It is also almost broom swept clean. To the food, on the counter is the list of specials. My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub, no hots. It was huge and perfect, sub roll vas very fresh. My family and I are new to the area and we wanted pizza. I looked up the some pizza places in my area on yelp. This place had some good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the extra large pizza half pepperoni and cheese. A grilled chicken salad and 10 Buffalo wings. The salad was my favorite thing. The vegetables were really fresh and the dressing was good. Ordered delivery from here 11.14.2020 - a cheesesteak in a bowl and a cheesesteak wrap. It was nothing to write home about, honestly. It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't great either. The steak itself was a bit dry and overdone. The condiments I asked for took over the bowl (as in they gave me too much of the condiments). The cheese was not fully melted. Shocked that this is a four-star place. Tried a big delivery order since it was our first time - a little bit of everything. Largely disappointing. Pizza: cheese was great-tasting and generous. Well-cooked. Sauce was... weird; I have no other way to explain, kind of bitter/sour. Dough was thick but not bad. Lasagna: good sauce, different than the pizza. Sausage-y rather than beef-y, nice cheese, nice pasta (although I couldn't say for certain it's "fresh"). Subs: steak is good, generous, on a nice roll. We got a shrimp cheesesteak which was not worth it; the shrimp were scarce and tiny, like the ones you get in shrimp-flavored ramen. Apps/Sides: don't bother. Cream of crab soup was thick and gloppy like a diner gravy, which is ironic because the actual gravy on the gravy fries was thin and anemic. Fried items are clearly done in the same fryer as something sweet and cinnamon-y (cannoli shells?) which is not a great flavor with e.g. macaroni wedges and chicken tenders. Side of Mac and cheese was very runny. Just a lot of frozen/prepackaged disappointment. All in all I might grab a sub there or try another of their pasta entrees if I were by myself, but Fratello's doesn't really work for us as a family together. read more

I'm not sure how I lived in this area for over five years without ever having a chicken wrap from Fratello's! Fratello's is located off of Belair Road across from the Weis Shopping Center. It's a small little restaurant with plenty of parking, seating, and a nice open kitchen area. I found myself saying "it's so cozy in here" multiple times while I was ordering and eating. Everything was clean and the staff was so friendly. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with tomatoes, lettuce, provolone, and mayo. It was part of a lunch special that included French fries and a fountain drink. The total came to around $25, my husband ordered the chicken parm sandwich lunch special, which also included fries and a fountain drink. The food took about fifteen minutes to be prepared, and was nicely presented and hot (in temperature, not spice). I really appreciate a place that does simple right, and Fratello's has that down pat! I ended up leaving half of my chicken wrap for lunch tomorrow, and it's one of those situations where if my husband even thinks of touching it, we might have an issue! Staff disrespectful and company doesn't have any sense of customer service. Meal was wrong and remade. The remake was still incorrect and would not offer a refund since they stated "we remade your meal." When we took both meal back to the restaurant the staff brushed us off and said "there is nothing we can do." When asked for a refund a cook in the back shouted "what for". There's a woman on the phone every time I call for a delivery and she doesn't sound so friendly. At the end of my orders she hangs up without saying thank you or anything of the sort. She asks me if there's anything else I want and I say no. She tells me the price and that it will take around 30-40 minutes then hangs up..... Fratello's has 4 locations in the Baltimore area. It must be THAT good then right? I got a steak quesadilla, mashed potatoes with gravy, all beef hot dog and a 16 inch (2 8 inch subs) cheesesteak sub and a 16 inch mighty rib sub for delivery. Steak quesadilla was terrible. Never knew how much liquid was in the box containing the quesadilla. Steak was overcooked and dry, and the tortilla holding the food was soaked and wet to the point where I had to use a fork and knife... A mess. Mashed potatoes was bad. Chunks of potatoes which I don't mind, however, the flavor was awful. It tasted funny and had a bad aftertaste as if it was bitter. All beef hot dog was like eating a salt dog and the bread couldn't even balance out the saltiness of the dog. The mighty rib sub was alright. Felt like the meat patty was a bit small when it comes to ratio of the meat and sub. The flavor was pretty good, would recommend not to get any toppings except onions. The bread was great. The cheesesteak sub was fantastic. In my opinion, the texture of the bread really complimented the toppings inside. Sometimes subs you get from other places there would be a bunch of leaks and the bread would rip from the middle, but this place doesn't do that. It's the bread that stands out. I've ordered their subs numerous times and it never disappoints me. However, that's the ONLY thing I get from them. You can definitely get other things from other places that are better. I just picked up a pizza and fifteen wings. To my surprise, I received only two legs and thirteen wings. I called to express my concern and I spoke with Jackie who informed me that the wings are chosen at random. Giving 1 star since the food is great. However, I planned my mother's 60th birthday party here. I called a week and a half before to give them the total headcount.. I was told at that time that nothing had been penciled in. (Mind you...at this point I had already gotten RSVPs picked a menu with one of the waitresses, and promised a private room). ( I s*** you not, when we left 2 hours later there was 1 couple in the front room and another squeezed into a corner in our room. My husband, son and I had been there for about 40 minutes when I had to finally flagged somebody down to get a glass of water! Are you f***ing kidding? Unbeknownst to me the tip was not included in the prior payment which we paid the day I squared everything up. I left before my mother and give a tip.. Very good steak subs! I recommend getting the fried onions, sweet peppers, american cheese,and tomato topping. The pizza is pretty good, but the staff definitely outweighs the food and even the affordable pricing. It's very delightful to order from here. I have ordered from fratellos a few times and I've always loved the food, today I ordered a 2 sub combo that is a special on the website (comes with 2 8 inch subs 2 fries and 2 drinks) and I should have noticed during ordering they didn't repeat back the drinks but that wasn't the part I cared for so I didn't notice. I did notice the fries missing when I got the delivery so I called back and ended up speaking to the manager (not my request) she was very kind and I went to pick up the fries and pay for them and she did not charge me for those and even offered me the 2 drinks that would have come with the combo(again I didn't care about those so I didn't get them). The cheese on the white pizza was good, but otherwise it wasn't great. They basically substituted ricotta cheese for tomato sauce and called it a white pizza. Not enough garlic flavor either.
