    Chicken Double Crunch Bone-In Wings

The seating was comfortable and there was no wait for a table. Our waitress was friendly and prompt with refills. The food was good - better than it looked. I was hoping you would get some veggies with a chicken and shrimp entree. It looks a little empty without them on the big plate. Overall, it is comfortable and tasty enough.

The waitress was cool. The food was good as well. Will definitely be coming back. It was a nice experience to go out and eat and have good food with nice vibes.

The server was weird and didn't really check in on us. The food was meh. I got the riblets and bbq chicken breast. The riblets were good. The chicken was dry. The garlic green beans lacked flavor, including the garlic! The side salad is the smallest portion I have ever gotten from a restaurant. The Mac and cheese were really good! The honey chicken tender pasta is also very good. The place needed to be cleaned up. The table was wiped down but still sticky. The bathrooms also needed to be cleaned. The cheese bites were cold and salty. The drinks were delicious. We did wait 15 minutes for them. We ended up having to ask another server. We could see them the whole time just sitting on the bar counter. Overall, it's a 2. Wouldn't recommend it.

    Nachos... BALLER

I am not sure what it means to be "Fancy like Applebee's on date night." Applebee's has always struck me as the low end of middle of the road. Certainly not fancy. Certainly not a special occasion place I'd want to go for Date Night. However, it's fine for a Wednesday lunch with my mom and my boyfriend. My younger sister used to work at Applebee's, in Timonium (it's closed now) so we used go there all the time. And then she met her future husband there. He used to wear an "Otis" nametag, even though his name is Mike - specifically so he could ignore customers when they would call out "Otis!" trying to get his attention. We had my grandfather's after funeral dinner at Applebee's in Dundalk, which is also now closed. So, imagine my surprise when they opened a brand-new location in White Marsh. It's a fine place. Not enough accessible parking for the lunch rush. Let's get to the food... So, my boyfriend was excited to see a VERY blue Mountain Dew available. He really enjoyed Dark Berry Bash... As an appetizer he ordered (but then did not eat until later that night) the Neighborhood Nachos with Beef: Freshly made white corn tortilla chips are topped with taco-seasoned ground beef, queso blanco, a blend of melted Cheddar cheeses, house-made pico de gallo, fresh jalapeños, chopped cilantro, sour cream and guacamole. $12.99 He's not into guac or avocado but somehow managed to eat half the nachos - cold, I may add - in the nighttime hours. The next day we had the other half and he was like, uhhh did I eat all the guacamole last night?! Yes, apparently he did. He also got the NEW Neighborhood Double Burger: A neighborhood classic. Two juicy, all-beef 3.5 oz. patties are seared and stacked with American cheese and smothered with buttery garlic sauce, pickles on a Brioche bun. $12.99 He claimed it was a "perfectly valid cheese burger but half the time I couldn't even tell it had garlic sauce on it." Added boneless garlic parmesan wings for a dollar, which were "far superior to the garlic sauce on the burger." My mother ordered Brew Pub Pretzels & Beer Cheese Dip for her app. Soft, Bavarian-style pretzel sticks are ready to dip in BLUE MOON® white Cheddar beer cheese and honey Dijon mustard. $9.99... gotta say, I don't understand this newfound thing restaurants are doing with beer cheese. Gosh that was awful. But the dijon mustard dip is delicious. The pretzels are well-salted, soft and satisfying. For her main meal she got Double Crunch Shrimp: Crispy, battered shrimp are fried golden brown. Served with cocktail sauce, our signature coleslaw and fries. $17.99 She liked it, but it's hard to destroy boxed battered shrimp. She ALWAYS gets boxed battered shrimp. She always shares. They always taste like the last boxed battered shrimp she got at the last luncheon restaurant. She's reached that age where she orders the same safe foods. Funny, because she always seemed to be disappointed when my grandmother did that. I ordered the BACON CHEDDAR GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH: Our grilled chicken breast is topped with two strips of Applewood-smoked bacon and Cheddar, then finished with tangy house-made BBQ ranch, crisp lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on a Brioche bun. Served with classic fries. $13.99 For reasons, I'm on a month-long streak where I order a sandwich and it doesn't seem to have sauce on it. There wasn't any sort of BBQ or ranch flavor. There was something on the bottom bun, which soaked through and made the bun horribly mushy. Why put the sauce on the thinner part of the bun? The lettuce was limp, slightly slimy and completely worthless. When I packed the leftover half of my sandwich to take home, I left the condiments and the bottom bun. And, can I mention, the take-away containers are laughably tiny? So we were forced to leave our fries - which AREN'T the only side available so if you don't like fries, ask what else is available. Glad to check this restaurant off our list of local places, as we visit a different place every week with my mom. Won't return. Don't recommend unless you like that basic menu. No stand-out items here.

I understand we are in different times than we were 2 years ago. But why, when you have 50 tables available, you have to seat people right next to each other? Service was good tho. My issue is with the food. I ordered the 4 cheese mac and cheese with honey chicken strips. The photo in the menu shows 3 strips and it's $16.99. What I received was not worth the $16.99. I received the equivalent of 1 strip. I complained to my server and the manager. I was brought out one more strip. Still not what was pictured and not worth the cost. I returned my entire meal. This is the last time we will come here.

I had not been to an Applebees in probably 6+ years. In that time I realized they have gone through a big facelift. Despite how great the restaurant looked, service is also very important! No matter it being a chain, the service should still hold up its own! When we first entered we awkwardly stood there probably for about 2 mins. Someone walked up, looked at the table chart, said hold on, walked away and then someone else came to greet us. While this person was trying to walk us over to the table the initial guy that was at the host stand, blocked her way, refusing to move (playfully) as we continue to awkwardly stand there... she eventually had to walk around to the other end. our server on the other hand was fantastic! Prompt and friendly! Checked on us readily. The food was surprisingly good too minus our burgers being way over cooked. We were too hungry to complain and it was edible so... we ate it. The quesadillas and the pretzels were delicious !! Tip; When ordering a burger order one level below what you'd normally get!

Every now and then I enjoy Applebee's! I'm from NJ where I use to go to Applebee's once a week. They were really your neighborhood restaurant experiences for a while. This one happened to be across the street from duck donuts and I was drawn by the fire out front. I'm a sucker for an outdoor fire pit. So I tried it and the place was new and spotless. The waitress was great and the food was flavorful. I will be back when I am in this area.

We've been to restaurants lately where the prices are crazy overpriced for a child. I learned from our server that kids eat free on Saturday with an adult entree. Will definitely be back with the whole family for that perk! If you're not interested in sitting outside, the indoor dining room was really open and nice. The bar seemed to be a very popular section to sit! If I had to find some a needs improvement would be the cleanliness of the restrooms. Definitely could use a deep clean. On the plus side my family enjoyed the ribs and crab balls. On the negative side, the fish in my fish and chips was painfully thin and small. Normally you get a nice chunky piece of fish when you get fish and chips. Not only that, l've never had fish and chips where the skin was on the fish. I left most of the skin behind, but ate some of it because the portion was so small. I had to eat something. Please have the chef look up what fish and chips is supposed to look like. Despite being the only server, our wait person was outstanding - it wasn't their fault that they had to handle the entire dining room. . Also appreciated the carafe of water on the table - but why no ice -had to drink lukewarm water. I popped in to The Local with one of my friends for a much needed happy hour and we were both in consensus we had to come back to try some other menu items and specials. $7 for the house Sangria and a mule of the day, was a great start to the evening and quite tasty. We both dined on the burger and fries and enjoyed the dish. I would've like a bit of seasoning on the burger patties and maybe a cheddar or American cheese, but that's my personal preference. I asked for the black truffle aioli on the side and that was definitely the way to go to really be able to taste the black truffle. And might I say the aioli was delicious. Our waitress was great and very attentive. The Local offers different specials on various nights and even does live music on Friday nights. This is a great place on the Avenue to enjoy dishes made with ingredients from local businesses and enjoy a delicious meal.

I was very excited to try the restaurant out. Upon being sat at the table and trying out the bread rolls, I agreed that they were very delicious. We soon ate all 4 of them, which was all we got for the whole night despite numerous requests for refills. Are they really endless? I don't know. It was a busy Friday night, and it seemed like our server was trying her best, she tended to us when she could, but it seemed like she had a lot of tables sat around the same time. The menu I looked through was filthy and crusted with bits of old food. I figured maybe it was a miss due to it being so busy. When we were done with our bread rolls, a busser walked by to grab the bread roll tray, and we asked if he could get us more bread. He said yes but never came back with more bread. We saw him bussing tables near us throughout the night. Maybe he wasn't allowed to handle bread rolls? I also saw tables around us with bags of peanuts and bread rolls. We were not offered any peanuts by the hostess. I ordered the 16oz Prime Rib with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans, Gravy on the side. When our food arrived, a female server running the food had set up a stand on the side of our table with the food on a big tray. She literally threw my plate at me and the au jus sauce spilled all over the plate and onto the table. She didn't acknowledge that anything abnormal happened. This was very weird and abnormal to me. No where have I ever dined before do they serve food like this. I found it very unpleasant and worrying as it seemed completely normal to her like she threw everyone's plate of food at them? Yall should check up on this because it's poor customer service if everyone that dines here gets food throw at them. Unless that's something that's practiced regularly at this restaurant? Which is very odd and peculiar. If she wasn't able to carry all the heavy plates and needed help, she should've asked for help from her coworkers. I tried to make the best of this entree being thrown at me. Our server did try her best to refill our drinks and check up on us. We asked another male server wearing a hat who waited on tables nearby if we could have a refill of bread. He also said yes and never came back with any bread. At this point I don't think the bread is endless, nor refillable. I did see him give excellent customer service to other tables around us numerous times, such as bring them fresh bread roll trays, refill their drinks and bring them to go containers with bags for leftovers. I was very disappointed as I was told by numerous people that Texas Roadhouse is known for endless bread rolls... It seems we got about 4 bread rolls all night and that was it. I'll be sure to update everyone I know of the new policy changes with the bread rolls here. That's important information if they're expecting refills. When we were done with our food, we waited a ridiculously long amount of time to get the check and an even longer amount of time to get to go containers and bags for our leftovers. We watched as tables around us cleared out. They got their checks and to go containers with bags before us. Throughout this whole time, a good 5 to 7 servers took time to congregated around the service station to talk loudly about personal business. Both my friend and I tried to get their eye contact so we could pay our tab and leave. With no luck. We literally made eye contact with them, and they just ignored us. At that point, I intended to just walk up to them and ask where the to go containers and bags were stored because I was willing to go get them myself. I was tired of waiting for no help. We wanted to leave. We waited even a longer amount of time. And saw our original server, so we asked for to go boxes. And finally, another female server gave us to go boxes. No bags. No containers for sauces. While everyone else around us got those altogether. I finally walked up to the group of chit chatty congregated servers and asked if we could get to go cups for sauces and bags. Another female server in a jacket stuttered yes and walked away from me. I never saw her again either. Then our server came back, and we asked her for bags. The whole dining experience was mediocre at best and horrible at worst. I don't think I'd be willing to dine here again in a long time unfortunately. There are a lot of problems going on that were totally avoidable. What a not great first impression.
