Pick a table, and drinks were easy, I love ice water, their soft beverage machine was out except for Coke, for anything else they have a well stocked refrigerator in the dining room and get your choice. 2 sizes of bottles. For the food: My husband chose Spaghetti with Meatsauce. He was not that impressed. It could have been fresh out of a jar. It would have been nice to be offered Parmesan as a topper. Maybe you have to ask. I ordered the Penne Seafood, and it had a creamy rose sauce. Seafood was 3 good-sized shrimp, 3 med scallops, and decorated on top with crabmeat. A nice presentation! However, the scallops had an "off" taste, and I chose not to eat them and did not complain to the staff either. Both dishes were steaming hot, that was great. This meal came with toasted Italian bread coated with olive oil and sparse fresh minced garlic. Service was good, just enough, and she could not have been nicer. When he finally returned, instead of taking accountability or apologizing, he explained that the lasagna is "pre-packaged" and suggested that the plastic covering must have melted into the food because his "guys" wear hairnets. The problem is, it wasn't plastic in my food--it was hair. Regardless of whether the lasagna is pre-packaged or the employees wear hairnets, I was served food containing hair. I expected a manager to acknowledge the situation, apologize, and take the complaint seriously. After finishing his conversation with the other table, Robert eventually asked, "Can I get you a drink on me?" I declined and said no thank you. His response was simply, "Okay, sis," before walking away. The entire interaction felt abrupt, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. I had actually heard from other friends who have visited Rosario's that Robert was not particularly friendly or customer-focused, but I had never experienced it myself. Unfortunately, I got to see it firsthand today. Jaime, our waiter, was the bright spot of the experience. He was awesome and provided great customer service. Honestly, Robert could take a page out of Jaime's customer-service book.
