this location is absolutely disgusting! their parking lot is filled with trash and the interior is not cleaned, at all. i spoke with the manager who told me that they do not have a budget for a cleaning crew. seriously? a pharmacy that has sick people coming in and out of it all day long to get medicine does not have anyone hired to clean it. that's beyond reprehensible!

    Clean and bright

Soooo much better than the CVS also on De Soto but about 1.5 miles away. It is clean, it is well stocked, not many products are under lock and key - and it just feels safe. And, wait for it, they have many shopping carts and bags to complete your shop. Will tell my daughter who lives close by - shop here!!!!

Walgreens does not have any patio setting and is around restaurants

Wow! There are some really angry and unhappy people working here. Horrible experience, but feel more pity for the employees than anything.

For the money I thought it would be nice to come with a product you can take home. Also, it did feel a little rushed and I only learned how to do my eyeshadow. I did have fun and enjoyed learning. I ended up buying a few things and learning some new tips.

Disappointed and Confused by the Salon Experience…read more I left this appointment feeling heartbroken and confused by the salon experience at this location. Before booking, I spent about 20 minutes on the phone trying to find the right stylist for my transitioning textured hair. I had already tried another location that did not have anyone comfortable working with textured hair, so I was excited when I was told this location did. My appointment was booked for 3:00 PM, and I was advised on the phone that the stylist might be finishing another service before starting mine. I arrived at 2:58 PM, checked in, and waited. About 5-6 minutes later, my stylist, Shatara, came over and greeted me. I explained that my original booking had been listed as a relaxer and haircut, but what I actually wanted was help trimming off the remaining relaxed ends of my transitioning hair. She asked if I wanted to perm it, and I explained that I wasn't sure. I mentioned that I thought it might be best to trim the previously relaxed ends and then braid my hair again. She asked me to give her a moment to finish blow drying her previous client and said she would be back. Around 3:32 PM, she returned and sat me in her chair. Once seated, I asked a simple question: "Do you guys offer consultations?" She replied: "No, I don't offer consultations." There was no follow-up question or explanation, so after a moment I asked: "Does anyone offer consultations?" She looked over at another stylist and said "Brittany." Brittany asked what kind of consultation I needed, and Shatara replied "consultation." Brittany began explaining her sew-in consultation service, assuming that was what I meant. I clarified that I was not looking for a sew-in consultation. I simply wanted guidance about my natural hair, its health, and my options while transitioning. At that point the conversation became confusing. Instead of asking questions about my hair or explaining what services were available, I was repeatedly asked "What do you want?" without any consultation or discussion about my hair type or goals. As someone with textured hair who was specifically told on the phone that this location had a stylist comfortable working with it, this interaction felt discouraging. I wasn't looking for anything complicated--just professional guidance and a basic conversation about the condition of my hair. Instead, I left feeling unsupported and unsure whether anyone at this location was actually comfortable working with transitioning textured hair. I hope this location considers offering basic consultations for new clients, especially those with textured or transitioning hair, so future customers don't feel as confused or dismissed as I did. I'm having such a hard time finding stylist in the area that are willing and capable of providing natural hair services.

For that very reason I'm keeping all the products I bought. Really like the packaging and how it's stackable. I've yet to test the eyeshadows all day in more humid weather so I'll update my review later. I bought dark matter, lovesick, she's in parties and haze. The metallic have a bit more fall out than I'd like but I'm going to use it again with a glitter primer and see how that plays out. All and all, seems worth it so far. Bendable and good color payoff and best part: not tested on animals!

It's a beautiful palette. At the time I had never heard of Melt Cosmetics or seen a review on YouTube. I'm one of those lunatics who watches all the booty gurus like a 16 year old. I joined the waitlist. Finally got an email that the palette was available. I logged on at 4am, hypothetical money in hand, and bought it. I was so excited when it arrived. The box it came in is so stinkin' cuuute and there were stickers and a lighter. Like I thought the lighter was some old skool chola eyeliner thing but I was informed by savvy kids it's a lighter for "smoking" because Smoke Sessions. Ohhhh. Okay. Don't mind me I'm just someone's Mom in my cardigan and ballet flats, dude. The palette was broken. I was broken when I saw it. One of the eyeshadows was cracked and broken and the debris from that break was all over the product. Even though it was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap and the box was stuffed with tons of tissue paWhich leads me to believe it was broken before it shipped. I almost cried. Yeah. Over makeup. So dramatic. But that thing cost $56 and sold out. The thought of having to return it or get a refund and maybe not get another really bugged me out. I thought about swatching it to see if it was worth keeping broken but I was worried the company would be like: "Well you uuuused it" (whiny customer service voice) and not give me my money back. It sat for three days before I finally decided "Eh. F*€! it" I used it. The colors are so deep and pigmented and buttery and perfect. I used my pinky to tap the broken shadow into place and it kinda fused together in a way I could live with. Overall, I love it. If it wasn't broken I would give a 5 star review. I can't comment on their level of customer service because I didn't contact them. Easy to order. Cute packaging. Beautiful shadows. You can make payments. If you can get it, you should. If it's broken? ... Damn. That sucks.

I asked myself if it was because I wasn't Korean? Then as I was walking out, a Latina lady walks in and before saying anything. The Korean lady started saying "no no, don't have" before the lady even said anything. She looked at me like, "what the hell?". That pretty much confirmed it. Yeah. Racist unless you're Korean. Opening a business in a country where they want to prosper to only be racist to everyone there except their own. Don't support this pathetic non-sense. Too many other options out there...

This one happens to be in the valley and very close to where I work. Even better, it is next to Greenland and a bunch of korean restaurants so get your food on afterwards. I did not want to spend more than 30 or so bucks, but boy did that not happen. I'm the kind of customer that can't say "no" and if you keep pushing, I'll just buy it all. This ahjumma hustled me and emptied my pocket! First she showed me one product then all of a sudden there were four products in front of me.......... -.- I wanted to take it slow and try one thing at a time, but oh well, full speed ahead! As long as the products do what they say, I probably won't regret it later. It is actually quite helpful to go into a store though. The ahjumma was very knowledgeable and she touched my face a little bit to see what skintype I had. I was going to go with a different product, but I think her recommendation made more sense and fit my needs better. I also get a whoooole bunch of samples including a tote bag and thermal cup. This store carried Laneige skincare & makeup, I HOPE and 1 or 2 other lines. All Korean products.
