It looked like regular toast, so I thought they maybe misunderstood that I wanted grilled English muffin for my bread. But turns out, their French toast does not have as much batter as l am used to. I do like that it is sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon, but it is a but dry - the syrup makes it better. I requested my eggs scrambled and with cheese and the cheese was perfectly melted. The bacon was crispy, with the right thickness. I had read that their sausages are good, and indeed they are - juicy, a tad spicy, and flavorful. The English muffin was crispy and buttery. The potatoes were soft and tasty. The back of the paper placemats have puzzles and activities, which we only realized before leaving. The inside made us feel like we were at someone's home, so it made us feel more comfortable.

Extremely rude and vulgar, I went here with friends for breakfast it took 45 min for my eggs. There was only 3 other people in the restaurant, so there was no reason for such a long wait. By the time my food came I didn't even want it, I didn't eat any of it wanted to just pay for our coffees and leave but the waiters response was, "sorry we don't have refunds, and it's all prepared" Yeah prepared 45 min late we will not be going back and recommend anyone going here to steer clear. "Wow, Main Street Cafe was a total letdown. My daughter and I thought we'd grab a bite there for lunch, but it turned into a nightmare. We waited forever for someone to take our order, and when they finally did, it was this super rude lady. And the food? Not worth the wait at all - it was awful. Then, to top it off, when my daughter asked about job openings, the server was downright disrespectful. I had to keep my cool, pay the bill, and leave. It's a very pleasant, hometown feel while you're dining here and one I don't mind traveling a fair distance for (in Rhode Island terms).
