And I'm back again. Great place for date night. Nice location, with easy parking options. Make a reservation during dinner. The food has been consistently excellent.

Beautiful night and a chance to break away from kids for date night, so we decided to head to Rare Society for happy hour. Unfortunately the place is not living up to expectations, our favorite smash burger was exclusively salted, the beef skewers were all poor choices of meat loaded with gristle. The highlight was the Cesar salad. Might have to give them some time before we try this again.

The place was a little packed on a Saturday night, so we sat at the bar! The service was totally amazing! We were constantly being refilled and checked on! Loved it!!! The food is sooo flavorful and nicely presented! The bacon fell apart completely!!! The meats in the executive platter were just beautifully cooked & carefully placed on the platter with blissfully flavorful! You won't go wrong if you order this as a meal...AND last but not least the mashed potatoes with lobster was sooo delicious!!! This was the first time I've ever had this pairing and I will request it forever!!! The seating varies from booths, four tops and bar seating. The lights were low and romantic! My date and I truly loved the space, food and magical foods! Clean restrooms. Parking lot!

We went to Rare Society for my dad's birthday dinner and everyone at the table was very impressed with the food. Not one dish was disappointing, my personal favorites were the Caesar salad and the truffle butter rolls. Our party was quite large and we had two severs to accommodate us on a busy Saturday night. Both of them were so kind and friendly, they made sure to explain everything to both sides of the table and even though my mom's dinner was a teeny bit behind all of the other dishes the staff made sure we did not feel like she was forgotten. I loved the open concept of the restaurant and particularly the light fixtures-- they gave it a moody feel in the best kind of way. It was a bit too loud for all of us to have a conversation but in a bustling restaurant that is to be expected

Was recommended by coworkers to try this steakhouse and it did not disappoint. It had a nice, modern atmosphere. Comfy couches. Our server, Nahoum, was super nice and very professional. We got the miso carrots, associate board (medium rare), rolls, and the whipped potatoes. The miso carrots were a bit spicier than I expected. I probably wouldn't get that again, I can't handle the spice very well. The associate board was delicious. My favorite cut was the Denver cut. I love that they include sauces for the board as well. This unique thing was what drew me to the restaurant. The crisp/edges of all the steak were perfectly cooked. Whipped potatoes and rolls were excellent. For dessert, we let our server choose between the banana foster cheesecake and the butter cake. We were very happy with his choice! Our bellies left full and happy. Just a note on parking - the lot was surprisingly full! Next time, I might try catching the happy hour (only in bar area).

So good! Finally got a chance to try this spot for happy hour and I'm so glad I did! The restaurant has such a nice cozy art deco vibe. Customer service from the time I walked in until we left was good and the team was great about keeping our water glasses full at all times. My friend and I shared the Brussels sprouts and grilled artichoke - both were delicious and prepared perfectly. I had the tuna tartar and loved that for my dinner. My friend had the smash burger and said it was the juiciest burger she's ever had and that it tasted like steak. My old fashioned was the best I've ever had as well. We finished the meal off with bananas foster and the Tempranillo. It was a lovely happy hour and next time I'll be back for the shrimp scampi and lobster tail.

Have to start by saying how thrilled I am to have a steak house of this quality north of Bellevue or Seattle. I wouldn't put this at the same level as the Met or Daniel's, but it did scratch that itch for me and many things we ate were fantastic. It's located in an unsuspecting strip mall so you wouldn't expect a lot, but on the inside the place is gorgeous. Very moody and gatsby-ish. Service was great, our waiter was attentive and made good recommendations. He let us know to put our whole order in at once because they rest the steaks and it can take a while. We started with the Parker house rolls and crab dip. For dinner we had waygu, lobster mashed potatoes and miso carrots. Lobster mashers were absolutely to die for. Sadly the carrots were burnt to hell. I feel like burnt veggies are in at steak houses right now and I don't understand why, it always comes with some disclaimer like "our veggies are intentionally charred to get you the flavor of the grill", like no they are black they are literally carbon it doesn't taste good. Oh well though, that is forgiven since everything else was good. It is pricey, you can easily expect to spend $300-400 for two people if you order apps and drinks. I have heard there are some good week night happy hour specials and will have to come back to try those.

Rare is always an awesome dining experience. We came in with a group of eight and they delivered at the highest level. A massive thank you to Bobby, our server and his sidekick Connor. They took such great care of us all night long. We started with drinks and appetizers. The drinks are always healthy pours and the cocktails are masterpieces. The main courses... oh my... we shared a platter of meat and every cut was just as delicious as the last. Perfectly cooked and seasoned beautifully! The seafood tower was another epic masterpiece! The snow crab, shrimp, and tuna were so fresh and flavorful! We got a couple grilled shrimp and they were my absolute favorites. They complimented the steaks so well! Awesome job to the whole RS Team! Thank you! Awesome food, awesome service, awesome venue!!!

Excellent experience in Mill Creek! Came here to try something new and was not disappointed. Servers were attentive but gave you space. Brought my own wine from home. I think the corkage fee was around $35. Ordered the associate board with 3 different cuts that were all delicious. All the sides ordered were paired well. This steakhouse is a little far from where I live but I could see myself coming back probably once a year.

    The executive

Mmm I had high hopes for this place since there were so many good reviews. We didn't have a reservation and just walked in on a Sunday night and got seated right away since it was not busy. The server was amazing though!! Loved her and kept checking in on us throughout the meal. The executive was very underwhelming with the price at $200. There were six of us and I guess we could have gotten two but the meat cuts were alright plus we got sides. I love the variety of sauces it came with but they were all okay to me. I kept alternating sauces since I didn't really have a favorite. Parker house rolls were soft but all I tasted was butter and I get it's suppose to be covered in butter but it kind of tasted like I was eating a spoonful of melted butter. The onion rings were super sour. It might be because they were pickled fried onion rings but kind of hard to eat because they were so sour and eating it with the sauce didn't help lessen the sourness, it added more sourness. They were very oily too so they weren't that crunchy. I thought the crab dip was okay but my brother really liked it!! I liked the bread it came with. We also got the roasted asparagus and roasted mushrooms. I personally didn't eat those but my family did and they said they were both salty. The whipped potatoes were really good though and super creamy!! We were here for my dad's birthday and they give you a scoop of ice cream which was nice!!

Looking for a place that brings a different approach a dining experience, this is that place. This upscale gem brings warmth to the heart and the senses with the ambiance and wood fire food. Suggest enjoying the amazing cocktails and desserts during your visit as those are perfect finishes to the food that you won't regret. Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 5/5 We ordered the associate board. The quantity is plenty. They serve 2 wagyu cuts. The sauces were tasty and delicious. Salsa and steak sauces tasted too good with the steaks. Perfect combination for the steak. The bone marrow was also great with little salty. One thing I felt was the steak was not hot and are more on the warm type. After waiting for 30 min serving it like warm is little disappointed We also ordered the berry crème dessert. This was okish. Service was little slow. But the waitress was friendly. One thing to notice is that they charge 4% surcharge for every order. You need to explicitly tell them to remove irrespective of the party count. We were only 2 and the fact is that you need to explicitly ask them to remove before billing is weird. Price is more on the costly side Ambiance was great. Clean and classy. Plenty of parking available in the mall.

First time dining at Rare Society, highly impressed by their intuitive and thoughtful hospitality. Hands down the most attentive service we've had in a long while. I love that they're well versed in family style dining as we like to order small plates and share. They made this easy, and also coursed out our order with perfect timing. Of the items we selected tonight, everything was exquisite. Fresh, flavorful, great presentation. We only got seafood, I look forward to their beef selection the next time we're in! What a lovely addition to Mill Creek. Highly recommend for happy hour in the lounge, or the full, upscale dining experience!

We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.

The picked peppers were shortcut with Mama Lil's (one can recognize them), and while good, they just were not what I would expect in an Italian Beef Dip. But here we are, 2025 and with time to kill decided to give this neighborhood watering hole another go. First off, since we were there during the day it wasn't too busy which was kinda nice. Because it's kind of a small pub it would be horribly crowded, even with their outside seating on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Lotsa T.V. with sports and nice island-style tunes with a noise level where you can have a conversation w/o having to repeat yourself or yell. Service was good, mostly due to the time of day, light crowd, so we were able to sit where we wanted, given menus, ordered drinks. Our server was personable, made regular check ins and food time from order to service was perfect. Now what motivated me to write this review was mainly because of the food. Because honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. With the Island /Hawai'i thing being their theme, some of their menu that reflected that. So I decided I'd give some of my island favorites a try, of course with some lowered expectations. I mean I've eaten at some local island/Hawaiian places here in Western Washington run by islanders that were subpar and some cases bad. The meals I gauge would the loco moco and spam musubi. So at the Twisted Lime, that's what ordered. Wifey had a big ol' plate of their Nacho Mama. Her take, loved it. Perfect as not so much stuff on it to make the chips all soggy, go good amount of toppings, nice crisp chips and the guacamole, super tasty. My meal, I was pleasantly surprised. The musubi was excellent. That being a good SPAM to rice ratio, nice strip of nori and good flava. In case you wonder, most good musubi should have a piece of SPAM at least 1/2 thick, and rice 3x that. Place that cheap out give a sliver of SPAM and a butt-ton of rice. Examples of poorly made musubi: the ones they make at Town and Country Market in Mill Creek and Marination at T-Mobile. If you like 'em from those places, good on you. But if you ever had a well made, well proportioned one, you'll never go back. Examples of local perfect musubi: Sushi Spott so far has my number one spot, but Hawaiian Sun in Everett, and as of this review, Twisted Lime has damn good musubi. Now for their Loco Moco. First off, damn fine presentation, second off, "ONO GRINDZ". I wouldn't say broke da mout, but pretty damn close. Good proportions of rice, good amount of gravy with good flava, two beef patties, also with good flava and a nice egg over-easy. My only comments are, 1. For their loco moco price ($18), only one egg? I know that most loco mocos I've made or ordered, standard (especially in Hawai'i), two eggs brah! 2. If you wanna do the whole Aloha theme, Hawaiian mac is a standard/complementary side of any Hawaiian meal. Not something to be added to the price. Any plate lunch includes Hawaiian mac. Seriously, Google Search images. Kinda like burgers, fries should always be included, so bravo to the places that do that and shame on the ones that charge over $10.00 for a burger and don't include fries. 3. For a neighborhood bar, I'm surprised it isn't family friendly for a time. Example, the Savage Moose in Kenmore, sports bar, FF until 2100 hours. 4. No smoking or vaping in the outdoors seating? It's.....outdoors. It's not like you're out there for the view unless you enjoy the view of other businesses and a neighborhood street. But whatever. Bottom line, the food tasted good and didn't disappoint. Good solid service (can't speak to when it gets crazy busy). Star lost on the above comments, but otherwise I would definitely go there again. If anything I'm now curious of how their Kalua Pork is, comparatively speaking to what I know is good Kalua Pork.
