Didn't take any pictures sorry. I ate here back to back nights as I was staying in the holiday in right next to it. First night I had the Texas French toast with ham sausage and bacon. I only enjoyed the French toast. Honest to god I couldn't eat the sausage at all. Grey links I think microwaved. No sear marks from grill. Gross. Bacon was paper thin bacon I get at the free holiday inn breakfasts. Ham was covered in grease and I ate like 1/3. French toast had about 1/3 cup of fluffed butter dumped on top that I scooped off my plate. Night 2 I had the ribs special to go.Not good. Tender yes. Overcooked yes. I could tell how these were cooked. Dry rub applied then put in a slow cooker. They covered them with BBQ sauce on the to go plate but the spongy layer of seasoning was yuck. So it came with 2 sides. I had fries and mixed veggies. Both good but how can you screw those up. The menu said I'd get a soup and salad also but that wasn't included. In hindsight I'm an idiot for ordering ribs at a dinner like this. I should have known better. I think they can make pancakes waffles and French toast well. Eggs and omelets also. And probably burgers and fries. But anything more fancy then that I'd steer clear. Stick to the items you can get at a dennys and you will most likely be happy. I think they could afford some more talent in the kitchen and also buy better quality food. The bacon and sausage they serve are the cheapest you can find and it effects the final product. read more

Generous (very generous) portions and the classic diner atmosphere make this place a great spot for breakfast or a quick bite. We've been a few times and have found it always satisfying and appreciated the leftovers. Taste-wise nothing is outstanding, but nothing is bad either. Good Lord, save your time and money. Subpar service and attitude from wait staff.... we ordered clam chowder, they clearly took it right from the fan and put it in the bowl because it was extremely extremely clumpy and hard textured .... rest of the food was just ok. We were on our way back from Twin River Casino and needed a place to eat at 9:00 on a Sunday night. What better place than a diner. Although it was empty (never a good sign for a restaurant), we decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and food was okay. We opted for dinner food. The breakfast food was probably a better choice. The soup was decent. Thick but flavorless. The Chicken pot pie was very good. Enough to feed two and with some seasonings added was enjoyable. The meatloaf was over cooked and just horrible. That went back and was replaced by stuffed peppers. That was just okay. All in all I've had much better diner food, but not in the area. Worth a try if in the area, but I wouldn't go far out of my way to eat here. read more

A few years ago, my family came upon this place by accident. Now anytime we're anywhere remotely nearby, we make an effort to stop. Our most recent visit was on a Saturday evening, and the joint was hopping - apparently there was some sort of little league baseball situation happening. Kids sprawled the diner bar. We were sat very quickly. However, once we got to our table in a back corner, we were given one menu for the four of us, and told "don't worry, I'll be back with more in just a moment." Fast forward 15 minutes, we're still sitting there, our waitress no where to be found. We'd had enough time for all four of us to peruse the 4 page menu and decide what to eat. Finally my dad flagged a server who was assisting the table directly behind us, who told us that she was not our designated server. We waited about 5 more minutes until we finally ordered our drinks and food. I get it- they were busy, and probably were not expecting a crowd of 15 little leaguers and their families. Our waitress was kind enough and did her best, but we were disappointed in the service none the less. However - this place still gets 4 stars. It's not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, just a solid New England diner. The portions are massive, the prices are great, and the food is very tasty. Someone at the table next to me ordered the fried clam strips, and it was easily enough food for three people. I went plain, and ordered the burger - it was a solid sandwich and cooked perfectly as ordered. Service could be improved, maybe more staffing? But the portions, value, and taste are on point. This is a classic diner that had a lot of great selections. The restaurant was clean. The wait staff was very accommodating. I had eggs with rye toast, corn beefed hash and home fries. I have also enjoyed the mushroom bacon cheeseburger that came with fries that were cooked to perfection. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Close to Landmark hospital. read more

It's a 24/7 dinner. If you staying st the holiday in is a good option. Prices are not as bad as they could be. I ordered pickup food here and it was fine. Just stay away from BBQ sauce here and in Rhode island in general. They put cinnamon on it... Other than that pretty cute place. read more

We had a late breakfast here today, and it was unbelievably busy for 1130 on a Monday. However service was quick, polite, friendly, and efficient. Food was served reasonably quickly in huge portions which were perfectly prepared in every way. I will definitely be going back, as will my breakfast mates. read more

First of all the water sucks. It tastes like dirty dish water. I wanted to throw up after drinking it. I feel bad wasting water, but I couldn't survive after one sip. Also the waitress was kinda a witch with a b. We came in with a large group. I understand that's really annoying. I felt bad, but she gave us so much attitude about it. They brought out food so randomly. Half my table was finished when the other half was just starting. My friend even said "This makes Friendly's look good." The grilled chicken wrap definitely wasn't the best. The lettuce tastes old and the wrap overall lacks flavor. However the pickle on the side was on point. The mozzarella sticks were not good. They weren't horrible, but honestly when I buy frozen ones that I bake in the oven they taste better. Fries are also weird. Most of them were too crispy. The ketchup taste rancid. In addition the lights hung really low. We hit our heads multiple times. Also you should fix the wall and Starbucks would've been better. read more

Their Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches were the best, as well as their Fries. I wasn't the fan of many other items but the food were GOOD! Lol

Very cool vintage diner atmosphere. I had a burger and my girlfriend had the generic American breakfast (eggs, toast, bacon etc..) Food was average and nothing was offsetting and what we were expecting. The portions were big and prices were fair, would go again! read more

I came here for breakfast with my two small children and had to wait 30 minutes for our order to be taken and more than 90 minutes to receive our food. The portions are large but the food is mediocre and for the length of time we had to wait it was extremely disappointing. read more

Truly was suprised by this small Diner. I work the overnight shift, and the only thing available was this, Mcdonalds and Taco Bell. I needed something to eat since i didn't have anything to eat before i left the house. I ordered the Texas cheese burger deluxe, even though, the egg was over cooked to my liking, the meal didn't disappoint. Giant size burger, with a truly over proportion size fries with some coleslaw on the side with a pickle. For $9, this was definately worth it. i was full and i had left overs. The patriot diner will definately see me more often when i am hungry. There's a wide array of food, that i can definately get something different each time. I was worried that at 1am, the place would be a ghost town so the food would prob not be fresh, but when i had walked in this place was packed, so i knew i found the right place to eat overnight. read more

There aren't too many 24 hour diners in the area, so I was excited to find this place. They have a pretty big menu, so you should be able to feed your cravings. After reading the reviews of this place I almost thought I had the wrong restaurant - but we definitely went to the Patriots Diner in Woonsocket. The husband got out of work late so he wanted something yummy that was open late (11pm) but we didn't want to go to Providence. After arriving there the temperature seemed kind of stuffy, like the air conditioner needed to be turned on ASAP! He wanted a strawberry milkshake and he literally got it- ON HIS SHIRT! I understand mistakes happen since we are human but damn she didn't even apologize until she came back with a mop! Then she gave him a wet - smelly- dirty rag to wipe his shirt (LAWD HAMMERCY)! Where is the bathroom lady?! I would've walked out but I wasn't about to cook at that time, so after we calmed down we decided to order. I ordered the Sirloin tips with Mash Potatoes and cole slaw - it was BAD! The mash potatoes looked exactly as the name describes it. Potatoes that were mashed with no seasoning added. The Cole slaw tasted a bit on the tart side - I tasted better at KFC. The tips were cooked how I asked so that ended up being the only thing I ate on my plate. After almost a month of driving past Patriots Diner about twice a day, finally stopped in for breakfast/brunch yesterday. For a late Sunday morning - short wait, long stay without being rushed to leave, great service. I had heard great things about the diner - full menu, large portions, and open 24 hours. A late Sunday morning visit wouldn't allow me to test the quality of food and service of an overnight visit, but I now have something to look forward to! In short, the portions were perfect. Our server listened to our food preferences and was able to make great suggestions. None of us were disappointed. Food came out hot, fresh and made to our specifications. And yes, the portions are HUGE! I have a pretty decent appetite, and I couldn't finish my meal. Made excellent leftovers, though. Patriots Diner passed my other two benchmark tests for diners/breakfast places. The coffee was hot, fresh, and plentiful, and the service (even with a wait and a very busy dining room) was friendly and attentive. There was even a young woman making balloon animals for the younger kids in the room...nice touch! Don't be alarmed if you think that the prices are slightly higher than you might expect for a diner. The portion sizes and the deliciousness of the food more than make up for the 'sticker shock'. Looking forward to going back! read more

We love patriots diner. We go here all the time. Today I was feeling under the weather so my boyfriend decided to go pick up breakfast for us. He ordered the steak tip breakfast, every time we have ever gone there, since he has a gluten allergy for the side of toast t comes with and also doesn't like eggs he requests to get a second side of home fries instead of the toast and eggs. The girl on the phone said "sorry we can't do that" to which he replied "I have an allergy that doesn't allow me to eat these things this is an accepting that has been made every time I come here" so she said "I'll have to check with my manager" and comes back on the phone to say "sorry, she said were gonna have to charge you the full price for the steak tip breakfast and also charge you for an extra side of home fries if that's what you want" This is the last time I will ever eat here, or ever suggest it to someone. Very pleased to see that this was a popular, and clean diner. Has classic breakfast options as well as lunch and dinner. Opt'd got the chicken tender basket. Fries and chicken were fresh, hot and crisp! The Ranch dipping sauce was AMAZING .(and I'm all about my ranch) Service was a bit slow but it was because it was a busy afternoon. Very helpful and kind service, and relatively fast good once ordered. The restrooms were clean and convent. They also have the "to-go" option. Which I may have to do for lunch! I don't usually go out to eat alone.. but while dyingggg of starvation, I decided to stop at Patriots Diner for breakfast. It was probably the charming old school diner feel that sucked me in, and I was not disappointed. The coffee was strong and didn't taste cheap (as most little diner's do). I couldn't resist asking if they could do eggs benedict with corned beef has instead of canadian bacon (it's go big or go home, right?) The waitress was very sweet and on top of my refills (I am a caffeine junky). My food came out very quick and the portions was dangerous considering how hungry I was. Oddly enough for the appetite I built up... I couldn't even finish half of it. The mountain of golden home fries and river of Hollandaise sauce lead me to a food coma. But it was worth it. I am giving this place 3 stars. In some ways it rates a 4 star and in others a 2 star. so 3 stars seems fair First off, this is not a "destination" diner. You know, the kind of place you have to visit because of how good their food is. Yes they do give you large portions. And yes it is hot and fresh and well prepared. So you will get filled up on good food. But nothing that makes you say "wow". And that's okay. And the coffee was weak, like it was kind of watered down. And I drink it black. But it was hot Our waitress was excellent. She was working breakfast by herself, the counter and the booths. And she was hustling. And she still was friendly, smiling, talkative and caring This is a typical retro diner. The ceiling has ceiling tiles to try to make it look like an old copper ceiling. But the tiles in several areas are twisted, cracked and lifted. The ceramic tiles are peeling and there is rust on the bar stools. To me this gives the impression of being unclean and uncared for. Not what you want in a restaurant But the worst was the bathroom. The toilet would not flush. The urinal was all brown and yellow. The sink was filthy. Many tiles were missing off the walls and the walls were filthy. The floor was a mess and the trash can in there was overflowing. To top it off it was infested with flies. In all honesty if I had used the bathroom before I ordered, I would have left. The bathroom really made me wonder how the clean was the rest of the restaurant. If the board of health paid a visit here they would close it down because of the bathroom read more

To sum it up, good tasting food, huge portions, reasonably prices, fantastic service. A word of warning before trying Patriot's Diner, if you are on a diet this might not be the best place for you. They do have some healthy options but a place that serves breakfast all day and diner food, why go healthy...Go Big or Go Home! I have been to Patriots a few times since its opened and I have yet to be disappointed. The wait staff is always so friendly and attentive to all of the customers and the food comes out fast. I came here for breakfast yesterday and ordered an omelet and in less than 5 minutes the food was out. the omelet was huge and stuffed with everything I had ordered. It also comes with a heaping portion of home fries as well. The food was great and I threw in the towel with about a 1/4 of the omelet left. Overall, if you are starving and want to walk out full and for a good price try the Patriots Diner. Best of all its open 24 hours so if you are hungry and reading this review at 2am and get the craving for breakfast, you can satisfy that craving. read more
