Absolutely love their Margherita Pizza with extra sauce. It's authentic and when I asked the owner about it over the phone the first time, he was awesome. He assured me that the pizza would be authentic and not fake like those covered in tomato slices and I appreciated it. Let's just say, he was right! The front desk lady is super nice and always talks to me and my fiancé every time we come in. Really sweet over the phone too. The food is always so fresh and amazing omgggg. The salads are made with actual Romain lettuce and not iceberg. The Greek salad that I had was so full of fresh veggies and feta. I am in a hotel with my family while my house is begging worried on and I place an order. Fried Mac and cheese, jalapeno poppers, 2 ten piece wings, and she fries... Just had my lunch delivered by the Chef. The young woman taking the order was engaging, friendly and made some great recommendations. I ordered an Italian grinder with fries. Perfectly made, bread fresh and fries hot and crispy. I ordered a small Sausage and Cheese pizza took me back to the NYC SLICES, crispy, thin crust and salty cheese. I legit live 10 minutes down the road they said the food would be here in a half hour we called 45 minutes later and they are on the way but it's been over 15 minutes and still nothing. I gather this place used to be called Grand Slam pizza. We happened to notice it a while back when they had a grand opening sign under the All Star name. We ordered there and were very happy with it. The food is really good and the prices are even better. It took me a while to get the wife to admit the food is better than the place she liked. It was one of those silly arguments you have when you've been married for 15 years. She wasn't going to concede that the food was better for anything. Finally a couple of weeks ago it was mozzarella sticks of all things that put her over the edge. They are bigger, she got more and paid a couple bucks less than the other place. Just the fact that she changed her mind is enough to tell me she's happy with it. This is a woman who won't eat chicken pie unless it's made from the cookbook she uses, won't even try it. It's the same with cookies, Betty Crocker chocolate chip recipe or none at all. Anyway, to get to the point of all this. We really like the place. They have all the standard pizza place items and they also have fish and chips and wieners. The BBQ wings are stupid good and the boneless buffalo tenders are the best around. We usually order apps and sandwiches as well as the occasional pizza. It's all good. Be ready for the toppings buried under the cheese. I imagine they would do it the other way if you asked, they are always accommodating. The prices are excellent. An example is the potato skins. Where else can you get 4 big skins for $2.75? I've never been inside the place, we've always had it delivered. Unlike our "old" place the food from here is always hot. I mean really hot, not warm or ok, hot. There was plenty of topping and no one taste that superseded the other. The only complaint was the crust, while it was cooked well and yet still soft, it had no flavor. The wieners we ordered came with everything, in true RI fashion. Unfortunately, the taste fell short of our expectations and they were rather dry.
