The training I was in ordered lunch from here everyday and I thought the food was very good (I tried the buffalo chicken salad and meatball sub), so I decided to go for dinner. I had the crab cakes and they were outstanding! The place was filled with locals who are clearly regulars but they were all friendly, as was the service. Very disappointed, having just moved to the area, I took advice from a group of friends who raved about Casa Mia's in White Marsh. Maybe I was naive thinking that, being in Baltimore, anything crab would be excellent in a restaurant with such great word of mouth advertising. WRONG! I ordered the crab egg roll, and if I had to guess, it was premade elsewhere, heated, and delivered to my door. There is no doubt that it was made with pastured canned crab meat with such a fishy smell and taste. Thankfully, the serving of chicken tenders was large enough to be filling. 3/4 of the eggrolls ended the night in the dumpster. Tried twice and that's enough. They need to approach a table within 2-5 minutes of sitting down with menus and water which they didn't. I have seen employees taking up needed tables on their breaks while customers need to sit. The kitchen is awful. They need to change the oil a little more frequently. I was sick for two days from their "chicken" parm sub and fries. The aftertaste of old oil is one I will never forget. Neither the waiter or manager cared. In fact the older female manager with short hair and lack of teeth blamed the poor service and awful food on the bar manager who left early without telling her, as if that is my problem. Places like this are for people that don't know any better. By the way, my wife said the crab cake is good. I will not return here and I will let people know not to go there. My wife and I were there 10/30/2024 at 8:35 PM. All the tables in the dinning room were reserved for bingo night. I'm ok with that, I told them my wife and I would get our food and eat at a table outside. They said alright and then as we looked at the menu to choose something for dinner they announced that nobody could sit outside and they suggested a couple times that we could take the food to go and bring it home. We live far away - we can't bring it home to eat. I told them we'd go eat somewhere else and left and went to the Royal Farms store on Rt. 7 and had wonderful chicken sandwiches and the Royal Farms employees were very nice to us. Screw Casa Mia. Stopped in for lunch today and was not disappointed, oh so good. The system they have going for dine in is order at the counter and they will bring it to you, hot and fresh. My husband ordered the coldcut sub, all mild meat, no problem. The roll was fresh along with all the fixins. I ordered the baked ziti, asking them to brown it on the top. All arrived at once and was perfect. I have to complement them on the tomato sauce, it was excellent with a bit of texture from tomato pieces and onions. It was a generous portion and I had to take half of it home to enjoy later. Plenty of seasonings at the table for what you choose. Right now the dining area is undergoing a remodel, still usable. Visited on a Sunday night and it was pretty lively. We sat outside in their outdoor area, which was much quieter apart from the busy roads and the crowded parking. The service was a bit slow, and our appetizer came out with our main dish. The rock fish bites were more like fillets, not bite size but still very tasty. I'd get it again! The crab cake was good quality too. It was served on toasted sandwich bread with a side of chips. Next time I'd replace the side with fries, but love this spot for the convenience of location and seafood so far was good. I'd come back to try it out again. read more

I've tried Casa Mia's a few times because I always want to give a local shop an extra chance. Unfortunately, I've been disappointed by them every single time. Being from New Jersey, I love pizza, and especially love local pizza joints over chains. Casa Mia's pizza has consistently been an awful experience. It tastes bitter, is much too cheesy, not enough sauce, too much bread, and often tastes like the dough is frozen and the sauce is canned. I know some of those are personal preference, but I'm considering the overall flavor for this review. I've also ordered wings from there twice, which you can tell are frozen because of how dry they are. The second time I ordered, they even gave us a whole whopping 2 small sticks of celery when we asked for celery with our wings. My Mom and I have been ordering from Casa Mia's for years. We absolutely love their steak sub, southwestern eggrolls, spaghetti with meat sauce, rice pudding, cheese cake, crab cake...(I could go on). I recently ordered the appetizer combo (mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers and southwestern eggrolls) as well as crab balls from their catering menu. Restaurant is chaos. At one point while waiting for my carry out order I counted 16 people, mostly kids, behind the counter and at the grilling area. Cheese steak my wife ordered was good. The chicken panini I ordered was absolutely terrible. Worst cooked chicken I've ever tried to eat, literally like rubber. I tried two bites and told my wife I couldn't eat it. My observation is that this restaurant went downhill with the pandemic, and have yet to recover. It's a shame since they are so convenient to where we live. read more

I ordered Casa Mias for delivery for the first time having lived in the area for almost a year. I wish I ordered from here sooner. Usually I am hesitant about take out because food tends to get soggy and cold but this was not the case. I got a crab cake with mixed veggies and mac and cheese. The crab cake was amazing! So flavorful and huge chunks of crab. The veggies were delicious, peppers and zucchini. The mac and cheese was one of the best that I have ever had.... so cheesy and flavorful (similar to panera style but 5x better) The meal also came with 2 breadsticks. Cannot say enough great about our experiences including Christmas eve crab cakes that are always perfection and we have ordered them many times! :-) The staff even put together a last minute dessert tray that was affordable and yummy! Recently moved in the area and favorite spot was closed so I decided to try the place out. Scrolled thru the menu and decided to go with the "Over-Stuffed Cheesesteak". The said it would be delivered in 45 minutes and it arrived 10 minutes early so I tipped the very courteous delivery guy. I was hungry so quickly sat down and opened it up and immediately felt like I was hoodwinked because it was NOT overstuffed. The bread was regular not even mid-tier and for an 8 inch sub roll short on steak. I'm not sure if they ran out steak or something because honestly looked like two pieces of Steak-um diced up with fried onions. If you have 13 year or younger this is the cheesesteak for you but I'd rather wait out this quarantine to go to my normal spot Ravage Deli instead. If they by chance get a better quality roll and offer an adult-sized helping I'd might entertain giving them a second chance. read more

I went here prior to my pedicure next door at Vince's. I ordered the fried mushrooms and southwest egg roles. Talk about pricey. My meal with drink came to a little over $18. I waited a good 20 minutes which seemed about right. Got my food and the southwest egg roles were rather bland. The ranch (?) dip provided with egg roles seemed off. I come to this area frequently for business. I almost always order Casa Mia's crab cakes to be delivered to the hotel. They are always delicious, true, authentic Maryland Crab Cakes. During this trip I wanted to switch it up and I ordered a cheesesteak sub. It was absolutely fantastic. Philly level cheesesteak sub. This place had a menu and an advertisement for the hotel where i was staying for two weeks while on business. The Manager of the hotel highly recommended this place when i inquired about local meal delivery options other than pizza. I visited their website in an effort to read their menu but, alas; the only options available are "catering" and "Pharmaceutical". None of the other links/buttons would allow me to view their menu - let alone allow me to place an order. Moreover; when i entered the address of the hotel to 'verify' the delivery address I was met with an apologetic message stating that they do not deliver to that address. According to Google Maps, this place is a driving distance of 1.3 miles from the hotel. I fail to understand why they actively advertise delivery to this hotel and then refuse delivery. If the owner/management of this establishment does not pay attention to the simple details of their online portal, i have serious doubts about their attentiveness to food quality, sanitation and the privacy/security of customer data. If I was the owner of this business I would most definitely keep my web site current and functional. read more

Can't speak any higher of this place every time I come to town we get the shrimp salad sub straight off the plane. The shrimp are massive there are plenty of them and the sauciness is adequate not overwhelming. Had the bacon burger yesterday Patty was large properly hand formed And delicious. It pains me to do this to one of my fave lunch spots near my work, but I had to take off a star after an experience I had this afternoon. I order from casa Mia's usually every other week. Normally I get a chicken cheesesteak. Today I decided to switch it up and get a shrimp salad wrap. Bad idea. I felt sick within a half hour, and I've been sick since (9 hours later). Yummmmmm we got carry out tonight and omg yummy! Their crabcake sub is yummy! Its packed and not frozen crabcakes with filler that some places try to pass off , I got the broiled and yummy ! My daughter wanted Mac and cheese ( she's 3 , she'd live off it if I let her ) and it's so good! They make it with penne and a few different cheeses , I totally recommend it ! I won't be ever stepping foot into your restaurant EVER again! Today 10/23/19 between 11:10-1135 am I was waiting patiently for my crab cake sub i came 10 mins earlier than the time quoted and paid for my food while i waited! One of the ladies said to the lady at the fryer, there's a lady waiting for the crab cake sub. Never once did I mention that I was still waiting for the sub. A guy peeks his head out of I guess the back kitchen looks at me and then looks at the lady and says "is that the bitch right there" then I notice my crab cake being put on bread that had been sitting out way before I got there and I watched a fly all over it. I mentioned something to the lady and she said well we make out bread ahead of time and but I watched the guy at the grill make a sub and he made his bread when the sub was ready. NEVER AGAIN I'm so pissed. Waited 35 mins to be treated like crap. I took the sub and left bc I didn't want to sit another 20 mins and don't know what would have happened to my food while the guy cooked my crab cake again. They also deleted my review/ complaint on fb as well. Edited to say: the owner commented on my review to email him bc he wanted to discuss further. Well that was months ago and I've never heard back. I just ordered an 8oz double crab cake platter with two sides. The total w/$2 delivery charge was $43ish. The crab cakes appeared to be large but were wet, cold inside and Not as much lump meat you'd expect at that price. They forgot my side of vegetables. I called and waited for 5 minutes and spoke with Hailey, the manager. I was given two options: they would send the vegetables to me or give me a $4 credit. I did not have the time to wait another 45 minutes for the rest of my meal and I might not order from them again. I should of at least been refunded the $4 and maybe a little more!?! Thanks Hailey!! I got the crabcake platter delivered to the hotel I was staying at. The broiled crabcakes had a lot of flavor and practically no fillers. Seeing as though I grew up in Annapolis, I'd say they did these right. They were also not small crabcakes, and they definitely had some large, tender chunks of crab, which I love. They didn't over-season them either so you can taste the freshness of the crab. The cole slaw was subpar, though, and they could improve the organization of their online ordering service. They make a solid mac and cheese. I'll be ordering from here again if I return to White Marsh. Definitely try the broiled crabcakes. I can't speak for the fried ones, though, as I've never tried them. read more
