I came to this nail salon with Hi Hopes I'm currently 8 months pregnant I thought a great pedicure will be great. First time and last time here the lady burn my right leg with the wax I couldn't stop crying. I never been burn like that in my life. And they still charge me at the end of service so sad I payed ofcourse because I'm not such a bad person. But I could have easily not paid for burning me and I was hyperventilating because I'm 8 months pregnant and all they said was sorry and still charged me. So sad that this world is more about money than making sure they save a client. They lost a client that could have been loyal to them for years. I wouldn't recommend to nobody. Out respect for the older woman that works there who is always sweet I will not put a one star. But as of right now I will never ever be coming back here again. They are super unprofessional and personally I think they do not follow the best cleaning practices. They re-use drills and have you sitting there for upwards of an hour waiting for someone to be available. Been coming here for years but as of today it is my last time setting foot in this location, the vibe is also off because when I had my AirPods in i caught a few weird comments. I've been made to wait long periods on several occasions, but most recently I waited almost AN HOUR without even a single apology. When I told them I was leaving after 46 minutes, the tech coldly responded with "thanks." I went back to express how disappointed I was, and instead of acknowledging anything, she said "so are you leaving or staying? You said you're leaving" in front of everyone, totally dismissive. Several customers noticed how rude it was. One of them spoke to me in the parking lot outside. She never once checked in on me while I was waiting, and I wasn't the only one. Two other customers ended up leaving as well. If they had at least acknowledged me and apologized, it would have been better. They might do good nails, but the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic respect make it completely not worth it. read more

I've been coming here for almost a year & 9 outta 10 times I have a bad experience but their price is alot lower than surrounding salons & my nails done break here. The 2 worst experiences I had were waiting over 2 hours & having to leave before they could even paint my acrylic because I wouldn't wait another second. It was about 45mins before even starting then they left me soaking while they ate for about 25mins! Once the acrylic was on i left. My main issue is the price is random everytime I go here. Last time was a $60 fill so when I went back 2 weeks later it was suddenly $85 fill with no explanation. I am on a budget & cried in the car because that wasn't what I was expecting. I started going here for about 5 months, and tbh my last experience will be the last time I will be coming in. Their prices are great and hard to find at another salon, and they are actually really good at doing nails! My main issue was every time I came in, I had to wait. Not 10-15 minutes, it was always over 30+ minutes. I understand if I am a walk in, to wait that long, but each time I'd book an appointment, whether same day, a few days before or even a week prior, I had to wait. The last time I was in, I waited almost a whole hour!!!! I noticed whenever they are taking appointments over the phone, they are just agreeing with you to come in and not actually writing you down for an appointment. Every time I walked in and said I had an appointment they had no clue of who I was and what I wanted. My reason for the low rating is based off their customer service and professionalism. The environment is not welcoming at all. I had four appts this past Friday. When we arrived we were not greeted. So we sat down. A few mins later another person walks in and someone comes to ask what they need and the other lady is saying she has an appt. I chimed in saying we had the same appt time and was ignored. Another group comes in I have no idea if they had appts. My male tech I booked for my daughter comes to the front a few mins after our scheduled appt which wasn't bad and I told him my daughter has an appt with you. He took her and started her nails . His name is Nathan by the way and was the only reason I returned to this salon. As I've had similar experiences in the past with their bad customer service . So me and my other girls are waiting. One lady leaves the one that had the appt. The group that came after me they come and take and put on chairs. Still no acknowledgement to my girls and me . When I say girls I mean my 10 and 8 year old. Another group comes in and the same thing they acknowledge and seat them. Finally 45 mins after our scheduled appt a nail tech comes so I can start my pedicure. I declined as at this point my girls and I are upset that it took that long . We made an appt for a reason and honestly with how they ignored us we just wanted to leave. This was suppose to be a girls day for my daughters and It was ruined . Again this is how I've seen them be in the past like how they run the shop but I've only returned for the male techs as they are more welcoming and honestly good at what they do. After this past visit we won't be going again. Like the owner really should learn how to keep up with appointments and schedule accordingly. I dislike writing bad reviews but this was unforgivable. I have been coming here since 2021 and have referred many friends because the girls overall do a good job on nails. This review, however, does not reflect the quality of work, but more so, the customer service at SoQ. Around a month ago, I went to get a pedicure with Lisa when the store manager, Mimi, asked that I go to the back of the store because I had a manicure done outside of their store. Lisa was not done with my pedicure and I was asked to move from my seat MID PEDICURE. This was completely uncomfortable and embarrassing.
