No napkins for the to go order
Erica B.

There was nothing Italian about the Italian Subs we ordered. They both taste like a sandwich I'd make in my house except mine would be better. I placed my order over the phone. I ordered one sub with mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil and vinegar. I wanted mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions, hot peppers, oil and vinegar on the second. When I said hot peppers the person on the phone, said "jalapeños". I'm thinking huh, no way. I asked, do you have hot relish that goes in Italian deli subs. He said yes. Gave me the total, said 20 minutes and hung up. I arrived within 10 but it took me an extra 10 minutes to find parking. I never did. I parked at Royal Farms and walked over. I paid in cash, the guy behind the register was a lot nicer in person than he was in the phone. In my drive home, I didn't smell anything from the bag. Like nothing, not even onions. Got home, opened that bad boy up and was disappointed immediately. No napkins in the bag, the bread was toasted, only 4 slices of meat, chopped onions instead of sliced, no oil and a vinegar on either subs. It was the most basic Italian Sub I've ever had. It's a hard pass for me.

Love this place. Been looking for a good pizza place and being from Jersey this place really does it good

Burnt pizza

I used to love Ribaldis and ordered from them regularly. I ordered a large x-cheese pizza for delivery, since my family was ill and we needed something quick. When I got the pizza and started cutting it up, I noticed it was burned at the bottom. When I tried it, the pizza tasted burnt and the dough was hard like cardboard. I called the restaurant, told them I had pictures to prove it, but they refused to resend a pizza unless I brought it in person. I explained I couldn't, my family is sick and highly contagious, offered to send pictures, etc. The store still refused unless I "proved it" by bringing it in person. I had to call Slice to get it resolved. They brought another pizza, but after reading other reviews I didn't trust or want it. I am pretty disappointed, this was my go-to for fast food pizza.

I had the taste for an Italian cold cut. Stopped here today. Parking was a little difficult because most of the residents in the area were home. I entered and started to place my order. I didn't know that they didn't serve seafood products so, a fish sub was out. I ordered an Italian cold cut everything extra hots and red onions. It wasn't crowded when I placed my order. I was pretty much in and out. If you go based on the ambiance you might turn away but, the food didn't disappoint. The sub was on fire with spice. Just like I like it. I ordered a whole sub. I have half left over for tomorrow.

"Extra" cheese

This is an extra cheese and mushroom pizza. There is no extra cheese and the mushrooms are 2 or 3 pieces per slice. It's a big rip off.

The plain cheese pizza was excellent. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will be back for sure

Cheese pizza and 4 piece garlic knots

So, I visited this establishment after having not visited for many years. They did not disappoint. The manager - didn't get his name was beyond accommodating and patient as I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. Getting the food home, I only had to put it in the toaster oven to regain the crispness that went away during the drive and a couple of stops getting home. Although I live a good distance from this place, I will be going again as my XL pepperoni, ground beef and Italian sausage pizza and hubby's American cold cut is a winner!!!

I order at least once a week and the service is always as warm as the food. It's good to have Ribaldi's in the neighborhood.

I was hoping to park on the street to run in but ended up driving around for 10+ minutes before ending up in the lot. Turns out my parking was free so it worked out just fine. For the food, I got the cheese pizza with prosciutto and the mango habanero wings. The pizza was fantastic, and I really liked that you can order a half portion which was great for 2 people. The crust was crispy, and the cheese and sauce were great, and it was packed with prosciutto. The wings were also great, I loved the sauce and the sesame seeds on some of them which was a fun twist.

Parking anywhere downtown especially the inner harbor on the street is very limited; and the parking garages are insane at times. I found parking and made way to this establishment at the Power Plant. There was a Flippino festival going on at Power Plant as well. When we entered the establishment, we were immediately seated. Seating is only at high tops or the bar. We started off with a couple drinks, old bay wings and cheesesteak sliders. The drinks were ok, not 5 star rating. The cheesesteak sliders were okay as well. We ordered Old bay fries which came out great. After digesting the wings, sliders and fries we ordered the Peppers and Onions pizza with added spinach. The pizza came out very light. Ive had this pizza previously and it was toasted and not doughy. There was very little cheese. The pizza disappointed. So after all, I was very disappointed with the choice of this establishment today. Absolutely nothing but the friendly attentive staff was a plus. The staff were beyond attentive. It could be a bad day but definitely not good since I havent been here in about 3 plus years. The prices has increased tremendously as well. I wouldnt say not to go but based on today, I would be skeptical to return again for myself in the future.

Also ordered a Caesar salad which unfortunately did not come (again, the delivery had other issues so I don't think it was the fault of the restaurant). My bf loved the cheese ravioli. He thought the filling was tasty and enjoyed the sauce. Their red sauce is a more chunky sauce with onions which I did not taste because I'm not a fan, but he would get it again. I'm still looking for a smooth sauce for some chicken parm, but no worries since the menu here has plenty of different sauce options! I enjoyed the chicken francese. The chicken was very tender and it was a generous portion. I felt it could have used a bit more flavor, but the sauce was a nice consistency and the linguine was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the complimentary rolls that came with the meal. Overall, I enjoyed this spot and will try more items in the future!

The space itself is small but homey, which I liked. It's a little bit of a tight fit for everyone in there but it works. The service overall was great. The chef came over and greeted us, and even checked in later, and we had a great conversation with their somm. The food was fantastic! The pasta's and pizzas were both unique and delightful. We split a ceasar salad, meatballs, the greek pizza, a sausage pizza, and two speciality pastas- a cacio e pere (pear), and another one that I can't pronounce in italian but was a very thin lasagna like noodle with meats/spices inside. We also split one of their desserts, which i really liked. Shout out to the hazelnut gelato which was particularly delicious. I will absolutely return!

There was a curtain, but it was pulled back. The market stuff is still there and the outside of the building is pretty dark. I wish they had played up the speakeasy part more, but they made up for it in service, food, and drink. We were seated quickly. There were only a few tables left and we felt lucky to grab one. Our waiter came quickly and we immediately ordered the drink special, a butternut squash old fashioned. It was amazing and the bartender came out and told us how he made it. I volunteered to be taster for future creations. I don't know if he will take me up on it. We ordered the Plum and Burrata Salad, Fristo misto, and a Goat pizza. The salad was so good. I could have had it as a meal. It had a generous amount of plums, barrata and prosciutto. The pizza had a perfect hand tossed crust. The toppings were also great. I should have asked for some red pepper flakes but that was my fault. The Frito misto was not my favorite. The breading seemed fresh which is good. I liked the shrimp better than the calamari. We didn't get to try dessert because we were about to explode. I can't wait to go back and explore more on the menu.
