Good breakfast, quick friendly service! Tried getting into another breakfast place in chepatchet and was left. Waiting for 20 minutes with no service, so we were very happy to come here and turn the day around!

Gentleman Farmer is a place I've been coming from what I was in high school At Ponaganset back in the 90s. This isn't a 5-star establishment, maybe 4, but because of the nostalgia. As a senior at Ponaganset, my brother, best friend and I would come here after school every day. Today I live in Providence and not Glocester so I don't get here as much. Usually on a Saturday or Sunday morning for breakfast and they're still doing it right. Don't come expecting anything fancy at all, it's a diner. The home fries (which I use as a benchmark for any diner) are fantastic! They have great breakfast meals, and they have interesting specials from time to time. The staff has always been friendly, the prices are cheap and you will leave full.

Good food, friendly service, and the small town feel you'd expect from the name! If you're visiting Chepachet (great for antiquing) you'll definitely want to fuel up at this little diner on your way into the village, where there is not much else in the way of sit-down family dining. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our kiddo, service was on the slower side, but the food was worth the wait and we were not in a rush so we were satisfied. The yankee pot roast is something worth craving, and I'd order it again at every opportunity. Can't wait to return!

A great diner / family restaurant in northern Rhode Island. Definitely worth doing by on your way from Boston to NYC or if you happen to be in the area. The clan strips were battered and fried perfectly, light and crispy. Pot roast was fall apart tender. The fried chicken we do crunchy on the outside and most and juicy on the inside. You can tell everything was prepared fresh and the service was very friendly.

You have to love this place. It has an old-time feel to it, but what exactly it is, is hard to explain. Its a bar. its a diner, its a Keno parlor, its a pizza and grinder shop, its all of the above. Its deceptively large inside with 20 or so booths. The big diner-like menu has it all - sandwiches, breakfast foods, pizza, grinders, and daily specials. I ordered an Italian grinder and a soft drink and it was less than $8 for a very nice sized sandwich that didn't skimp on the meat.. There's not many food choices on this lonely stretch of road, but now I know that the Gentleman Farmer is a very dependable stop to refuel.

Great spot while we we're Antiquing in Rhode Island. Haddock was a little over done but the flavors were great and the inside was still soft and juicy melt in your mouth. The coleslaw was one of the best I have had and the mashed potatoes were just perfect for the comfort food craving I was looking for!! The waiter was delightful. Perfect Little New England town diner! Will stop again when back in the area. They also had options on the menu for kids. Social distancing guidelines in place for covid-19.

He genuinely cares about his restaurant and the people he serves. A lot of owners would get defensive over something as minor as "the home fries weren't well done enough," but not Ari. We've been to Hamilton Diner many times and the food is consistently delicious. On this visit, our home fries weren't quite as crispy as we'd asked for. It was a small thing that honestly wouldn't have affected our rating at all -- we know how busy things can get. What impressed me most was Ari personally coming to our table to apologize and bringing out a fresh replacement. He didn't have to do that, but he did - and that's exactly why we'll keep coming back. Thank you, Ari, for your compassion, your humbleness, and the pride you take in your restaurant. You and your team are doing it right. Also sorry for the lack of photos, we dug right into our dishes. The Biscuits and Gravy dish is delicious!

It's colorful, it's groovy, it's bright, it's nostalgic. Even the employees are wearing shirts with funky themes and patterns. There are TVs showing shows from back then. The floors are checkered, the ceiling is silver, the chairs are red and the tables are blue. We were seated at a booth, which can more than comfortably sit 4-6 people. The menu is HUGE, think cheesecake factory but for a diner. There's a little bit of everything but the font and everything around it makes it hard to focus on what each item is. I went very simple and chose the Simon and Garfunkel which included two pancakes or French toast, two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, toast, and home fries for $18.99. After about 15 minutes, our food came out. The bacon could have been crispier, with some parts being wobbly. The sausage was thick, juicy, and savory. The potatoes were a little bland and mushy on the outside. The eggs were cooked medium, just how I requested them, and the englush muffin was a little different than your traditional ones since it didn't have the little pockets of air but it was still good. The French toast was moist, but I wish it had more cinnamon - the egg was the dominant flavor. Overall, it was a very satisfying breakfast. There is plenty of parking as it's in a plaza

This time, not so much. Everything came out overcooked. The omelette and eggs were dry, and even the eggs ordered over easy had a strange, gelled texture instead of soft, runny yolks. The hollandaise sauce was broken with an odd orange color and smoky flavor, and the potatoes were mushy and unappetizing. Overall, the food quality was a big disappointment. The only reason this is getting two stars is because the service was genuinely great. Otherwise, I'd suggest finding another spot for breakfast, or hopefully ownership can bring in a cook who knows how to execute classic breakfast dishes properly.
