Had the chicken vodka and it wasn't remarkable. Wouldn't go back, perhaps I should've gotten the pizza?

We stopped here for lunch one snowy afternoon so this prego lady could get her pizza fix. I love me some pizza! I tried a meat special and a slice of the Chicago style pepperoni. My husband got an Italian cheesesteak. He said his sandwich was good but wasn't blown away by it. I would next time skip the Chicago style and just get the normal crust they offer. The pizza was good, once again not blown away but good. They have a lot to choose from which was nice when you order by the slice. Best place around for slices- everything is awesome just get whatever looks the freshest. Tortellini Rosa with the cream sauce is amazing as well. The only bad thing is sometimes they don't heat slices all the way through so maybe ask them to overdo it a bit. read more

Love this place for one reason - Chicken Bruschetta pizza. One of my favorite pizza places to grab a single slice or two.

Reliable, delicious, and great staff. Definitely more of a Jersey/New York east coast pizza. Great carry out specials.

Omg what the horrible madness is this?! I ordered lasagna that taste just like tomato paste straight out the can and no seasoning. The meat... Well so called meat looks like potted meat out the can. Probably was though. I looked through the lid and cracked open the top and right away it yelled can of ravioli. Sad part is... I would rather have the store brought can. I mean like I make better lasagna than that but didn't want to hit the kitchen. Then the cheesesteak... Can you say bland! I asked for American cheese and paid for it but all you see is plain white cheese. Meat dying for seasoning. Looking for mayo. Oh, found it! Looks like someone took a fake plastic knife out a pack and dipped the tip of it in the mayo and smeared it on the bread. Still looking for the lettuce. After all that, guess where I am... In the kitchen when I'm not feeling well and wasted money om my whole order. Hate trying new spots but the pics looked so good. That lasagna was nothing but sauce and noodle with a spread of potted meat. I feel robbed and still hungry. Holy Wow! I bought my first sub from here today. I just started working in the area. I ordered the chicken parm sub not really expecting much. It's the best I've ever had as far as chicken parm goes. The roll was toasted golden brown and crispy. The chicken was tender and not tough to bite in to. The only bad part is, I may be eating a lot of subs now for lunch. read more

Pepperoni pizza is solid, kind of greasy and thin crust, but tasty nonetheless. Reasonably priced and have great lunch specials.

Review based on chicken shrimp alfredo. The sauce was probably from the bottle and not a good one, chicken reminds me of shortcuts made w rib meat and the shrimp were small salad type shrimp. I'm a Jersey girl (North Jersey that is, yes its a big difference) and nothing says home like a slice of NY style thin slice, plain pizza grease and all making the cheese look extra shiny with a side of RC coke. Here at Pasta Mista is the closest thing I am going to get to it. I can't comment on the rest of the menu being that's the pizza is the only reason why I come here. I ordered from Pasta Mista about 4 years ago and was not impressed with the rubbery, gummy gnocchi. Well, my mindset hasn't really changed. I had the manicotti today. If this was homemade- a little more effort would have made it a great dish. If this was frozen- shame on you for using frozen pre-made pasta. The ricotta had a gritty, sand-like texture. My friend got their cheese steak sub, which had a puddle of grease underneath before finishing one half. The only redeeming part of the order was their caprese foccacia sandwich, which had a great flavor. I probably will not order from here again---I shouldn't have to order multiple dishes to find one that is better than subpar. read more

Menu items are fairly priced and generously sized, especially the salads. Pizza by the slice is probably their best draw with over a dozen ready-made choices, although you'd be better off waiting for a fresh whole pizza. Specialty dinners are also available. As an eat-in place it's annoyingly drafty in cold weather. Owner and staff are usually pleasant and helpful. read more

Finally found some great pizza! We moved from NY 2 years ago, and have been searching for some good pizza for awhile. We got the margarita pizza, and it was delicious. I do think it was on the pricier side, but worth every penny. We will definitely be back to try the other kinds of pizza, salad, and pasta dishes. Pasta Mista in Canton offers a variety of foods: pastas of course, pizza, subs/sandwiches, salads, calzones, desserts, etc. They offer quality cooked food at inexpensive prices, which can be hard to find. I've been several times enough to know the place and recommend trying it out. Their pastas are really good, the sliced grill chicken pieces they use really compliment their pasta not to mention the sauces this place uses seem to be their own at least for some of the pastas. As for their pizzas, they have many pizza variants, their pizzas are thin slice, and are quite tasty. Their subs are also quite good. Overall, this is just a solid Italian restaurant. read more

Seriously? Don't be fooled by the other reviews. This pizza is mediocre at best. The crust is so dry and hard, you might want to have your dentist on standby. I ordered a white veggie pizza. Not sure where the garlic was, but certain there was none on my pizza. There were literally 2 pieces of spinach on the entire pizza. Definitely won't be back...total waste of carbs. read more

The pizza is good. really good. However, please check your to-go order before leaving. I was given the wrong food and didn't realize it until I got home, which is 30 minutes away -one way. This place is one of my go-tos for quick italian. Everything is really fresh and delicious. I've had different pizzas, subs, and pastas. Recently, I had the chicken parm sandwich on focaccia bread and itw as so good! I love the marinara sauce. Their garlic bread was really good too. I must be a contrarian. Very disappointed in the large special pizza we ordered for take out. It was supposed to have sausage and pepperoni. If there was sausage there it must have been ground mighty fine because it was invisible. It was supposed to have double cheese. The extremely thin, sporadic layer of cheese in this pie could never be considered a double layer. As for flavor, pretty average. read more

We have used Pasta Mista many times for catering orders for meetings in our office. Many of us also have lunch there, or eat there on the weekend. I have NEVER had anything bad from them! Their service is like no where else I have seen, especially with catering orders. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing! I am not a fan of their pizza. The crust is like cardboard. The pasta is to die for. Almost any of them are delicious. The service is alright. There have been many times that my order was incorrect. I live in glen burnie, and I will travel the 45mins for this pizza. I consider myself a pizza expert and they def have one of the best pizzas I have had. The 3 cheese white is AWESOME, actually cravable. The staff is very nice and always pleasant. I ordered 3 pizzas from here and went to pick them up for a birthday party, when I got there I tried to pay with my discover card but they dont accept discover. I go there alll the time, Nonetheless they let me take the pizzas home and pay them the next day. Which is so greatly appreciated bc they saved me from the embarassment of showing up with nothing for the party. read more

I've started eating here. Service is good; their regular cheese pizza is NY style thin crust. The crust is well baked & crispy; the top tastes home made. All in all a great pizzeria making quality pizzas. I usually grab a slice for $2 or their 16" for $10. Definitely worth it, and ages better than any chain pizza place. pizza was okay tonight. ordered a greek salad which was a bowl of lettuce! i asked for pepperoncinis and they didn't have them. i think they put one cherry tomato in the bottom! i love a really good salad so despite the pizza, i am less likely to come back when you serve horrible salads. read more

Me and my office mates carryout from here like once a week. I always get a slice of Pepperoni and Sausage. My pal gets the Chicken Brucetta pizza. We have no complaints. Some of the ladies get salads and they really love the Buchelli (sp?) salad. They go to town on those. I'd give them a 5 but most times when I get my pizza its no longer hot. We're not more than 3-4 mins away from them so I think they just box up pre-made slices without a warm up. Doesn't alter the taste, I'm OK with it but if you like your slices hot, ask them to warm it up first. read more

Updated review after going in tonight. Ordered four slices, paid cash and put a nice tip in their tip jar. The young lady that took my order was friendly and helpful so all was good. Then I noticed an older stock male employee that seems to be running the show, so I don't know if he is a manager or worse an owner (worse because then nothing will ever change). He was rather short and pushy interacting with several customers that ordered prior to mine. Once my order was ready I interacted with the employee boxing it and mentioned I ordered four slices not three. He cut into the conversation saying that was all that was on the ticket, so now it seems it was apparently my fault in his demeanor. Instead of trying to fix the situation he is stone faced and looking like he would rather argue. So, unless there is some follow up with this, I highly recommend other locations for pizza. While the pizza here is decent, customer service sucked, and it annoys me that I had given them a decent tip. read more
