5 Stars for what it is folks - our neighborhood greasy spoon. Sure hubs and I could head to some of the fancier places in town but why?!?! Patty's is a no frills kind of place right down the street from our house and we LOVE it. The food is great, they keep your coffee cup full and we never have to wait for a table. When I can roll out of bed throw on some jeans and a hoodie toss my hair in a messy bun and be ready to head straight to breakfast that's a win in my book and BONUS they have a punch card! This is an older diner but it's recently gotten a bit of face lift. With a fresh coat of paint and the removal of the divider wall it's had some new life pumped into it and it's not so dark and dingy anymore. If you not been back in a while, I suggest you give it another try. read more

I truly wish I could leave a Negative star review. We ate here pre C19 and it was absolutely the worst breakfast experience I've had in a longtime. The food mehhhh but the service is where this place really truly lacks. If you like people who look at you with a bad attitude and act overly rude and clearly hate dealing with people then this is the place for you and not me. Ours was the worst the other waitresses were treating there customers rudely, I mean they even treated the nice old lady hostess like crap right in front of all of us. We had a party of 4 and was absolutely appalled by this terrible person and these terrible people. How places like this stay on biz is beyond me, pattys has a pretty decent rep on the I5 corridor and this should be made to change there name. Was looking for a breakfast place & found this old time diner/bar. Lots of atmosphere, cool cozy bar area. The food was A-mazing. I ordered the red, white and blue waffle with bacon. Wow. Huge, tasty bacon, fresh, sweet blueberries and strawberries, vanilla flavoring in the waffle and 2 kinds of topping - whipped cream (real) and another maybe Bavarian creme or creme fraiche. My partner had the Belltown scramble with hashbrowns. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Serving sizes here are enormous so we could have shared the scramble and still not finish. Plan to visit again & maybe try lunch or dinner food in the bar. They serve the full menu in the bar too. read more

I've been to both the Everett and Lynnwood (Mill Creek) locations, and while the food is pretty much the same at both, I prefer the atmosphere and service at the Everett location. Lynnwood's has a more modern, updated feel, while the Everett location looks rather sketch from the outside (and the former is larger). However, the Everett location feels homier, and even if old is clean and well kept. Plus the service was waaaay nicer and friendlier (though that could have been our particular server). My bf got the greek omelette, which, despite being a GIANT platter of food, he devoured in minutes -- it was that good. There were so many hash browns he couldn't eat them all. It came with toast as well. I got my usual, the chicken fried steak, which comes with 3 eggs, hash browns, and toast. The cfs is drenched in country sausage gravy. The whole thing is simply delicious. Healthy? Uh, no. I'm not writing for a health magazine and it's not the sort of thing I would have every day. This too was a giant plate of food. Tip: If you have a Passport, you can get a free breakfast entree with the purchase of one, so a really nice, filling, and satisfying breakfast for two can be had for $11 or less (plus tax/tip). Even if you don't, they have a great deal going on right now -- a 6oz sirloin steak with 3 eggs, hash browns, and toast for $5.95 (!!!). I took my date here on our fourth date. I hope I'm counting this right. Eek! It was during the week at night. The parking in the back was easy. I found out they have a small bar and karaoke too. I was very impressed by those facts. So we sit down and order some food. She gets the club, which I'm thinking at this point she really likes club plates. (Pro tip: gals and guys, remember this stuff. It's always good to know what your date likes. You'll score some major points later. Trust me on this...) I order the big burger. So we get our food, it only took about 10 minutes. The place was dying down but worth it in the end. The club with fries was monstrous in size and taste. The big burger, hit the spot. It came with the works and mushrooms. The fries were huge and the waitress was very friendly. Conclusion: Coming back the next time I need a 1/2 burger and fries. Hands down! Worth every penny. We've become "regulars" at our local little Patty's aka "The Chuck" on Sundays. I have enjoyed many of their specials and my boyfriend loves the buffet - the bacon is thick and the biscuits are great with the freezer jam on the tables (so I've heard). One weekend they had the Joe's Italian Benedict and I've not seen it since. I inquired and the chef was kind enough to make it for me :) It's hardy for sure and I usually am sent out the door with most of it in a doggy bag. Broiled up it's just like having it at The Chuck! Have to admit, we usually enjoy a Bloody Mary or two on Sunday's are deeeeelightful and priced nice! Oh! They also have a punch card that we just recently were turned on to - a punch for each breakfast! Full card will give you $5 off your meal. I know there are a few other breakfast joints around, but give The Chuck a try and maybe we can all have a Mary (or two) together! We came in for breakfast specifically because the Totem was packed. We were starving and upon arriving my boyfriend was excited because he saw a country fried steak special. Waited out turn to be seated and were greeted by the most adorable older woman. She took our apple juice drink orders and said our waitress would be with us soon. You could see that the waitresses working were a bit stressed...it was understandable because they were a bit busy....however, the one server with dyed red hair...was completely disrespectful to her coworkers. Finally gave a try to this Patty's Eggnest at Chuckwagon Inn. Honestly we like the ambience and food at the Mukilteo location. No wait when we walked in around 11 yesterday. Waitress was very nice and friendly and had a sense of humor. This Patty will need a little update on the interior to give it a little modern and clean feel. Had the Country Fried steak with eggs and hash brown and toast. The fried steak was good with the gravy. The edge of the fried steak was still crunchy towards the end of the meal. Hashbrown was crispy. Didn't like the toast as it wasn't crispy. Hubby got the Corned Beef Hash with eggs, hash and English muffin. That was good corned beef hash was good. Mukitleo location: need to wait for food longer than Chuckwagon location. Nicer and newer interior. Food might be slightly better. Chuckwagon location: older interior but with funny phrases on wall deco. Feels like a typical diner. Food was good at our first visit of this location. Friendly and smarter with sense of humor waitress (at least the one we had), can't say for the rest with only one visit. read more

For the price and service, it's just not worth it. This place is run down, and the service has been lacking, every time we went there. The food is hit or miss, and more expensive than nicer diners in the area. Breakfast for 2 plus coffee and tip will easily set you back $40. If you get seated near the hallway, you can smell the mens bathroom. So gross. The hubs and I no longer eat there. The ham was tiny sliced deli meat that barely added up to one slice of lunch meat ham... potato O'Briens were plan old boiled potatos with no salt/pepper and no green pepper, onion. Solid old school no frills diner food. Huge portions bring your appetite. Reminds me of Denny's back before they got super corporate. If you're looking for tasty greasy spoon hangover food with pancakes as big as your head , this is the place to go. *Con's - flies in the dining area. Always makes me concerned but the bathrooms were clean and it's obvious that the building is VERY OLD and that they've tried to paint and update as best they can. - husband said his sausage was cool in the middle. Great food when i sit down to eat, but service is lacking. Takes so long for them to come by and take our orders or bring us coffee or water. Even will take others orders and bring them drinks to people that got there after us. And trying to get a coffee refill is tough too. I can drink more then one cup of coffee with my breakfast but they never get close enough to the table to politely ask them for a refill. But food is great! Unless you order to go, last time they forgot the bacon and eggs with my biscuits and gravy, and most recently not enough grazy for even one biscut. Where do I begin...ordered for takeout during stay at home because daughter really wanted pancakes and eggs and Ihop where we normally go was closed for remodeling. I got country fried steak with biscuit...first, the biscuit tasted so stale had to spit it out, then looked and saw mold. Next, the country fried steak was so small, smaller then my hand and when I took a bite, again had to spit out...the meat was so old tasting and even looking at it was like expired ground beef but stringy texture, hard to explain but could barely even cut it. Then, the hash browns were barely cooked, soggy and no brown or crisp to outside at all, inside was so oily. The only decent thing was the pancake and scrambled eggs. We went here for breakfast last Saturday. 10 minute wait to be seated, okay, no problem. What they didn't tell us was that we would have to wait an hour and twenty minutes for our food.....and if that wasn't bad enough, they screwed up the order. I got the California scramble. I hate leaving this place a negative review but I have to be honest. I want to love this place as in the past, it has been our go to place for breakfast/brunch. I would always take my family here when they came to visit from out of state and they loved it. But lately, service has been a hit or miss. The older waitresses are often exhausted and forget to attend you - which I guess can be understandable since the restaurant does tend to get busy. There is one younger gal who is like a bus girl (?) who does seem to be on top of things..they should make her one of the waitresses. Food has also become a hit or miss, I don't know if the cooking staff has been changed around but I usually always get the chilli omelette. The last time I came in, instead of chilli, they just gave me an omelette full of refried beans (which looked like canned - not fresh). I guess the cook told the waitress to tell me that it looked that way because it was at the bottom of the pot and was what is left of chilli. Um...I've been eating chilli for years and this is a pretty standard breakfast dish so I know what chilli looks like. It should have some ground beef, tomatoes, etc. I really don't appreciate being lied to about it because it just seems dishonest but I do appreciate that the waitress at least comped the dish because I discontinued to eat it. My regular breakfast spot was closed for renovation, so Country and I took a chance and came to The Chuckwagon/Patty's for a late breakfast. The interior is divey-diner and smells old and musty. The floors aren't the cleanest I've seen but it was fine. I ordered a Gyros and Eggs - Gyro meat, tomatoes, onions, and feta scramble with hashies and toast, and the bf had the Lumberjack- a massive plate full of hash brown, peppers, onions, mushies, sausage, ham bacon, cheese and eggs- a real man's breakfast. Portions were huge, and the food was definitely pretty fresh. I would call it a step up from Denny's for sure. You definitely get your money's worth eating breakfast here. The waitress we had was pretty indifferent towards us, but the lady that cashed us out was sweet as pie. I would recommend them for breakfast over a chain establishment any day, and they have an extensive menu. Basic breakfast with lots of choices for a good price in a no fuss-atmosphere. We have been to other Patty's eggnest restaurants so thought we would try the one on Evergreen today. Boy were we disappointed. It smells and it is dirty. It wasn't very crowded and we got a table right away....which was great because we were so hungry. It took awhile to get the waitress to come over, but she was pleasant enough, though we never talked to her again until I went to the register to pay. It took almost 30 minutes to get our food 10 of which we could see our food on the heating table. The food was still hot but flavorless. No one ever asked if we were ok or needed anything, didn't even bring us our check. I left a tip but only because I'm nice and it's Christmas time. I will never go back! I don't know what happened with this place but it is absolutely horrible now. We used to go ALL the time, the food was fantastic and the workers were so sweet and attentive. We went back this morning for breakfast, there was no wait but sadly the food was disgusting, it did not seem clean at all.
