Nice quaint spot on the Ave. I love a nice little wine and deli spot. They have tables high tops and bar seating you can order from the counter or you can get full service sitting at the tables. Meats and cheeses can be purchased by the pound. They have wines for purchase all around the walls. The menu from the deli has a variety of sandwiches, salads, charcuterie, boards, and flatbread pizzas. You can purchase wine by the glass, cocktails and mocktails. I really like this place. I'm glad that Yelp led me here. I've been on the Ave, but I obviously never paid this place any attention. Now I've found this hidden gym in plain sight. read more

This place is awesome. Such a cute spot and they sell all kinds of wines and great stuff. The atmosphere is cozy, with a bar, high tops, regular tables, and seasonal decor. It is family owned and it truly has that family feel when you come in and order. The food is nice and tastes fresh. The service is quick and employees are helpful and kind. There is something for everyone here but not too many options that it's overwhelming. They also have a wine club, events, and happy hour. A friend recommended this place and I wish I had gone sooner! On a Friday afternoon, service was speedy. We were seated right away. Our server was very nice. The place itself had a bunch of leaves from outside that blew in. Bathrooms were clean. Figgy Piggy 10/10: Toasted nicely. Every bite was like a dream charcuterie board. It truly was heaven. We tried this little gem of a deli on the WHITE MARSH AVENUE before going to the movies and the sandwiches were absolutely incredible. We had the muffaletta & the turkey sandwich ....simply fantastic. The drink menu including the beers are very reasonably priced. It has a very small dining area so it could get crowded. This is such a cute little wine and eatery spot. We ordered the grown up grilled cheese, I had a glass of Pinot Grigio and my brother had a glass of red blend. The grilled cheese had a little too much pesto on it but overall it was tasty. Next time I will tell them light pesto. The staff are all extremely nice and are great with suggesting wine options. Less than friendly counter person appeared as server and dropped this HUGE sandwich off at my table. The sandwich was ok, on the bland side, IMO, though the focaccia was amazing. Ando's has been on my list for awhile, and I finally got to visit! I went with a friend on a weekday around 4:30, and it was pretty empty when we first got there. The interior has lots of little tables around, with wine for purchase lining the perimeter and other little gift purchases in the middle. Their menu consists of their specials, soups, salads, and charcuterie boards! They also had $6 glasses of rose going while we were there, so we definitely took advantage of that! My friend and I shared a charcuterie board for 1 (and added burrata), the everything but the bread salad, a sprouted turkey sandwich, and each got a cup of spicy tomato soup. Andos is a deli, wine shop and serves food. When you walk in, it's very rustic and the service is friendly. The vibe is more of a neighborhood store. As a result, the service is relaxed. I ordered a flight of three wines (red, white, sweet) and the pours were very generous. All of the food was great: the charcuterie board, the side salad, the chicken pesto, key lime pie. Additionally, the wait time for everything was standard. The pricing was fair and the noise was average. I would definitely return for the chill vibes. (There is plenty of parking but spots fill up fast; you may have to walk a little.) read more

Stopped in on a cloudy day. Immediately smelled the aromas of meat and cheeses. Sat down at a cute round table and a lovely lady provided us menus. We split the turkey with brie, arugula and cranberry sandwich. Thankfully we asked the size because the server said it was big. So for under $20 we had a nice size sandwich, a bag of chips and ice water. The sandwich was decent. We hardly tasted the Brie, it was too mild. We preferred a stronger pungent Brie. Stopped in for a lunch on my way to run errands in the county. It was a gorgeous day and my friend talked up this place. The service was extremely slow (like wait 30 min slow) and we had an appointment to get to. So I ended up getting my sandwich and coffee to go. It was an extremely hot day so the sandwich didn't really work in the car, but I think it was pretty decent. Ando's Market is located within the larger white marsh shopping complex. I love love love coming to Ando's. There aren't alot of places like this in the area which makes it unique. All the meats are carved fresh and the cheeses are so good. My wife and I had lunch yesterday at Ando's in the Avenue at White Marsh. It was our first time dining there and it was wonderful. My wife had the Pastrami Mommy and I chose the Lorenzo. We split them and had a wonderful feast. I don't know which I enjoyed more. We sat near the counter where the orders came out and each entree looked delicious. We can't wait to come back and gradually work our way through their menu. I forget our server's name, but she was wonderful. They are right next to Red Brick Station and named after Red Brick's co-founder. To my friends in the area, check it out. You won't be disappointed. Atmosphere is everything! I enjoyed Ando's market from the drinks to the food to the service ( I believe that Jennifer served us), it was a lovely experience. The pricing was reasonable. We sat inside ( some seating outside)however it was bright inside and we were still able to see the foot traffic on the Avenue. It's a low key and relaxing atmosphere with a good musical selection playing in the background. Ando's has a selective menu however it has items for every taste. There is a wide range of wine and other alcoholic beverages to choose from. I love that you can choose a wine and drink it there or purchase to carry home. I enjoyed the charcuterie board, every item in my board for one was good and more than enough to fill my up! My date had the corn beef and loved it as well. My drink was the crush and I crushed it! I'm so upset I hadn't stopped in here sooner! This place always caught my eye on The Avenue, but I never ventured in. I'm glad I finally did - it's right up my alley. I only had time to get a sandwich to go, but I am anxiously awaiting my next trip! I had to wait a bit for my food, but it was a pretty busy Sunday. I just got the 36 Pilgrim Panini, and I was obsessed. I love that sandwich. It has roasted turkey breast, brie cheese, cranberry chutney, and arugula all on a crusty but still soft ciabatta bread. I was intrigued by it because it seemed like a kind of seasonal item, but it looks like it's on their regular menu, which means you can get your Thanksgiving fix year round! They also have salads and snack boards and lots and lots of wine and I need to go back to try it all. They have the cutest little decorations throughout the store and lots of goodies to buy from local businesses. If you're looking for gifts for a foodie/wine lover, check this place out! I had dinner there last week & I ordered the wine trio. It consisted of 3 small glasses of wine (white, red, rose). Their choice of wines. I chose 2 whites & 1 red. The wine is brought out separately. The problem was, each wine was poured into the same glass I was drinking from. I was not able to distinguish between the taste of each wine. A clean glass should have been used for each glass since they were different wines. Such a waste! Sandwich was dry, no accompanying chips or pickle. Very disappointed all around! read more

The ambiance is cute and eclectic, it's as if you are eating in a wine loft. I ordered the Pastrami Mommy, the pastrami was sliced thin and very fresh. I also had a bowl of Tomato Soup talk about tasting the freshest tomatoes. Very smooth and tasty. If you do not want any wine on the menu you can grab a bottle of the shelf or out of the cooler and they will open and serve it. I uncorked a bottle of Banfi Rosa Regale, it is the best when cold. Let's start with the lead, some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Andos is a small quaint store that seems to double as a restaurant and a specialty wine/deli store. Their menu is straightforward with some classic combinations at reasonable and affordable prices. What comes out however is a sandwich made to perfection. Whether it's the light toast on the fluffy baguettes, or using fresh ingredients that crisp with every bite, or fresh cuts of meat that has an aroma before you even bite into it. The hero was delicious. The hot pepper spread played a good counter to the mayonnaise and the Genoa and mortadella were delicious and I finished it before I knew it. The Muffuletta was exactly what you want out of a sandwich. Hearty, meaty, flavorful and slightly tart from the balsamic. The figgy piggy was probably the best sandwich of the day. Prosciutto, fig jam, arugula, balsamic, and goat cheese made for the perfect bite. Will definitely be back again for more. read more

Ando's is awesome. So many reasons. Where to start? Italian - It's a legit Italian deli. The meats, the ingredients, the tastes, ALL LEGIT. I was raised in an Italian community and it's spot on. This might be one of a few places in Baltimore County that offer this love. Ambience - It's a market! Noisy, bright, stuff to buy all over the place, like tchotchkes and alcohol. Love it! Service - Everyone is always kind and fast, even when it's super busy, which is often the case. I love these people. Super social. They're grateful you're there. Price - Very fair! A lunch with a few drinks won't come close to $100. Good value! It's a different kinda joint from the rest of the Ave. great date spot, great place to reconnect with friends, and it's definitely family friendly. I have been following Ando's on Facebook since they opened a couple weeks ago and finally made it in today for a wine tasting event. The wine was good, the sandwiches were delicious and the staff really makes the experience amazing. We tried the Figgy Piggy sandwich and the Mufaletta. I enjoyed the Figgy Piggy so much I got one to go for lunch tomorrow. The bottles of wine are priced amazing and there is a pretty large selection. Had the chance to chat with the owners and the chef. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. They provided recommendations that were knowledgeable. I ordered the flourless chocolate torte to go. Haven't tried it yet but I am sure that will be delicious too. The Sprout it Out was a delicious stacked Turkey Breast sandwich with Sprouts and Cucumber. The thing was huge. I got the side of pickles for $2 which was also nice. So after my drink at the bar we decided to head on over and got a seat in the back it was really nice right next to the kitchen where you can watch them making the food they had a nice selection of mixed drinks and wine selection. Had the best experience here! In town visiting family for a short time and liked this place so much we came back three times. The service is excellent, very knowledgeable but with a casual vibe. The décor is so inviting it's like being in someone's home. The wine selection is great! The prices and deals they have on wine you can't beat. As far as food the salads were really good! I had two different ones, both had a mozzarella ball on them. Yum! My boyfriend had some sandwiches but the one that stands out is the French dip panini. Wow. One of the best sandwiches ever. I even bought a jar of the mustard to take back with me. Knowing that they make almost everything in house, including the meats, really makes this place stand out that much more from what else is out there. Hats off to those running this place.
