Recently had lunch there with a friend. The new menu includes some Greek food. I had the souvlaki sandwich with chicken. I was very flavorful and was served with Greek fries with feta cheese...yum. My friend had an omelet and they willingly change out and in ingredients to make it to her taste. It came with fired potatoes and toast. It was also terrific. They were short staffed and Brenda our server was very kindly and efficiently taking care of the whole restaurant. Kudos to Mr. G and his staff in the kitchen. Brenda told us they are the best and the kitchen it the cleanest she has ever seen. They have a special staff that sees to that each evening after closing. Be sure to try it out. read more

Great place to bring a three year old grandchild. The servers prepared tasty chicken nuggets for him right away before our orders came. The adults loved the flavor on the freshly made nuggets. The booths seat six easily. They serve breakfast and lunch, plus a different menu for dinner with beer, wine, and a full bar. I love breakfast for lunch, so I enjoyed my cheese omelet and perfect hashbrowns. The Greek salad was gigantic, more lettuce than a traditional greek salad, but fresh. We went on a late Sunday morning around 10:30ish. The folks who served us were very friendly and smiling faces. Definitely a 5 star for service. Kept checking for my coffee refills. Ordered the banana bread French toast and the classic French toast. The classics wasn't that tasty and more bland whereas the banana bread French toast was good. I use to frequent this spot and loved the chicken fried steak. I then found a better option in Everett at the strawberry patch. Today I went to the strawberry patch but due to the festival the menu was limited and they were not offering the chicken fried steak. Well on the door it said under new management with patty's eggnest posters everywhere. Not sure what's happening because the website says tetos bought it but tetos is not good. We waited a half an hour for our chicken fried steak breakfast we were so hungry and the flavor was not there but what was worse is we left not feeling so great and thank goodness for two bathrooms since we live close by we headed home. A mixed review..... THE GOOD Our server was super upbeat, friendly and attentive. The place was clean and looked fresh. The food tasted fine. The meatballs had a great, crispy outside. I think they may deep fry it THE BAD They made my Corned Beef Reuben with Roast Beef. The server told the cooks before bringing it out, but they insisted it was correct. THE UGLY The biggest issue is that they have totally different concepts depending on the time of day. Lunch is Pizza and sandwiches and dinner is Greek. That's not The UGLY part even though I think it is not a good business model. The ugly is that on the Greek menu, they fine print a 3.5% upcharge if you use a credit card and the lunch menu doesn't say it at all but they still do it. I have NEVER gone to a restaurant that tells you they will charge more if you use a credit card. Adjust your prices if needed. read more

Have been meaning to try this spot for a long time. Recently under new management and the name is listed slightly different online and another way on the door. Don't think they have quite got everything down yet, still adjusting perhaps. Seems a little lost. On a good note Everything was neat and clean and felt welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were the only customers at 8am so we got good service. The food was pretty average and on par with your typical basic chain breakfast house. Nothing bad, just nothing that stood out or was as fresh as I would like. We may give it another try once the new management has more time to get adjusted, but we will really need to see it stepped up a bit. read more

The food is nasty and the service is horrible. We went for brunch. The place was pretty empty, but it took over 15 minutes, close to 20 to get the initial greeting from our waitress after being seated. We watched the waitress give everyone else water and coffee, but she did not acknowledge us, even after several moments of making eye contact. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt because they seemed to be loading a catering order as well, but still did not get service until well after that. Not even initial coffee and water. After getting our food, I was even more disappointed because the food was gross. No seasoning, something that obviously was "microwaved" level food. I will not be returning. This is an update to all my other updates. Were here again this morning. Remains a 2 star at best. Since the last time, it looks like they've gotten rid of their dessert/gelato case. They still have the case for desserts (although it was very bare this morning). The sewer stench returned. However, looks like they dropped their prices a little bit. But with that, you also get a sad looking portion of food. I didn't get a picture of my husband's omelet and hash browns, but my 3 eggs and hash browns looked pathetic. I think they went to using small eggs instead of large. I saw 3 yolks, but seriously there was probably the whites of 1 egg. They served the eggs and hash browns on a large plate (which by the way it looks like they got new plating). They could have at least put the toast on there too to make it look like you've got some food to eat. Usually when my husband orders his omelet with hash browns, I am amazed that he eats it all plus his toast... today I looked at his order (too bad I didn't get a picture of it) and thought heck, I don't think it would even satisfy me if I were hungry. I noticed they must've changed the menu (obviously with price change), the seafood omelet now says crab meat, and it actually is real crab meat. Whereas the "Oscar" says surimi. For the past many months the seafood omelet said crab meat but you got the fake stuff, that was totally misleading. My husband said he would have rather paid the extra few dollars they were charging and get more food, than to go back down a few dollars and hardly get anything. read more

Came here recently to try it. Parking was fine for us but I could see it being tricky since it's in a buisness strip mall. Loved the look of the restaurant, high ceilings with windows letting in light. Cool artwork on the walls, and it was very clean inside. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good but felt like basic diner food to me (which it is a diner). So no complaints but didn't feel it was anything overly special. I got a Dr. Pepper since they were out of ice cream for milkshakes (which I was bummed since diners make the best!). The pop was flat. My dad got a root beer and his was fine so maybe just my flavor was going out? Overall nothing crazy special but I would stop here again for the friendly service and to try a milkshake next time I get a sweet tooth. read more

I can't speak for the lunch and dinner menu, but the breakfast is overpriced and very unwhelming. I paid over $18 for what I thought was going to be a house made corned beef hash plate based on the pictures on yelp and what I got was from a can, and cold. And missing the hashbrowns. I waited 30 minutes and paid $18 for cold, canned corned beef, cold toast and service from a gal who never asked how the food was, maybe she already knew what my answer would be. I left hungry and frustrated, so I probably won't be going back. If you're hankering for good diner food I recommend you go elsewhere. read more

Yeah, this place is LEGIT!!! I've only been here since Teto took ownership.....the food is incredible. Last week we wandered in because it was the only place with no massive wait for Sunday breakfast. I always cringe at prices on menus , as things have gotten expensive all over! But the quality and quantity is well worth it here!!!! I ordered the biscuits n gravy- hoping it would be good, as I'm super picky. It was actually to die for!! The dish included bacon- BIG thick pieces and soooo yummy!! Eggs over medium- like these were PERFECT too! I opted for the potatoes O'brian, because I'm not a bit hash brown fan. Red potatoes sautéed (I assume) with onions and peppers- NO GREASE at all!! Sausage gravy was perfect consistency, not over thickened with goopy flour and nice, SIMPLE flavoring- not some over spiced creative blend- this was real, like grandma used to make. Biscuits were perfect, not too thick, and were a terrific compliment with the gravy! We returned today for early dinner, but couldn't resist the breakfast (again lol).....I ordered the fancy orange (the name escapes me) French toast- I was blown away! Huge portion of nice thick French toast with an incredible dreamy orange cream sauce bathed over the top ...and REAL whipped cream. My daughter ordered the apple French toast - just as incredible . Went for dinner, seems it has changed ownership in the past few months. Right now not sure it knows what it is, identity crisis. Diner, Pizzeria , Greek Restaurant.?? Maybe should pick one and do it really really good. We were one of three tables, and waited 30 min for a very good hamburger and a lack luster hot turkey sandwich. Had a nice waiter but once we finally got our food, we never saw him again. He knew I was a little perturbed I think. With husbands hot sandwich came a "salad". Was nothing but lettuce. Crispy, but really? That's not a salad. They just got a new pizza oven and the pictures look great. Maybe that is what they should concentrate on. Hubby had a day off and we wanted to try out a new place. I was happy to find this place right around the corner from our home! It is set up like an old fashioned diner. The music and decor all have a 50's vibe going on. We didn't go during rush time (we like to avoid crowds when possible). Our visit was during lunch time on a week day. There may have been 3-4 other parties there at the same time, so nice and quiet, but not a library either. The waitress was very friendly and great at checking up on us frequently. There looked to be seating options at booths, tables or at the bar area. There were also TVs up for customers to glance at while enjoying a meal. I ordered the California Omelet (pictured) and it was delicious! It came with an order of hashbrowns and toast. If I remember correctly the price for my plate was around $15. My husband ordered a pancake combo for around $13. That included eggs and bacon. He had no complaints either! The pricing was about a 5/10. Not cheap, but also not ridiculously expensive. We decided to try it one-more-time yesterday, the place is nearly empty as others have caught on as well. It took over 30 minutes to get our breakfast food, and then it was not what we ordered. So we have decided to cut our losses as eating out prices are already outrageous but to combine it with poor service and not what you order, well that's it for us. On the good side they did not change their coffee. Before their last good waitress left, she stated the new owner does not pay well and here are little to no benefits. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS RESTAURANT I used to come to this restaurant regularly when it first opened. I lived about 5 minutes away from it from 2003-2006. Even when I moved to Marysville, any time I was coming anywhere near this restaurant, I would come here. I would usually only come on weekends, because they USED TO HAVE THE BEST OMELETTE I EVER HAD ANYWHERE, BAR NONE! I would rave about this omelet to co-workers, family, people who lived/came from out of town. It is/was the Seafood Omelet, only served on Sat & Sun. Normally, it has crab, shrimp, scallops, green onions and cheese inside of it, with hollandaise sauce/cheese on top. And, by the way, the best hollandaise sauce I've ever tasted at the time. I had ordered this so much, that when I would eat in, the waitresses wouldn't ask me what I wanted lol and when I ordered to go, they knew who I was. Over the years, it's expected that staff change, cooks change, even ownership changes. But up until about a year ago, THAT Omelete did not change, no matter who the staff was and who was cooking it. However, the past few times I've ordered the omelet. this is what's happened; a, notes missed on Ubereats order, so I had to resort to calling in and giving instructions. That's probably something they need to rectify, some people have food allergies b. The omelet portion is way smaller than it used to be c. the omelet has been dry the past few times I've ordered it d. the hollandaise sauce has changed, and it tastes terrible. I'm sad and sorry to say that I will not be patronizing 112th Street Diner anymore. I know they have other things on the menu, I know that things change, but I'm a creature of habit and how you keep me as a customer is leaving things the way they are. We'd like to give them a big ZERO. They used to be good, but certainly aren't anymore. The only positive was that the wait staff tried to do their job well. There were so many clues that we should have seen before we ordered, like the fact it was empty during lunchtime and the bathroom was yucka. Our food took an hour and half to come to the table because management had apparently left a brand new cook on his own, and speed nor cooking were his assets. Two of four meals were decent. The other two were not edible. The bill was over $100. We'd already paid because we needed to eat quickly by then and take our food to go. Great spot for a quick breakfast. Service was very quick and we were able to put in our order and then food came surprisingly fast. We got the country fried steak and the Greek omelette. food was delicious in portion size was enough to split the meal into and save some for leftovers.it was a little bit pricey for what you got however if I got one of the seafood dishes I think it would be well worth the price. It was almost $40 for two people including tip. Ultimately, very standard diner food for breakfast. Definitely better than IHOP or Denny's read more

This used to be one of our favorite breakfast places. We haven't been since they changed hands and what a disappointment. Even though the restaurant was virtually empty the hostess seated us over near the bathrooms. There is a distinctive sewer gas smell in that section. She handed us menus and said that "Brandon" would be with us shortly. We perused the menu and realized most of our favorite items were gone. I don't usually leave a bad review but I can't let this one go. My wife and I ordered one meat lovers omelette with rye bread toast, one border of the south omelette no olives with one pancake on the side. It took more than 45 mins to receive our food on the table. When I looked at our food quality it was total garbage. Burnt & dried hash browns also omelettes were totally over cooked. Plus they screwed up our orders. I asked for the rye bread toast not white bread also my wife asked the server not to put olives in her omelette but they put a lot of olives in the omelette. Let customers know if you guys are busy or understaffed in the first place. Servers need to check what they are serving and must double check if the order is right before they send out the food to the customer. Also apologize to the customers when you screw up the order. Service, quality of food and time management is totally garbage here. Please do not waste your money and time here. There are far better restaurants out there to treat customers better and serve quality food. read more
