I have been going to Debbie's breakfast for about six months. This place is what I would consider an old school American diner. What I mean by that is it is independently owned and operated. Debbie, is the owner and cook (and does everything else). The seating area has a breakfast bar as well as tables. The decor is that of any traditional diner, smallish, common tables/flooring, and dated. But it is....traditional. it has a homey, warm feeling. The breakfast here is very good in my view with low prices (see menu). The staff are very friendly, something you often do not get at chain breakfast places. Parking can be hard in front of the restuarant but that is easily solved by parking across the street at the gas station. Overall, this is a great place....great people, great food, fast service, good prices. You will not get this at "denny's" type places. read more

Extremely disappointed. The place was very dirty. The salt and pepper shakers were covered in grease and probably hadn't been wiped down for weeks. Same goes for the handle of the coffee cup and even the silverware I was given. I was grateful that the table had napkins to wipe off all these things. Food was very low quality. It was very inexpensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. Server was nice to the customers she knew, but not friendly towards me. She also loaded dirty dishes into a dishwasher then (without washing) used her hands to scoop ice for my water. Well I came back a 2nd time and I'm looking at a dirty cooking area. Food left on the grill dirty. The microwave is so dirty you can't see thru the glass. I've been to Debbie's on several occasions for breakfast and the food is delicious. My only problem is that no matter how busy it is, there are only TWO people working... cook and waitress and they both do everything. I have even LITERALLY Had CUSTOMERS bring food to us, refill our coffee and take our plates away... CUSTOMERS. They just need more help so they can run like a regular business. read more

This place is a no-frills breakfast joint. The moment you walked in, you are greeted by the nice family that owns it. They make you feel right at home and literally tell you to make yourself right at home. ;) The older woman who had been waiting on us was cute and very friendly - she also had quite the sense of humor. The owner's husband also offered up his coffee pot in case he happened to be serving someone else (we could help ourselves!). I enjoyed the overall attitude in the place. The food? It was ok. Nothing to write home about. The eggs seemed slightly undercooked and the home fries were ok. The good news is, the food is nice and cheap! $2.99 for eggs, toast and home fries? Sure! The wait time for the food was a little long too but you could see Debbie herself busting her butt to get all of the orders cooked. She is such a hustler! One thing I would recommend is the opportunity for one more cook to help her to make the wait time a little shorter. Interesting little place they have here, first off wish I could give it 3 and half stars just so you know now on to the review. The decor is a little outdated and could use a redo but overall it's clean but small inside. There are counter seats along with tables and plenty of newspapers to read. The Staff is kind,friendly and helpful and polite. If sitting at the counter they will even strike up a conversation with you. Food is OK to average I feel in taste that goes for the homefries themselves. They were just bland nothing to them or anything to explode with flavor in your mouth. The bacon was limp and soft not how i like mine. The good part is the servings are of good size to even huge. The price you can't go wrong and definitely get your moneys worth and then some. So like I said it has it's pros and cons. It's a good little place if your looking for good size servings for the cost but for taste this isn't the place. Will I be back? My family and I went this passes weekend. I heard the place was good so we thought we would give it a try. I personally find the place to be dirty! Napkin holders we crusted with lots of nasty stuff. Menus haven't been wiped. Food came out and it was just disgusting, no taste, over cooked my egg. Took a bite of the French toast and it had a fishy smell to it. This place was there for me when I needed it most. I was hanging pretty hard on a Saturday morning and I really needed a good, greasy, home made ham, egg & cheese bagel sandwich, grilled. I just had breakfast here and it was delicious. Our food was out in about 5 minutes. I ordered the Hungry Man and even though it didn't look like anything special, it tasted amazing. The whole bill was just about $16 for two drinks and two hungry man meals. It was a great value and the cook was a sweet heart. Super friendly. This woman works this place almost by herself during the week. Her husband helps her at busy times. The food is great. She pretty much can make you anything from scratch. The place is very clean and serves good sized portions for cheap money. The competitor about a mile away gets blown away in taste, service, and price. I love Debbie and her food. My parents eat here almost every morning. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Great little hidden gem in Woonsocket. Excellent food and quaint service. Would highly recommend.

The plate of dough I received was supposed to be pancakes, dark brown on one side white on the other. The walls and most every other part of the restaurant was covered in grease. The ketchup squeeze bottle was crusted with dried ketchup that had lint in it, so it's been there a while. Best part of all is after telling them my food was terrible I was still charged for it. Very disappointed had heard very good things about this place. Sitting here chewing tums as I wright, don't waste your money. read more
