Ordered the Build Your Own pasta. Pappardelle with Alfredo. I do want to say the pasta was good but the sauce maybe just wasn't meant for that noodle. I felt it added nothing to the noodle itself. Most of the flavor was inside the actual noodle. All I could taste was wheat and a little hint of butter. My partner ordered the 6" short rib sandwich. He said it was a hearty bite and liked it. No complaints there. Ordered a cannoli and got these nice lil fellas. I did call to place the order. The host who answered was nice. Seemed like they were training another person when we actually went to pick up the food. There was a 3% surcharge for using card. I was going to do part cash then the rest card but it was explained that the $1 fee I was being charged was the fee nonetheless so I just did all card. Don't think that it should've been that way but maybe it was just miscommunication and I would've only had the 3% on the part I only paid with card and not the whole total. ¯\_(ツ)_/ not quite sure. Overall a nice first experience with decent pasta and friendly service! I was in the area and have been eyeing this place for awhile since they first opened and finally decided to get something for lunch. I went with a BYOP and got fettuccine alfredo with sausage. Overall, not bad. You can tell the noodles are of the fresh variety rather than the boxed kind because of the texture. The Alfredo sauce was what you would expect creamy and buttery. I will say that there was a lottt of butter because there was a pool of it at the end, but I mean it's alfredo do what can I expect. The sausage was definitely pretty satisfying because it has that distinctive Italian sausage flavor that you think of. It's not really visually pleasing and could have used some parsley or cheese as a garnish to make it pop. I'm just glad it was well seasoned and tasted good at least! The portion size was decent but pretty expensive at $18 without it including a premium protein or any special add ons. You can definitely tell it's family owned just by the service itself. The guy was friendly to me and all the other customers he interacted with which was nice to see of course. I did notice a small detail that made me not want to eat the side of bread. After taking orders, answering the phone, and doing other things, he grabbed the piece of bread bare handed without washing his hands before doing so. It's definitely important to have clean hands or at least wear gloves when handling food that is going to be eaten without it being cooked. Other than that small issue, I would recommend checking out this small business. I'd come back if I was in the area and craving pasta again but it's a little out of my way to come more often. read more

Not a lot of Italian restaurants in the OC makes Cacio E Pepe, and even then some of them would use heavy cream, garlic, and chicken. Not this place. If you're looking for a dish closed to Rome then this is the place to go. I was a little nervous to eat it at first, because I actually make Cacio E Pepe myself and this one looks a little different. However, after taking the first bite I immediately knew that it was the real deal. My only critique is that the Cacio e Pepe sauce is a little loose, so I recommend adding a bit more cheese to get that creamy sauce. Also, they add a little bit of olive oil on the dish which isn't ideal, but regardless it worked out fine. Overall it taste almost the same as the traditional Roman dish, and I'd definitely go again if I ever crave some more Cacio e Pepe. read more

Omg, worst italian restaurant i have ever been to, i read reviews and saw photos and thought i would give it a try, terrible decision, first there is no ambiance, second i rdered a glass of wine and the cashier shows me two already opened half used and probably weeks old bottles of used wine, next order chicken salad that literally had no chicken so they later bring aa bowl of i e cold chicken chipped up in. Howl like you feed your dog with, see photos, the salad was gross and filled with stale croutons, next the lasagna was worse than a stouffers frozen lasagna amd the sauce was orange and tasted Aweful, exact same product they call tomato soup, no table service and you have to decide your tip at the time you order, not AFTER you get the lack service so bo way to reduce or eliminate it, im sorry but i dint know about these other reviews there is no way they are legit. Well i was out tonight craving a slice or two of pizza for dinner and every pizza shop i went to couldn't sell me a slice of pizza. They all kept telling me if i come in at lunch then i could buy a single slice. But it was dinner time and so i decided to go try one more place and so i drove over to Pasta Party and they where just closing and I believe he was a manager or the owner and he said they to normally sell by the slice only at lunch but then he asked me if id ever eaten there before and i responded "NO"! He then said well in that case he would like to share his pizza with me that he was bringing home after work. So this very thoughtful gentleman put 2 large slices of pizza with everything on it in a box and handed it to me with no charge and said,"go try this pizza and if you like it then come back and tell me how it was. Well this piping hot pizza with lots of pineapple and peppers and what not was actually some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. Thank you again so much for being a friendly and thoughtful human being towards one of your customers. They have a great menu and very fair prices so if you are a diehard pizza lover you must try the pizza here cause its very good. Their marinara is on the sweeter side, I prefer more tangy but still super delicious. The staff was super friendly and went over the menu when we said it was our first time in. We saw a couple of pizzas come out and will need to come back to try those! I love pizza. And normally would never complain. I paid $98 for 2 pizzas delivered by Uber eats and this is bad. I am at a lost for words. The pizza came extra undercooked and no cheese or peppers? The chicken was cold. My elderly uncle said frozen pizza tasted better. The pizza flopped in the middle and fell a part. The sad thing is that even after putting in the claim on Uber eats, there was no refund available. This is high way robbery paying $100 for 2 pizzas undercooked and unsafe to eat. Now I consider myself quite the pasta aficionado but this place was wayyyy beyond my expectations. Got the create your own - parpadelle with sausage and spicy tomato sauce- this thing was DELICIOUS!! I could not stop shoveling it into my face, the sauce was spicy, the sausage was tender, juicy and the noodles were Al dente. Whilst Pasta Party does not do carbonara they were so lovely and made me a bacon and mushroom Alfredo fettuccine which absolutely hit the spot! The serving was generous and I took half home since it's very filling. The menu is easy to understand and the staff seem more than happy to help you pick. I took a long time to decide honestly because a lot of things sounded delicious. I'm no pasta expert but this pasta tasted really nice, the texture was perfect. Fresh mozz. I have to open up this review with that sentence because there are no pizza places within the area that really strive to place quality ingredients on their pies. You get that from the get go with pasta party. If you notice from the image that I've attached, there are pools of fresh mozzarella dancing on top of this pizza. This is what drove me to come and try this place despite being a little bit out of my way, and I was not disappointed for doing so. I have to open up by giving a big shout out to the owner who was incredibly polite, welcoming, and interested in knowing his customers as well as sharing his story. The place is impeccably clean and all of the food can be done right in front of you which is a nice touch being able to watch as the dough is stretched and prepared before entering the oven. The place is known for the pasta, but the pizza that I tried was impeccably done. The crust is not too soft to the point where you feel it's undercooked, neither is it overcooked providing a char that you don't want to taste, it's just perfect and fluffy in the mouth and definitely seasoned well. The sauce is rich and not as acidic as one may expect rather it completely balances out the ingredients that form the rest of the pizza. Far and above everything else again is that mozzarella, there is a very particular satisfaction when getting that cheese pull from the bites that include it. It's rich in decadent and definitely a pie you want to share with other people. I had an opportunity to chat with the owner while waiting for my pizza. He's passionate about Italian food specifically Southern Italian, and you can tell because his love for the pasta is unparalleled. While he acknowledges the support for the pizza as well as the meatball sandwich which he says is a bestseller You can definitely tell that his heart and soul is definitely in the pasta. Apparently they make the gnocchi by hand daily, and he says that the pink sauce is by far one of the most popular of the sauces to pair with any of the pastas. I'll be moving in the next few weeks, out of town and far away from this place, but I won't forget the taste and the experience I had at this location You really ought to do yourself a favor and give it a shot because you're not going to regret it. I ordered the meat lasagna, the cheese raviolis, a Margherita pizza, and Cesar salad. The lasagna was to die for! The raviolis were huge! The pizza delicious! And the Cesar dressing was so creamy! The only disappointment was the potion size..for the price I was expecting more..and wanted more..full of flavor and the beef braised was tender inside the ravioli...the best part was the French bread I soaked up the delicious sauce with...I was going to take a picture but what is on Yelp is exactly as it is...the spaghetti and meatballs.. meatballs and sausage are extra..and even tho we enjoyed the dish..the meatballs for the price of each were small ..we were expecting larger ones like in other Italian places we have been to..but overall the food is good and sauces are not bland. Pink sauce was the best... staff was friendly ..and glad it was not a busy time. We heard about this place for while and finally decided to go there and it was so good!! It's a pizzeria type restaurant inside where you order at the counter and they bring it to you. It's small inside and I can see it getting packed in there but we went around 4:30 pm on a Saturday and there were tables available but they filled up pretty quickly after us. I had the gnocchi and my husband had the fettucine. It was excellent! We had side salads and they brought toasty bread with it. We will definitely go back. Worth the hype! read more
