chair, replace the plastic in the basin and prepare the chair for the next customer. I'm impressed! and if they have been doing this for a long time, then I am glad my friend found this gem! Let's see in the next two weeks coz at the last salon that I tried, the lady was good in cleaning the nails but their gel was probably old coz it quickly peeled off. I really hope this will be our go to salon... Will update soon.

The nail tech was polite and helpful; however her technique for a basic French tip was less than satisfactory. When sitting down she did ask for my opinion however the lines crookedness was not obvious from my perspective but once I got home and had another look it was very obvious and apparent the line was not even at all. I have added a photo for reference, I didn't complain when I saw the pedicure menu and saw a price of $25 for a standard pedicure but when I was charged at the terminal it was $31 I totally understand the prices are subject to change. The issue that bothers me the most is the lack of attention to detail. I will not be returning and don't recommend either! Save your time and money.

When I sat down with Tom, he noticed that three of my nails were crooked, and he asked me, "Why doesn't your guy straighten them for you?" in that moment, I knew that Tom had won my business for life. Mind you, I live in Los Feliz, and the almost hour-long drive to get to Cindy Nails Spa is totally worth it to have Tom make my hands look expensive. I went in for a basic manicure and pedicure to clean up my nails, toes, and cuticles. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from the start. The man who did my manicure wasn't friendly or gentle. He never asked how I wanted my nails shaped and immediately started filing. My fingernails are now uneven and crooked, there's still dirt underneath them, and my cuticles look awful. It was honestly the worst manicure I've ever had. The woman who did my pedicure was nice, but the quality of the work was just as disappointing. My heels actually look worse than they did before I came in, and my toenails are crooked and jagged and I'll be going home too, even them out on my own. Hieu is also very good but only works limited days of the week so it's hard sometimes to schedule with her if she's booked. I've tried over 5 different nail techs for my pedicures. Every single time the polish is applied it's sloppy and uneven. It seems if you're getting a basic $29 pedicure they rush through it. I personally don't need callus treatment so I always get the basic service. They barely massage your feet or legs. Today the nail tech (Liz) didn't even clean up the cuticle area or around the nails. She clipped and quickly filed them. The polish had bubbles, was uneven and sloppy. I still tipped her $10! Perhaps they need to wear magnifying glasses so that they can see their work.
