I have to say this place has excellent service! We walked in and there were a few staff members waiting to take our orders. My husband ordered his & I ordered mine with a few tweeks (made it my way:-)). The mini size was perfect size for me. It was delicious but messy due to the oil (which I didn't want but the woman put it on as I'm saying no, no none of the oil! Too late! I just took it & tried it with oil and as I thought I didn't like the oil. It made my sub soggy so I only got to eat 1/2 of the mini sub. Disappointed:(!! The tables were not cleaned nor the chairs. We weren't given our cups for drinks, napkins or anything other than our sub in brown bag twisted. We had to get our own cups and find napkins and clean the table and chairs. There's one thing that saved them from getting a much lower review, I found agave vanilla cream soda! I'm not a big soda fan but this is a flavor that took me back to my childhood and great memories going to get cream soda as a special treat! I have not seen any or drank any in decades! That drink made my day. It's the small things. Now they need it in diet:-). Overall-cleanliness 3/5 Food 3/5 Options 4/5 Handicap accessible-Yes 5/5 Price 3/5

So good, I had to go back!

I went back to Jersey Mike's after being away for a while. There were no flies (in comparison to my first review), and my sandwich was as good as ever! I had the original Italian on rosemary Parmesan bread. I just love how thin the meat is sliced. Everything is super duper fresh and fast! The price is pretty reasonable for the freshness and high quality of the meats and cheeses. I would to go Jersey Mike's over any cold cut spot nearby. They remind me of the delicious cold cut sandwiches I used to eat when I was a little girl. Anything sprinkled with a taste of nostalgia goes a long way with me!

One of the best of subs I've ever had! I stopped in for lunch because I had heard from friends that their house spices and dressing made a huge difference in flavor. They were correct! I stopped in to this location and was immediately greeted by a very nice employee. I ordered the Turkey and provolone 'The Mike Way'. The Mile way included lettuce, tomato, onions and their house spices and vinegar dressings. The sub was prepared quickly and was absolutely delicious! The spices gave it a kick and the dressings gave it tang that was unexpected. Those additions placed it far above a normal Subway or similar deli sub. Overall, I experienced excellent service and a superb sub. Will definitely be back for more.

If you're talking Baltimore pit beef, Chaps Pit Beef has been a staple for years, and after coming here for over a decade, I can confidently say it still delivers every single time. Their new location, just a stone's throw from the original humble shack, is a huge upgrade. You get the same iconic food, but now with a much larger dining room that actually makes it easy to bring a group without fighting for space. It's the best of both worlds. Same old school flavor with a more comfortable setup. On my most recent visit, I stuck with my go to. A loaded hoagie absolutely packed with pit beef, corned beef, sausage, and turkey. It's massive, messy in the best way, and exactly what you want when you're craving something unapologetically Baltimore. I paired it with a large order of fries, which were piled high and perfect for sharing. Decided to switch it up a bit and try the Holy Cod fish sandwich too, and that ended up being a sleeper hit. Huge portion of crispy fried cod, topped with fresh coleslaw on a soft bun. Not something you usually go to Chaps for, but honestly worth ordering. Everything came out crazy fast, which is always impressive considering how busy they can get. Quick stop at the condiment bar is a must. Load up on the free pickles, onions, Carolina Gold mustard, and that tiger sauce. The horseradish and mayo combo just hits different on pit beef. Bottom line, Chaps might not be a hidden gem anymore, but it doesn't need to be. It still outperforms most spots in the pit beef game and continues to be one of the best sandwiches you can get in Baltimore.

It didn't even have the smell or feel of a proper pit beef place. Customer service also needs improvement. The cashier taking our order seemed more focused on watching the baseball game on TV than helping customers. It might be worth turning the TV off near the counter so staff can give customers the attention and service they deserve. Overall, not a great experience.

The fries were good but taste even better when they ate pipping hot!! I loved the Kane sauce! They need to sell that separately like chic fil a do in grocery stores. The main reason I gave this place 4 starts is because of the luck of diversity within their menu. All they have is chicken tenders, fries, coleslaw and a chicken tender sandwich. Not many options. Being a chicken place, I am surprised they don't have traditional wings or more side orders to choose from. I know in the past, they didn't have those and the line would be so long, people were out the building. French fries, toast, and chicken were good. Chicken could've been crispier. Same with fries. The vibe is pretty much just college students trying to get a quick bite. Tip: don't take the food to go. Eat at the restaurant for the best quality. Once the food gets older, it's even more mushy.

They do have a whole lot of different sauces to choose from. I tried a few but my favorites were the Smoky Mountain and that Bay-B-Que, which has some Old Bay in it. Pollo Campero is a nice addition to the Nottingham area and provides a bit of a different take on the traditional fast food chicken places such as KFC and Popeyes. Offering Guatemalan chicken fare with fried and rotisserie chicken, rice & beans, yuca, jamaica punch and horchata to wash it all down. The setup of Pollo Campero is similar to any other fast food chain restaurant, no frills with the ambiance. However, it did appear that you can get your chicken served family style on a platter when dining in. There was a bit of a language barrier when ordering my food and a slight mix up when receiving my food since the employee told me my order wasn't ready even though he then turned around and called my name, again, as I stood in front of him. I asked for the fried white meat combo but instead the employee rung me up for dark meat, after asking me my name three times I just decided to let it slide because I was on a time crunch. I thought the chicken was seasoned well, the beans we're tasty although a little skimpy on the portion, and the fries were ok. All in all, I'm looking forward to trying some other menu options at Pollo Campero once the newness of the restaurant has died down some and they've gotten into a rhythm with their customer service.

I ordered 1/4 chicken white, plaintains, & yuca fries, which was about $15, which is a little high compared with some other places, but I was going with what was convenient in this shopping center as I was pretty unfamiliar with restaurants in the area. Incredibly, the cashier said we have bottled water for sale. I explained what happened at CAVA, and that it would be incredible if 2 restaurants in this shopping center gets 1-star on Yelp because they denied me water (I saw this CAVA next door was only my 26th 1-star ever, so quite rare percentage wise, less than 4% of my Yelp reviews). And also said that in addition to the 1-star, you aren't getting a dime from me from the food you made. The cashier was smart and said that I could have a bottled water. However, if their normal policy is denying water, this is why they don't get 4 but 3-stars. Food was pretty good. I've had some better Peruvian chicken places, but it was solid, above average overall. Sides were solid too. Portion size of the chicken was kind of small too. Considering their normal policy is no courtesy cup of water but gave me the bottled water only because I threatened no business & bad Yelp review, they got my one pre-tax sale of about $15 (which should've been about $13 or so), but I wouldn't return here.
