We stopped for a late breakfast , it had a nice open, almost airy country feel, kind of old time. The menu offers basic food, nothing too fancy, and always a pot of coffee on, and customers serve themselves and coffee condiments nearby. Ordering is done at the counter, and they bring it out to you. Also there is a deli with meats and cheeses, also several kinds of homemade salads.. My husband had the breakfast platter, which had fried potatoes with onions, scrambled eggs, 3 bacon strips, and toast. I had the grits with butter and bacon. All was good, including the service. Just enough, plenty of free parking. I'm not sure if they have a handicapped entrance.

I ordered a mango smoothie and an egg and cheese croissant sandwich with tomato. My order was a Rapid Pick-Up order, and when I arrived, the screen showed that my order was ready. However, it was not on the Rapid Pick-Up shelf. I honestly don't understand why the system is showing orders as "ready" when they clearly aren't actually ready. I can only assume they may be doing this to make it appear in their system that they aren't behind on orders or something along those lines. I waited an additional seven minutes after my order showed as ready before I received my food. This could also create a serious problem for delivery drivers. If the system says an order is ready when it actually isn't, it can make it look like the driver is late picking up the food when the delay is actually on the restaurant's end. There was an elderly employee working in the bakery who was very sweet and tried to help me. She said she wasn't sure why my order was showing as ready and directed me to ask someone else. I then saw a mango smoothie sitting on the counter behind the employee making smoothies. I gave her my name and said, "I think that's mine." She confirmed that it was my smoothie but told me I couldn't have it yet because they had to wait for the bags. I explained that I had personally placed the order and was not picking up a DoorDash or other delivery order. I understand that there may be procedures for delivery orders, but I don't understand why a regular customer who placed their own order couldn't receive their already-prepared drink while waiting for their food. Why let a cold smoothie sit there and melt when I could be drinking it while waiting for my sandwich? A man walked by, and I'm assuming he was the manager because of the way he addressed me. He said, in a very authoritarian tone, "Do you want us to break the rules?" He then picked up my smoothie, put it in front of me rather forcefully, and said, "Here, we'll break the rules for you." I was honestly taken aback because I never asked anyone to break any rules. I was simply explaining that this was my personal order, not a delivery order, and that I didn't see the logic in letting my smoothie sit there and melt while I waited for my food. I understand employees have procedures they have to follow, but there was absolutely no reason for the interaction to be handled with that type of attitude. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. They did give me the correct croissant, but it was not toasted or warmed properly, and it was extremely dry. I specifically requested no salt and pepper, but there was salt and pepper on the sandwich. I also paid for a slice of tomato, and there was no tomato at all. The smoothie still had chunks of ice that weren't blended properly, and it didn't taste particularly good either. Overall, the customer service was horrible, my order was not actually ready when the system said it was, and my food was not prepared correctly. I understand following procedures, but customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I just won't be coming back to this location. If someone is not picking up a delivery order, I genuinely don't understand why you wouldn't give them their drink when they are still waiting for their food. And if the restaurant's system is going to tell customers and delivery drivers that orders are ready when they're not, that is something management really needs to look into. This was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.

Been to your restaurant with my husband 10-12 times over the past several months. Most recently, we came in yesterday. We are impressed with the selection and drive a long way (40 min each way) for carryout because you offer a lot of menu choices never offered on our side of town. My husband loves Indian food and I love your subs and pizza. So we get the best of both worlds when we dine with you. We have dined in twice, and carried out a few times. Even if we have to re-heat, the food is still good. Before writing this, I read some of what other customers had to say about your restaurant. I was surprised to see a number of negative comments. I don't agree with the food negativity (but to each his own), but must say I do agree with the customer service comments. We have met the owner, and he seems very, very nice. We have been waited on by Shannon a few times, and she makes the experience worthwhile. She even sang to my husband when it was his birthday. She's funny and we always have a good laugh with her! Very attentive! But the rest of these customers are right. I know there is a lady named Kayla we've complained about before. She was rude and condescending when we were placing our order and when we had questions about ingredients, and I know we stood there for probably 15 minutes before she even took our order. We called the next day and complained. As far as that lady Anna other reviews mention, they are right on the money. I REFUSE to bring my son to your restaurant because of that woman. She is so unprofessional it makes me sick, and definitely "leaves a bad taste in your mouth", so to speak. She is vulgar with the customers and the other employees. I have managed businesses for 20+ years and if I ever heard about one of my employees acting the way she does, she'd be out on her butt before the next order came out of the oven. Her behavior is atrocious. I have worked not only with office professionals, but with bartenders and construction workers, etc. and she puts them all to shame. My husband and I come back because of your food selection and the good time we have when the owner or Shannon are there. But we have not, and will not, recommend this restaurant to our friends and family or dare bring them in because we never know what the dining experience will be like. read more

The place overall is good. Cheese steaks are great. Shrimp salad is horrible. My main issues was with the wait staff. The one girl Shannon is awesome. Very attentive, and just on top of everything. Knows how to treat a customer. However I have had issues a few times with a lady named Anna. She has been horrible every time we have eaten in. She is very lazy. I asked her a question and she just walked away. She has made sexual advances to me and made inappropriate sexual jokes. My girlfriend didn't appreciate this what so ever. One time we heard her talking about how she is going to get so high with her daughter when she gets off. Come on Greens. Is the kind of employee you hire? She's costing you business because I will never return until she is gone. Just my two cents. read more

I don't usually post on reviews but had to comment today. My daughter, granddaughter and I visit Green Pizzeria when we are on that side of town. We have always found the food to be quite delicious, especially the subs, Caesar salad and square pizza, We don't get delivery because we live out of the delivery area, which gives us the opportunity to eat in and also carry out. Anyway, my reason for writing today is to also comment on one of the staff named Shannon. Shannon has a very outgoing personality and keeps my granddaughter smiling the entire time we are there. She is very professional, recommends food items and is a definite asset to the industry... We will be back for dinner again and look forward to Shannon being our server! read more

I order from here atleast once a week, I love the food and the prices! I have learned to only come when Shannon is there though, she is the best! She is always so friendly and helpful, gets things done in a timely manner, and takes good care of her customers. I went when another girl was there, I don't remember her name, I think it started with an a.. but she was very short and rude with me. I guess it didn't help that I have always received such great service from Shannon, but me and my entire family and all of my coworkers will only go if Shannon is working. Shannon is the best! First thing you notice about a restaurant is how clean it is and they do a great job at cleanliness at the Green Pizzeria. All the workers are friendly and the menu has a good amount of variety for anyone. I'm a lacto vegetarian (no meat, but diary OK), so I always get a cheese sub with lettuce and tomato. Their fries are unique with a crusty exterior and great taste. If I had to say one thing good about the Green Pizzeria, it's their fries. Don't see these style fries most places, so they're a real treat! My friends have ordered food with meat, meatballs, etc have commented all good. Check 'em out or better still eat in! read more

I am a middle school student and often come home to see the fridge empty. It wasn't until my friends showed me this place and from that day one, I kept coming! The food is awesome you can almost get anything for a fair price. The place is very clean with very nice people working there. We order pizza and wings almost every weekend. Food always delivered hot and promptly. We ask for "lite cheese" as they are heavy with the cheese. Pizza crust is perfect.
