I only just discovered Pat's about a month ago. I think I am now 6, or 7 orders in! The pie is NY-style, with a thin bottom, and respectable outer ring on the crust. I am forever asking pizzerias for "light" sauce, but there's no need here. It certainly doesn't overwhelm the cheeze and toppings. I prefer granulated sausage, rather than sliced like it's pepperoni. Pat's has it down! I've had the wings twice now, and they are meaty, and done exactly as I order them. It's predominately a take-out style place, with just a couple of tables. Not a 'date-night' atmosphere, LOL. If you are anywhere near them in the central city corridor, try them out! read more

We've tried a number of neighborhood pizza spots in Phoenix that advertise a New York style. This is the first one we've tried that's on point with all the basics we are looking for. Thin crust but still chewy, good taste and you can hold, fold and eat a piece from 16" pie without needing a knife and fork. Sauce - sweet but not overly and in the right amount. We picked up an order for pizza and chicken wings. Both were very good! I especially enjoyed the wings, they were crispy & wet just how I like'em. Even ate some behind the wheel....hahaha, kind of my thing to do. I like to munch and drive, especially when I have a co-pilot. The pizza had a bit more cheese for my liking but I enjoyed (splurged) it while it was hot ! The staff are friendly and efficient. Pizza was GREAT! I called in, they said 5 minutes and my order was hot ready and waiting when I got there! (I work 3 minutes away). The dining room area is a little small/cozy, so I don't think that I would eat in, especially during rush times. I've only been there once, but the lunch special is definitely worth going back for! 2 cheese slices (huge fold-able New York Style slices) and a nice sized drink under $6! Or 1 slice and a salad w/ drink for the same. With this first impression, I'm willing to go back and try more from the menu! Good Job Pat's. I have been eating here for about six years. It was recommended by a local and I have been liking it. I actually used to pick up a pizza from here at least two or three times per month. They were frequently out of the zucchini sticks though. The last time I ate here about two months ago I ordered a supreme veggie something and I am pretty sure the veggies were bad or spoiled because all of our house had an upset stomach for a whole week after eating this pizza. This is a neighborhood favorite of ours. The definite go to for pizza and wings. Has been spot on every time. At the location you can get pizza by the slice or the whole pie. I recently (April 2022) gave this establishment 5 stars. It was amazing. Key word: WAS!!! Pizza completely over cooked. Not just today, I'm not that unforgiving- last 2 times in a row. I mean HARD. You could beat a nail the the wall with their crust. Like when you put your pizza down it shouldn't sound like you dropped a rock on your plate. No joke- H A R D !! Their antipasto salad went from being my absolute favorite to being disappointed!! They claimed they have a new supplier for some of their food items. Yet the lettuce itself is different. But after a quick search I found Pats Pizza Plus. I got the lunch special that had the 2 slices of cheese pizza and a coke. I added ham to one and pepperoni to the other. The soft drinks they offer are coke products. The food we ordered came out fast! The quality of the pizza was great. Its a New York style pizza, cheezy and a nice crispy crust and not too much sauce. Pats also has alot of other dishes that are on the menu and hope to one day try. Amazing service during these hectic times when everyone is ordering takeout through various apps. They handle the volume of take out business well including Friday nights! We ordered thru Yelp/grubhub which is clunky on their end and they didn't get the order until about 10 minutes after we ordered thru Yelp but I called and they were super helpful and finished our order at the time we needed it! Thank you Pats for going above and beyond!! It hit me yesterday that we've been ordering Pat's Pizza for almost ten years and I've never written a review. There are so many types of pizza. If I'm in the mood for a pizza and wings to go with a beer and a football game, Pat's is my favorite. Their prices are reasonable. The pizza reminds me of some of my favorite places on the east coast, and their wings are really good. If you live around them, they also do their own delivery, which is really nice. Horrible customer service ... Ordered off GrubHub, Pats messed up the order, Manager then told me to call GrubHub myself and get a refund. Manager told me that the app was really poor in design and that I had to go call GrubHub myself to go fix the order and that it was unfortunate that he has trouble seeing order quantity because it's in tiny boxes and that they basically didn't pay any attention and that it wasn't his fault they misread the order. Then he hung up on me when I said it was poor business to tell the customer to go fix the problem. As a sidenote whoever the owner of Pats is maybe you shouldn't hire millennials to manage your business because they can't take any criticism in the end they don't care about your business. read more
